No its free. Just goes against ur GB cap. So if u only have 200mb, u should prolly not hotspot.

It is very much free. Just makes ur data go up of course. I have a 10gb cap until I'm throttled but I never go over anyway

It's really not free... Your phone needs a data plan.... Sensation has it built in which makes it easy.

Then its on hspa+, not that the speeds of H+ are all that great. At most on a good day you will get 7mb down 2mb up. Normally much lower though.

Hspda is high speed data packet access. Which is 3.5 g. They really shouldnt refer to it as 4g but they do.

High speed upload packet access. It gives upload speeds of 5mb or more. And umts is Universal Mobile Telecommunications System which is also third generation 3g. I've only seen my phone switch to it a few times.
