I have a hdfc easyshop international debit card. No matter what i do, i cant purchase a app from play store as google wallet doesn't accept it.
I have tried using netSafe(virtual card) service but it too doesn't work as i think google wallet first tries to add it to itself before placing the order. So, the virtual card is already accessed once and when order is placed, it does not work as virtual card can only be used once.
Same thing happened while i was creating developers account at play store. After many tries though i was able to create it by using netSafe service because there was some option there by which i think payment was done directly instead of through google wallet.
Any idea what i can do?

Guess you can only use an International Debit/Credit card to buy any apps from Google Play & that too via Google wallet.
Just for the record...i was able to buy apps using my HDFC Bank International Credit Card.

Currently, I am using Entropay. This is a virtual credit card service.
But you have to pay 4.95 % extra fee while recharging the card.

This worked for me!
You can buy anything from Google Play Store, if you are in India. Its simple. By creating a Virtual Credit Card from a well known Virtual Card generation site named, Entropay. They offer an online service for creating virtual credit cards, as it is completely safe and secure. Its very easy as you just have to fill in your details and add minimum $5 in it using any debit/credit card. And your virtual credit card is ready in minutes. It is safe as our Debit Card Secure page of our Bank shows up to punch in the password, just as how we use to pay in Indian Online Debit Card purchases.
I think most of the debit cards work with Entropay, as long as you have made any debit card online purchases with-in India. In my case, I just used a VISA card from IOB and it has International Debit Card printed on it and was able to Add Cash to my Entropay account with this card. I also tried and couldn't use this card directly with PayPal or Google Play Store and they rejected this card.
Then go to Google Wallet, add the Virtual Card details in the Payment Methods page and you're done. EntroPay takes in 4% extra from the amount you are adding, as their fee towards creating a Virtual Card for you and for this magic to happen. I think you could also pay anywhere using this Virtual Card, as they are based in UK and support all online retailers all over the world.
Note:
1) Currency conversion also happens in the mean time while you transfer funds from you Debit Card to Entropay. So there could be slight variations from how much they deduct from your Debit Card according to Dollar rates.
2) Once you add the equivalent funds to your Entropay Virtual Card, in any case you want it in back into your source bank account, you should file them a withdrawal request to do so, also some fees for that is incurred. So plan wisely on what amount you are trying to add cash to purchase.

No SBI virtual card also doesn't works because it can be used only once and Google use that one time for registration!!

U could register on entropay.com for a virtual card...deposit a minimum of $5 from ur debit card...and make payments in the Play Storr

(Using VPN) Install Angry Birds Rio on Amazon, outside US

This is how I successfully installed and run Angry Birds Rio, from the Amazon App Store.
Register an Amazon account
Fill in a US address, just look for one on the web (may warn you of invalid format but not hard to get through)
Enable 1-click purchase
Add a credit card for payment, I used an AE number (a generated one... LOL)
Download the Amazon App Store APK file => amzn.to/getappstore
Connect to a free US VPN (passwords renew every 30 mins) => goo.gl/3yRU
Fill in the CAPTCHA and use the bottom 2 servers (for Android)
Launch Amazone App Store
GET the Angry Birds Rio
BOOM!
Sorry about the links but I do not have permission to post external links
If u have it can't you just backup the apk and post on here?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
1st, posting warez violates forum rules
2nd, it seems to check your Amazon purchase record when you play the game, as reported by someone else in HTC forum that they can only grab likes 30 secs to play before timeout, LOL
Angry Birds Rio for Android, exclusive to the Amazon Android appstore is FREE for today only to commemorate the Amazon Appstore's launch. So technically not yet considered as warez. It's also worth mentioning that they're giving away 1 paid app a day.
EDIT: I guess the day is over for them, there's another new app that's free for today (World Series Online Poker: Holde'm Legend) but you can still check if you can get Angry Birds Rio...it still says free on my Appstore.
EDIT2: I actually think this is a loophole in their system. So it might get fixed soon!
Anyway, there's a simpler way. I have it, I'm from the Philippines, and I've played through the first 10 or so rounds with no signs of being kicked out or anything. Just needed a break...
Anyhow, here's what I did. I'm not sure exactly what combination of actions worked so I'll just say everything here. Make sure your phone's on wifi or whatever.
1. (PHONE) Get the Market Access app (which allows me to buy from the Android Market when normally app purchases are not allowed for my region) - just Google Android Market Access..it should be one of the first links. It's free. Download and install it on your phone.
EDIT: Market Access app here: http://amip.tools-for.net/wiki/android/marketaccess
2. (PHONE) Set Market Access to emulate the T-Mobile USA sim (does not effect anything, no worries..you can still text and call etc.)
3. (COMPUTER) Download the Amazon Appstore app via the Amazon website's Appstore page. You have to give your e-mail address.
Amazon Appstore page: http://www.amazon.com/mobile-apps/b/ref=sa_menu_adr_app1?ie=UTF8&node=2350149011

