Guys I own a SGS2 and a LG LED TV.
Is there a way that I can connect my phone to LG LED TV (which is dlna certified) like the Samsung Allshare application?
What I want is to play games or browse the phone on the TV without HDMI.
Don't know about playing games, but you can browser several sites with imediashare free through dlna devices.
Thanks mate
Hello,
most manufacturers now provide apps that allow us to stream media from our phones to DLNA compatible TVs (TVs, AV-Receivers, Media Center Devices etc.). I was however not able to find an app that allows you to play a youtube video from your phone to the tv. Does someone know such an app? Are there any technical limitations on our phones that prevent such functionality?

Does allshare supports only Samsung TVs?
AllShare is based on the DLNA standard, so it should support any other TVs which are DLNA certified.
I didn't try with TVs, but Windows Media Player 12 (Windows 7) can detect my phone over the local WiFi network and stream 720p videos.

I think Allshare just activates DLNA on phone. My Smart TV's media library can able to sync with the phone perfectly however I couldn't able to detect my TV on app like Samsung TVs .
Is your TV DLNA certified? Does it have the DLNA logo in the manual or somewhere? Even if it is DLNA capable, you need to enable it.
Also try this: download and install AllShare app for PC (yes, the same as on phone). Make sure TV and PC are connected to the same network, and see if it works then.

My Panasonic Plasma has DLNA in the Viera tools... is there any way to share my note screen onto the tv without an accessory for the Note?
Not possible at the moment. Hdmi adapter or allshare cast dongle still needed.

AllShare is Samsung's branding for everything related to media sharing. You can output media to any DLNA device from within the stock video and audio player. An icon with what looks like a TV in motion appears when a device is available. It's how I connect to my HTC dongle. You can mirror the Note with Samsung's dongle but it's not necessary just for DLNA media output.

I think you can, depening on what you want to share.
I have the latest Samsung ES8000 TV but I almost never use Allshare. Instead I use the iMediaShare app (paied version)on the Note and S3.
With iMediaShare I can show albums, videos, play music to the tv.
But what I use most is submitting movies from a DLNA-disk connected to my router. When, with iMediaShare on the Note, I choose a movie on the DLNA-disk I want to see. IMediaShare lists up DLNA-devices including Local Android(The Note) and I can choose where I want to view the movie. If I choose the TV the movie will play, without showing the picture on the screen on the Note. But I can control start/stop, wind/rewind and sound volume from the Note.
For some reason, unknown to me, playing movies on the TV plays more formats than using Allshare on the TV. Serveral times I have experienced that Allshare on the TV says it can't play the format. But with iMediaShare most of them works fine.
And the funny thing is that I can power off the Note after starting playing a movie. The movie still plays on the TV.
So for people with a DNLA-enabled tv and the Note I would highly recommend you to try out iMediaShare (unpaied) from Google Play,
PS. My TV has 5Ghz WIFI and I have no lag or buffering problems playing BR-movies form the DLNA.disk.
I want to stream the image of the screen of my Galaxy S3 to my PC via DLNA. It's possible to stream screen to the TV with DLNA. Can I use some DLNA emulator on PC to receive screen video from my smartphone? I want to play games on the big screen.

It might be possible, if your TV/PC supports DLNA. e.g. SmartTV or OS with DLNA Support. BUT:
DLNA is imho just for playback. Playing games maybe laggy because screen-playback is buffered.
