Mysterious issue with gs3 & silent mode - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

Strange issue I can't figure out. I use Google voice & give that our to everyone to call me. When my daughter calls me, I have it set to ring all my phones (house, cell, office). Regardless of which phone I pick up when she calls, my S3 puts itself in silent mode right after!!! I'm clueless here! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

[Q] Video call?

I was playing with my cousins phone in South America (I have the verizon s3 in the US), and she had the option to do video calling. As far as she knows she didn't install anything new. I attached a picture of the video call icon. What do you have to do to get that?
Thanks.
Our us versions don't have that, we have 3rd party apps that work, tango,Skype,etc...seems like the international one.

[Q] Phone/Data Signal Issues?

I am sorry if this question is asked a lot...I did look back several pages and didn't find too many answers, except some additional complaints. I was originally going to get the S3 but I kept hearing people talk about bad signal and bad phone reception so chickened out and got the Razr Maxx HD. Truthfully I really do like it...but I am itching to root and play and with the root counter qe thing and the crappy camera (I take lots of pictures of my kids) I am starting to think that it isn't the phone for me so I am considering trading it back for the S3. I use my phone for work a lot though and definitely need a dependable signal for both voice and data.
All of the people in town (Phoenix) I have talked to say they never have any issues, but before dropping the hammer I wanted to ask the XDA community as it was always helpful with my Thunderbolt.
If there is a good thread available that I missed please feel free to chide me and redirect me to it
Thanks in advance!

Oops...sorry...was bouncing back and forth between forums and hit the wrong one. Thanks for moving it!
Surprisingly, I actually live in Phoenix and to be honest, I have had no problem with signal, besides some areas where no phone has service. But besides that I usually always have a 4g signal and 2,3,or 4 bars.

Making a new Multitasking Menu?

Do you think that it is theoretically possible to set something up like this? http://gizmodo.com/5992302/the-next-ios-needs-to-look-like-this
I don't know if it's possible but would be sweet to see something like this.
That seems similar to the sense switcher available on Jelly 'Beans'.

MMS Issues?

Anyone else having issues sending/receiving MMS? Just started today, phone is stock.
I've had issues since phone was purchased....its not a software issue from what I have read...and doesn't do it all of the time...if I'm at home and using WiFi its usually worse...have to turn on airplane mode and then off...for text to go out....if signal is weak problem is worse also