}
4. (COMPUTER) Amazon will send you the download link. You can download it via your phone or to your computer then just transfer it over. I did the latter.
5. (PHONE) Install the Amazon Appstore App with the apk you just downloaded
6. (COMPUTER) If you don't have an Amazon account yet, sign up for one and attach a credit card and billing/shipping address to it (NOT SURE if this is needed, I just happen to already have those things..but you do need an Amazon account~)
7. (PHONE) Navigate to the free app you're trying to get. Try to download it and you'll be told that you need to enable One-Click...Just continue to activate it (it will open up Amazon's website on your phone's web browser) you'll be told to log-in to Amazon, then select the payment method (credit card you linked to Amazon) as well as the billing/shipping address after that you would have already enabled One-Click.
8. (COMPUTER) Sign in to Amazon and then navigate to the app you want from the Amazon Appstore WEBSITE. If you try to grab the app you want from the Amazon Appstore app on your phone you'll keep getting the not available in your region blah message.
9. (COMPUTER) Now once you're in the page of the app you want, you should see in the right side a button that says "Get Now with 1-Click" and underneath that you should see the model of your phone displayed (which confirms your phone is now linked to the Amazon Appstore)
10. (COMPUTER) You will be taken to the next page saying you now own that particular app and to check the Amazon Appstore app on your phone for the download. You would have also received an e-mail form Amazon confirming your order.
11. (PHONE) On the Appstore app, press the menu button (for my SGS, I dunno what it's called in other phones) then select "My Apps" it will say "Checking for new apps" or something on the bottom and after a few seconds you should now see "1 app to download and install" and just click install and see your app being downloaded! After the download finishes, it will take you to the install prompt as with normal side-loaded apk installs where you confirm you want to install.
Tada! You can get apps from the Amazon Appstore from anywhere! I haven't tried it with paid apps. But I've already downloaded WSOP and Angry Birds Rio and successfully installed both and have gotten to play both with no problems.
Sorry I don't have screens for everything since I already went through the enabling process which is a one time only thing~
ENJOY!
At step 10 I get told that the app store isn't available in my region, were the address details you entered previously for the US or somewhere else?

I used my Philippine address. Hmm..that's weird.. so like when you click "get now with 1-click" it gives you that message?
I've downloaded a 3rd free app just now with no problems..What app are you trying to get? Angry Birds?
Edit: Amazon apparently is making use of my US billing address which I also happen to have even if I'm in the Philippines (upon checking the emails from them about my order) even if it's not the one associated to my one-click settings..so I guess you ought to try finding a random US address and associating it to your Amazon account. I deleted the address to see if I can still download stuff and apparently I still can but it still sees my US address as my billing address..
workaround
Apparently Amazon checks the credit card information
"At this time, we are unable to offer the Amazon Appstore for Android and associated apps to our international customers.
To successfully purchase digital content from Amazon Appstore for Android, the 1-Click payment method listed on the Your Account page must be a credit or debit card issued by a U.S. Bank with a U.S. billing address."
So if you intend to "buy" only free apps you can do so by generating fake id and credit card information. It worked for me. I used this website : h_t_t_p://fakenamegenerator.com/gen-male-us-us.php (sorry i'm new, tells me i can't post links)
Sounds like a giant pain in the ass for a freakin game

Play Store vulnerability.

I recently was thinking about something, I decided to test it out.
On the Play Store app, you can choose to add a pin number, and make this pin be required to make purchases.
This is a good idea, as we don't want anyone charging our credit cards or carrier bills if our device gets lost/stolen.
However, there is a flaw in this. The aforementioned pin number is stored locally on the device, whilst the credit card info is connected to your google account, and obviously your carrier billing options are stored online.
All someone has to do to be able to make purchases on a supposed secure play store is go to Settings>Applications>All>Google Play Store and click clear data. No more pin.

