[Q] OTA stopped after SU root

Hi,
I'm new on this forum, Guys i have got a small issue after SU root on my Galaxy TAB 2 P3100, OTA have stopped working now my device won't lok-up for OTA update . I have successfully installed Ver. 4.1.1 but want OT to work ANY help will be appreciated.

Seems you installed the 4.1.1 which isn't from your country, did you?
I can't search for ota too because i flashed the one for uk. But it doesn't matter if there is a update available you can download it on sammobile and flash it with odin.

[Q] Need help on rooted galaxy s4 i9500 with OTA

Hello everyone, i am new to xda and need help with my rooted samsung galaxy s4 i9500 running android 4.4.2 with build number I9500XXUFNG1 and phone status says CUSTOM, i live in India
i rooted my s4 using chainfire auto root a few months back and also installed cwm, both using odin.. and since then i have flashed aicp 4.4.4 rom and then got back to the stock rom using the backup i created by cwm beofre flashing the rom
last night i got an ota update of 112mb saying it'll update knox from v1.0 to 2.0 and my phone auto downloaded it although i havent installed it yet
so my question is, should i update my phone, let the update install, would it do any harm knowing it is rooted ? would i brick my phone if i install the update ? would i lose root access if i update ? what is the way out ? should i un root my phone and then install the update and then re root again ? since my phone is rooted, it shouldnt receive ota update than why have i received one ? what are my options ? plz help me out..any kinda help will be appreciated...! thanks a mil..!

[Q] galaxy s5 firmware problem NEED HELP!!

Hi developers! I really need ur help im having s5 (g900f)
android version : 4.4.2
Build number : KOT49H.G900FZHU1ANI2
(Which is the hk model)
Every game with obb i downloaded from the browser (non play store apps) donot works
I have downloaded and tried ○asphalt 8 &○gta sa
When i run the games, the close and an error comes "UNFORTUNATELY GTA:SA HAS STOPPED) I downloaded from different sites used diffrent apk's but still the same problems
i also did a factory reset 2 times but still the same error
i tried to root it by towelroot but its not supported by the app
Please help me how to solve this and im afraid that the cf auto root via odin will brick my device pls help me guys how to root it
And please also tell me that flashing another firmware will solve the problem? If yes than how to flash it ? NEED HELP i paid so much but im getting nothing

OK on May 7 I upgraded my Samsung galaxy s4 i545 to lollipop the official firmware on sammobil.com.
but then my messenging app won't send and my phone glitches and it's annoying I tried downgradin back to firmware 4.4.2 NK1 but couldn't I kept getting an error message on odin saying write fail and authentication fail.I couldn't find a way to root,so I can use flashfire to downgrade,if anyone can help me I will be greatfull.
Also the root process I'm not using no Chinese apps no kingoroot.com or anything that can look into my phones information.

Please make sure you clear data, clear cache and dalvik cache and then flash the ROM!! I also had same problem, clearing data and other things saved my day

I am not rooted can't root I don't know how to install cwm recovery,and my phone is i545VRUGOC1.

Is their a way to root I545VRUGOC1 please if you find a way reply please.

Downgrade your firmware with Odin flash tool, Google for details

I can't I can only use firmware 5.0.1 I can't downgrade, it always says write operation failed to auth fail.I need help I can't text it always has an errorr I tried everyway.reset,remove Sim and back,wipe cach and data, restart the phone,changed the apn settings.

MISTAKE

Root for Samsung Grand Prime SM-G530AZ Lollipop 5.1.1

Hello,
I have searched all of over the internet for my phones root with no success whatsoever.
- Kingroot does work on the phone but when I reboot my phone it looks up my bootloader and tells me that I have flashed an unauthorised rom and that I should contact cricket. I then had to flash the stock rom with kies.
- I have tried to flash all sorts of recoveries including TWRP and CWM recoveries. It just gives me a fail and on my phone it says "Secure Check Fail: Recovery".
Please help make a root for my phone.

If I were you I would not update because there are no ways to root the phone, at least, I have not found anyway. And the update is through kies 3. But if kies does not give you the update then that is great for all of us on this form. http://teamcspire.com/index.php?/to...s-for-return-to-stock-tarmd5-for-use-in-odin/
Go to this website and please extract the software from kies 3 so that all of us can use it to downgrade from 5.1.1 to 4.4.4. if that's the situation. Please reply if you run into any trouble because I have already done this for the firmware 5.1.1. and I know how to do it.
