The folks over at Socketeq have released WindowsAndroid. It runs natively on your Windows machine, meaning that there is no need for emulation. WindowsAndroid runs on the Windows kernel, instead of the Linux kernel. Currently they are on Android v4.0.3. It's compatible with Vista, Win7, and Win8. Keyboard and Mouse are fully supported. This is the early release, so there might be some bugs.
Normally download is hosted on Socketeq's website, but right now the site is down due to heavy loads. Here is and alternate link if your interested:

correct me if i am wrong but for PC User (x86) there is only Android 2.2 available, not ICS, so please edit the thread title !
download:android-x86-2.2-generic.iso , after burn iso to cd or run from virtual machine

I've tried the 1.6 and 2.2 release on my ASUS Eee PC 900 a while back, having ICS on it might be fun (for a bit). I'll definitely give this a try.
The iso files are hybrid format. That means you can dump the iso into a usb drive and get a bootable usb stick.

I download the iso, copy on the USB stick and then what?

The ubuntu help pages have some great tips for creating bootable USB sticks from ISOs:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/FromUSBStick
So it's only x86 processors? Or any intel processor? Because I have an i7-2600k which is obviously x64 based, however I don't see why I couldn't install an x86 android on it, as you can install 32bit windows on it.
I burned it on CD, nothing happens, no installation window appear?
working great on VMware 8, actually better. because you have Internet connectivity with virtual pc.

try windows 8 mobile edition
first of all, the touch doesnt work. you need to drag the miniature cursor here.
secondly, you cannot have access to net easily. it needs some tweaking

Hello all,
If you're not familiar with Android Injector, it is a free app for PC that allows you install apk files (sideload) onto your Android device via USB connection. New version 2.0 integrates with the Windows shell and allows you to associate apk files with the program. Then you can just select any amount of apk files from Explorer, right-click them, and click "Install with Android Injector". It also has a redesigned program interface.
See androidinjector.com for details.
Is this legit?

Actually my friend told me about this application and I tried it 3 days ago. But anyway I said thank you because now we have a thread for this app. My notebook is too old to support syncing of screen when asphalt 8 was running. I had a lot of lag. Maybe it is supposed to be that way. I am not sure. Did anyone else tried running games with controller attached.?