The fix to this would obviously be that google have the pin be connected to your google account, instead of stored locally on the device.

Good find man! Definitely opens up my eyes, as my little brother has a phone with my google account on it, because of all the apps I've bought-en, and I enabled the pin feature on it.
Wow... way to drop the ball on that one google!!!
Yeah. Not sure they've ever thought of it or not.

What?I haven't made any purchases yet, but my friends come to me on some days and they could buy paid apps. This must be fixed soon.
I notice this a lot when I update my ROM. Because it doesn't come packaged with gapps (well it wouldn't, it's illegal to do that), the data gets cleared when you reinstall the play store, thus no more pin. As I update daily, I never have the pin for more than one day, which is a major security flaw IMO

Thanks guys, added that in a comment on the google code page.
Actually, I believe that function is more of a "Child Lock". The screen lock/wipe is supposedly what prevents stolen phones from being used. In most cases, someone that usually knows your password (Of course, adb enabled phones can have their screen lock disabled). That's usually your kids that use your phone for games, watching videos, etc. That's what the pin is for - blocking them from downloading paid stuff without your knowledge. I suppose Google doesn't think that they would be the ones who will be hacking your phone, and of course, not be the ones who steal your phone.
Just added a link to the google support issue page in a few of my newer videos, and in a few of my most popular videos!

[GUIDE] Faking US Play Store without Market Unlocker or *ROOT*

Now before I begin, most of you had lost the ability to use Market Enabler/Unlocker due to the recent update on Google Servers which now upon purchase tracks down your actual location and ties down your account to your location.
So here's the deal on how to get it back. Without rooting. Without any Unlocker.
Requirements-
- 2 Android Phones.
- VPN (TunnelBear or HotspotShield)
- Patience
Now before you jump into conclusions, that "OH VPN" Just remember, that when you get off the VPN, Exit PlayStore and open it again, it re-asks you to "Accept" terms which brings you back to your local playstore. Boohoo. Here's proof on my side at the end of this post.
Instructions
Phone #1
- Open Play, Download the app called TunnelBear VPN
- Clear Market Cache/Data after Download
- Register with TunnelBear/Hotspot VPN and connect to it.
*Make sure you are connected and are receiving packets!*
- Open Play, Accept the terms and you will now be greeted with the ever so friendly US Play store as shown below. (Refer to Image #1)
- Once accepted, tab out and back in to make sure it sticks without exiting, do not exit the app via Multi window!
Phone #2
- Clear Cache/Data on Android phone #2
- Open Play *Without connecting to VPN*
*This time, it will ask you to accept terms, but lead you to the US Play Store*
Phone #1
- Disconnect from the VPN from Android #1 used and tab back to Play.
For those who doubt my location, refer to Image #2
Finally, to prove that this works, I have loaded Play on all my devices (Cleared Data/Cache for devices that were not used in this setup) and without the use of any VPN they all loaded Play US Store. (Refer to Image#3 and #4)
Explanation
If you own a device or more that share the same account such as, Phone#1 and Phone#2 share the account you use for Purchase (To share paid apps between devices) Google servers check with each device
eg: Phone #1 location = US, Proceed. Welcome to US Play. Disconnect VPN
Phone #2 location = <Your country>, Check Phone #1 <VPN Disconnected already>, Location ≠ US, resend Terms Policy. Reset.
And yes they can determine your carrier and location without you knowing, When you install an app via Play it shows under devices as
{

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
But if you had faked initial Device #1 and accepted, then accepted via Device #2, it check's back with Device #1, Since Device#1 says US, it proceeds with what permission was granted first to the gmail account <US Play Permission due to VPN>.

Here's something I tried that works.
1- Install Hotspotshield app or any other VPN
2- Open Play Store. Now you should be in U.S Store
3- Find an app you want to download / purchase
4- Start the download and just as it begins to download cancel it.
5- Now it should be in the 'My Apps' list under 'All' and you can download it without VPN at any time.
The benefit is that VPN can really slow down your connection especially when downloading bigger apps.
I used this VPN method several months.
But now it seems that Google bound my account to my REAL country. I can't make it work any more.
To show you that my account is bound I give you an example: accessing playstore my PC.
I activate my US VPN.
I browse to play.google.com. (not logged in in Google Account). I can see all US playstore content.
BUT: when I login into my account (with VPN activated) I only can see the playstore content of my REAL country.
I already delete all my billing addresses etc. Sadly this didn't help.
Any idea how to fix that?

