Thank you so much!
Sure. Also, quick way to change to the emoji keyboard (or to any keyboard) from the Android 4.2 default keyboard is to hold down the space bar. You'll get the IME selector.

As seen in my signature I currently have a Wildfire. (rooted, Cyanogen) I do miss one thing in particular which is the keyboard in Sense. Does anyone have a working apk?
Thank you

HTC_IME Mod Android 1.6 and up
HTC_IME Mod Android 1.5 (no voice input)
Credits goes to jonasl, not me
Force closes like other apk files I tried (I read in another thread it has something to do with Froyo 2.2.1)

Have you tried the froyo version from here?
Try the version with no voice input 1.5. It works on all versions of Froyo.

Yes indeed it works! It's a pity the graphics are so poor though..

Seems like a nice port of the original ICS keyboard, but certainly doesn't have any of the JB features such as predictive text working to make it better than the HTC one that came with the phone.

It is not the ICS port.it is the original jelly bean keyboard. With all the features.

I should have emphasized "it seems like" since it doesn't matter if it's straight JB, it only worked like the ICS keyboard for me, with no new features whatsoever.

Don't cross post in all the forums please.
Does anyone succeed in extracting the keyboard apk to port it to other phones?
Try jelly bean keyboard pro...you can set it like sense keyboard.

I'm currently running MMuzzy's ROM 4.2.1 with the T9 dialer mod on my GNex Verizon (toro). I want to switch to CarbonRom but I can't seem to find a T9 dialer in that thread that is specifically for that ROM.
So my question is:
Do I need a mod specifically for a ROM and device?
Just a device?
Just a ROM?
Or does it matter more that it is compatible with the base code version of android, e.g. 4.2.1 vs 4.2.2 or ICS vs JB?
Hope this makes sense
Im pretty sure carbon already has T9 in the dialer built in.

iPhone Style Stock Keyboard Modification
The Keyboard is based on Stock ICS Keyboard. Works no most Devices but Not All Device are supported. So before flashing Backup your Original LatinIME.apk
