I have broken my Skyrocket Screen,
Please refer me some links who will fix it for cheaper, i am in chicago and i have tried couple of sites they are charging about $180 for that,
Is there any cheaper way to get it fixed.

Guys, if you were on the fence about buying, at full price, an Infuse, AT&T is listing them for $450 online and in-store. That means stores like Best Buy have to sell them the same price through their price-matching policy.
Best buy will only price match if they are selling it for that price at an AT&T store. If it's an online only deal they won't match it.

It is that price in-store.
I found 2 on craigslist for $300. Both were in like-new condition. There are deals out there, you just have to be patient and find them.

Are you kidding me? I did post in the General forum that i dropped my phone a couple of days ago and ask any feedbacks from anyone who dropped their phone and fixed it. But everyone told me that if i try fixing it, its best to get a new one. Thats why I said 100 cause i know much it cost to fix it. If i just add another line to my plan it wont be more then trying to fix it.

I'm purchasing a Nexus One, the phone has a shattered screen I just want to see if I could get a good screen. Basically I checked Amazon their in the price range of $20. I'm looking for a reliable one. Also how is the process? Easy, Difficult? Thanks.

Its not that hard compared to the HD2. I found it quite easy actually. Look around on the tube, there are a lot of DIY videos for instructions. I bought mine off of eBay for around 25$. Good Luck!!

I recently dropped my phone and the screen cracked. I was looking on ebay for a digitizer and I tried asking the sellers about it but they don't speak english and couldn't answer my questions.
Do I have to buy a certain one? I know theres an AMOLED nexus and a SLCD nexus. Does it matter? I've found a few decent looking ones, but I'm a bit iffy about which one to buy. I see the OP had a successful run, maybe you could point me in the right direction?
Any help would be great!
Digitizers are the same with both the AMOLED and SLCD screens.
I almost bought one of these but was afraid of the install. If its really that easy I may get the cash to do it. Wish I could find a n1 for $50 i'd fix and give it to my girlfriend.
It isn't the easiest thing. Have a look through the youtube tutorials before you decide to pull your phone apart.
got one from ebay. came from hong-kong. followed a video tutorial on youtube and it took me +- 1 hour. not the easiest thing but doable.
I cracked the screen on my phone. I'm looking for someone who may have a LG G2X they would want to sell or another t-mobile smartphone they would get rid of cheap.

I looked at some of the videos on how to repair the screen. looks kinda difficult.Unless someone knows a good video the ones I have seen are not real clear.
It's really not all that difficult. Alongside the large numbers of repair videos, I think you'll be just fine.
Buying a digitizer with the frame is very preferable.
My friend gave me her phone because it has a cracked LCD.. what happened is she left it on top of her car, drove off and then it fell off.. and then a different car ran it over. Lol but the glass looks to be in perfect condition! My question is, where can I find a replacement screen for a decent price? I've googled around and the best price I could find for a new screen was $80 and for me its just not worth it to get it working for that price.

Looks like a good place to get some repair parts bet they're wanting $135 for LCD+digitizer repair service. Doesn't look like I can get the LCD sent in by itself for me to repair it for a lower rate. Any other ideas? Thanks for the help

Check out Ebay under Samsung Galaxy S Captivate. Numerous "broken" Cappys there at low bids; some of them will have what you need if you can disassemble correctly.

80$ is a fairly good price.
I changed mine for about 100$ a couple months ago
Need to replace my tabs screen as it has cracks and it's shattered in one of the corners. So far the tab still works but I want to fix it if possible. Anyone know where I can find a replacement screen? Is it easy to replace? Or is there anywhere I can send it to get it fixed at a reasonable price? Don't feel like buying a new device, wanting to eventually get the Note 3, due to a tight budget. Thanks in advance for the help and suggestions.
You might look on ebay for a broken one with a good screen you could salvage.

Seems like an option except that that's a Verizon model, and it does not have the headset cutout for the phone. My tab is the international model with he built in phone option..