You tap and pay.
But seriously: did the Starbucks have a PayPass terminal? It should look something like below. If so, what happened when you tapped it?

No, they didn't. It was similar to that, but it was more of a bar code scanner.

I'll have to try it here in New Zealand next time I see one if those payment options and see if it works.

Google wallet is US only. You would need another app that takes advantage of NFC and tap to pay.

Sorry I don't know of any. I would assume that at some point there will be more digital wallets utilizing nfc. I would be really suprised if PayPal doesn't get in the game really soon.
To pay at Starbucks you need their mobile app which has a barcode that will scan at their scanner, I use it all the time. You an connect a gift card to the mobile app and then have that gift card auto reloaded by your credit card.
Try & checkout your local McD's to see they are participating and/or rolling out the pilot program, namely ISIS Mobile Payment system - details here - http://nrn.com/blog/what-they-didnt-tell-you-about-mcdonalds-mobile-payments-trials
I do recall seeing a similar terminal (didn't pay much attention to details) recently at the local McD while getting coffee in the morning - next to thte cash register, not sure if it was functional.
I suppose the demographic profiles of the junk-food consumer going to Golden Arches are more aligned with using smartphones like N5 with NFC enabled, oookkkaaayyy.

I love McDonalds as well... but it doesn't help my stomach :crying:
I was at Jack in the Box last week when I looked down and saw the "sideways wifi symbol" of PayPass. I had already setup Wallet on my phone so I gave it a try. It worked great. I tapped, my phone asked me for my pin, and then a few seconds later a receipt for my meal popped up on my phone. Later that night I tried at the CVS. I had read somewhere that if you are asked for a option (debit, credit....) choose credit. That is what I did at the CVS and all was well.
I am not sure how useful paying with Google Wallet is, but it sure was fun. The Jack in the Box lady told me I was only the 2nd person she saw pay like that...... trend setter and all

How to use Android Pay in Germany?

Hi,
i need your help!
I'm using android pay in Germany. Because it's not officially I had to create a account Bank account in Ireland.
Now I bought a huawai watch 2, in hope I can use android pay with my watch.
My problem is, that I can't find the android pay on my watch. On German play store android pay is not available.
How I can install the app on my watch?
(Sorry for my bad english)
I have app in app list of installed app in my mobile. I installed by watch. But now I must change my bank.
I live in Sweden and still no android pay here. Only Samsung Pay and Apple pay so far...
Managed to get it on my watch, but unfortunately I just applied for a KBC Account so it'll take a while until I can report you about my findings.
I've got it after forcing my watch to use my phones internet connection which was connected via vpn.

... überall wo man kontaktlos zahlen kann.
Google Pay comes already preinstalled on the Watch 2 but it's disabled by default outside of selected countries.
To enable it, you need to create a second Google account on your phone with a billing address in e.g. the UK.
Once that's done, use the wearOS app to copy your new Google account onto the watch.
Then, on your watch, open Google Play, swipe down and select your UK account from the menu. Now search for Google Pay and enable the app.
The app will appear in the menu and you can bind it to the secondary key if you want. Make sure to use your real account in Google Pay to add your cards so the bank doesn't decline due to a wrong address.
Do i need to keep the active account on UK? Or does google pay disable if a switch to my own account?
You need to keep it on your watch but you can continue to use your regular account instead.
There is no way around for this?
I already have a us account on my watch and the app works ok but every time i need it i have to enable it again. This is very absurd.
There is no apk modification to prevent it to disable or something?
Google pay on the watch was disabled in Ireland some time ago as it was never officially available. The workaround i've been using is to install "Pay Enabler" from the app store and set the hardware button on the watch to launch it, works well enough.

To use Google Pay on your watch, you need to:
Be in the US, UK, Italy, Spain, Australia, Canada, Poland, Russia, or Germany.
Use a supported watch. Google Pay is already installed on supported watches. To see if your device is supported, check the list of apps on your watch.
Use a supported card.

You can always order Revolut card and use it for daily payments.
