small question, hopefully in the right spot, if not i apologize for putting my question in the wrong section.
I have baseball superstars 2013 and I cant run the app unless I update it. I used TB and backed it up and upgraded and I lost all my stuff so I restored the old version. Problem is that I have to turn off my mobile network and or wifi when I want to play the app or an annoying "you must upgrade your app to play" screen comes up telling me to either upgrade or exit the app. Is there any way to block this so it doesnt check for the upgrade and I can just continue to play the app as I normally would?
Thanks guys

Try Qtext. It does exactly what you want.
I like Tasker. Not only will it do what you want but also lots of other things you would wnt to automate. It takes a little bit of patience to learn but stick with it because it is worth it.
Do you mean tasker by crafty? Currently I am currently using smart receiver and it works exactly what I need.

I would go with with QText ($2.99) or Tasker ($6.49).
There are trials of both.
Hey Muffin, I haven't tried tasker but I did tried trial version of qtext.. But I can say it's very bad and it force closes on my Samsung s2

Hi everyone.
I'm on clean rom 4.5 best rom ever!
I need to use the bank of America Merchant app. But as soon as I lunch the app it says "this app won't work on rooted phone", and it kicks me out of the app. Is there any way to make the app to think that I'm not rooted?
Thank you. I

Wow, seriously? Mine doesn't give an error message but crashes when trying to photograph a check. Actually causes the phone to reboot.
On Trickdroid 8.1 Rom
EDIT: The problem was due to an incompatible kernel upgrade that I did. After downgrading to the previous kernel, the app and camera work fine.

I'm using same ROM (ClearROM 4.5); after reading your post i tried it and so far I can login and look at accounts; I haven't tried any check deposits but I'm really not sure why you have this weird message.
I'm trying to use mobile pay to charge my customers credit card.

Does anyone know how to make an application that will not allow Facebook to be installed? I might be interested in purchasing an application like this or making 1

If you don't want a particular app then don't install it. There's probably no way to block installation of a given app.

What he said. Is there a particular reason you want to block the installation of Facebook?
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda premium
Though if you had a vendetta (and a rooted phone), you could always just put a Facebook catch-all into your hosts file to black-hole attempts to reach them. Wouldn't stop the app, would stop it from ever actually working and any website connecting there.
I think you would need to sign up for a MDM service. There a few of them out there and they should be able to either block apps from being installed or automatically uninstall it if it gets installed.

Haha sorry I was just kidding but also wondering. Yeah I know how to install apps or not. I was thinking of an app that you can download and then when you did want to download facebook it wouldn't let you. Its really just a joke brotherhood. I don't have a Facebook problem but I see one developing lol.

why would you need that?
Hi guys. Im not asking how to unblock a phone or change imei or anything. I was just wondering.... If your imei number gets blacklisted does the phone become inoperable or can you still play games on it. This question is purely out of curiosity. I just like to know stuff
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
You can still play games and even use Wi-Fi for internet access, just can't connect to the mobile network
Ah ok. You would think they would be able to pretty much disable it.
