So does this mean, now that we have root, we can replace the clock widget with the flip clock one? Can we just pull and push it?

Wasn't there already one on the market? I don't think we needed root to get the flip clock, it's just an app.
There's one on the market but it's not nearly as nice as the HTC version, i.e. doesn't have weather. I'd be interested in trying out the one with animations as well. Anybody know where to find it?

Yeah, i was talking about the HTC flip clock.
Ya i was just wondering this since we have root can we use the GSM hero flip clock. I was really sad when i saw our CDMA Hero's didnt have it.

Thats strange, I swore I saw that animated clock on my Sprint hero when I first got it (but removed it because I dont want a clock on my homepage). I guess it was just the other animated dial clock then?

i have no idea im a total noob on all this it took me two and a half days to fig out how to root and flash the rom but im trying to get the hang of this
yeah, im new to it(Root&Android) to.. but not hacking in general.
im thinking it should be that hard

did you try either of these yet ...i got one from the other hero forum here on xda but it wont let me install it on my phone says cannot install on thsi phone and then a force close on my astrozip app

Anybody wanting the Sense Live Wallpaper I found this in the Nexus forums. Says can be used over any Nexus ROM. Maybe somebody can port it over?

yeah i started a thread about that yesterday actually and have been trying to get it to run. just force closes. i got it to set but as soon as i do anything it crashes and puts my phone into a perpetual reboot and i have to nandroid...i think darchstar is working on it also as well as zenulator

It's just a zip. Push it to /data/local/bootanimation.zip or /system/media/bootanimation.zip

Some dev in the market turned the nexus boot animation into a lwp, if you were to email him with a link to this thread, then he/she might be able to do it. It's a free app and in the top free section, but my phone is being tortured with experiments, so I can't check the name right now.

It works fine, and the size settings work, it's just skips slightly at the end, but it still works for it's comedic value.
Hey, Vibrant user here. I found out that the Captivate has a live wallpaper called Galaxy. Unfortunately, this isn't on the Vibrant. Does anyone know of any way I could get this wallpaper on my phone?

I can upload the .apk that contains all of the live wallpapers the Captivate comes with if that would help.

I think if you were to do this, you would need to uninstall your live wallpapers app. I'm not entirely sure how safe that is, but I can still provide you with the apk. I'm uploading it now. I'll update once it's done.

Anyone use the live wallpaper from Weather Bug Elite? If so does your center correctly on your location? Mine's centered west about a state or so.
yeah, tried it last night a s a matter of fact, it will not center at all, mine is one state off..dunno why, maybe they will fix it...I hope so, i would use it if so
