Mount USB not working in recovery - HTC Pico (Explorer)

Hi ,
since yesterday im facing atrange problem i want to reflash my ROM (CM9) but when i try to add zip in SD card by attaching phone to laptop , and turn on the mass storage in CM9 , the SD card drive doesnt appear in laptop also when i try to mount usb in recovery it doesnt appear sd in laptop.
What should i do ?

Maybe the laptop doesn't have drivers or you can try reflashing recovery, anyway you are on laptop so it should have a card reader just put sd in it

Blank SD Card?

I am running Stock TMOUS Stock Rom and like 2 days ago. My 16GB microSD Card randomly from working to "Blank SD Card' and when I try to format it on the phone, it says 'External Media in Unknown State' when I connect it to my card readers, and into the computer, it doesn't even find it inserted but the card readers work with other Micro SD cards. Can someone help me? Other microSD cards work in my phone, but not my usual 16GB one...help?

Ok, I had this problem as well l. Just get an old phone which can fit microsd cards in and it will format it.

It looks like your sd card is corrupted. I would suggest using SD Formatter : it is a good tool for fixing corrupted sd cards and gives you lots of options.

It wont work on the sensation but it worked for me on an old phone about 5 years old minimum. Its worked for my friends as well..... otherwise if you couldn't do it this way or via computer then it wont be able to format, must be something else wrong with it, a good excuse to order a larger one as I see it

insert it in a pc then
right click on my computer icon>>Manage
locate the "Storage" tab then "Disk Management"
here u can see all the details of ur SD Card and can Format it
i have an old HTC HD2 with android too, should I try it on that?

No, you can just use an old phone that can handle a microsd and it can do it for you. My friend did it through his five year old phone.

I'll have to find a super old phone, for the time being, I'm using an 8GB Card in it

Have you tried to format it from recovery? Might do the trick.

connect your phone to computer, Toggle USB mode in 4EXT Recovery, and your phone will act as a microSD card reader. You can do anything you want from there. =)

If the card cannot be mounted, both of these won't work.
Your best bet is to use a card reader & try different methods of connecting.
First put the SD Card in & then connect card reader, first connect card reader then put SD Card in, etc.
Usually, even a corrupted SD Card shows up on a PC.
If it does, use the format option. If "Windows was unable to format the drive", then go to Disk Management & format it from there.
If the PC is unable to detect it, then it's some kind of hardware fault & to the best of my knowledge, nothing will be able to fix that. All you can do is try wiping the contacts if they are dirty, but I doubt that would cause such a problem.
it will still work even if SD card cannot be mount.
Juopunutbear's S-OFF method sort of corrupted my SD card and i used Toggle USB mode method to format my SD card

A corrupted SD Card can still be mounted.
If the SD Card cannot be mounted in recovery, there is no question of trying to Toggle USB Storage or formatting it.
His case seems different.
wow i recover my files
hi guys, i had same problem, but then i set this sandisk ultra to my nokia xpress music and there was everything,,, my arc s cant open it anymore but nokia opens... try to reset your sd s to others phone...
I use 4EXT for my loader. If you have another loader you can try on that as well, boot into Recovery Mode and try to format the SD Card for there. 4EXT formatted my SD Card even though it couldn't mount it. Then it worked just fine.

SD Card Partitioning Issue.

I keep getting errors when trying to partition my SD for use with Link2SD. Sometimes the computer won't create the partition, and then when it does, my phone won't mount the SD card in general. I'm getting kind of annoyed, hahah. Help?
Also, my computer's card reader is busted so I have to do it through USB mass storage mode. I'm running Bobzhome's ICS CM9 ROM which I flashed yesterday, and before that I had Harmonia 2.09.

Copy your data to pc.
Format your card and try partitioning through recovery.. simple!
It's been solved. My phone obviously hates CM9, so I went back to CM7 w/harmonia and everything is perfect again.

ROM has nothing to do with your partition problem.
You can still use CM9 without any partition. If you have issues with USB mass storage on CM9.
Install latest USB drivers in pc.. it'il work!!

[Q] Usb Mass Storage Leaving this menu unmount...

Hi everybody, i am a new member (a noob) so i really need your help. I am using a Samsung Galaxy Wonder GT-I8150, i rooted it and flashed the cm9 rom using cmw recovery 5. It could be something as simple as your SD card being not properly inserted into the slot - maybe because you accidentally dropped it. Try opening the phone's back and removing the SD card and then reinserting it. make sure it properly sits in its slot. If the problem still persists, wait for someone with better knowledge to come along.

[Q] Can't mount MicroSD card

After deleting one photo from my phone's 32 gb samsung class 10 micro sd card, it suddenly unmounted, and i was not able to mount it again. Also i was not able to mount it to my netbook(win xp), or my workspace computer(linux mint) with micro sd card adapter.
Is there any way to mount it, to repair it, or at least to save the pictures from it?
Looks like the Card got corrupted or damaged. If at least your PC detects the card, you could have use recovery software.
Try if any card reader can detect ur sdcard to pc,, and if detect u can try to format it,,

Yes, i tried it, but it not works, recovery also can't mount the microsd card
I am still looking for solutions to recover my data from the card but found nothing.
Looks like your card is corrupted. If you can't get your PC/Lappy to recognize it then you're out of options methinks.
BUT, make absolutely sure that there are no lock switches on the adapter or the SD card which are actually preventing access to the card.

Panic Mode Bricked Tablet

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 I think i broke it.
I tried installing a custom rom but, I didn't have a backup and I deleted everything on the device so I dont have a rom to load.
I have CWM and whenever I reboot it takes me there.
Is there a way to install a rom from the computer? Please I really need help.
I have been trying and searching for 12 hours no help please I don't know where to turn please help.
Copy a ROM installer zip to your external SD card using your computer and a card reader. If you don't have an external SD card either get one, or read up on running the adb push command from terminal on your computer and properly push a ROM installer to the internal SD using said command.

@shakatu is correct. External SD will save the day. You can also try downloading a ROM to your computer then plug your tab into the comp and through cwm you can mount as storage then transfer the ROM to your device and flash it. Aside from adb or just Odin back to stock these are your best and only options.
CWM>Mounts and storage>Mount USB Storage
