Camera not working in cm-7-20130101-NIGHTLY - Samsung Galaxy Fit GT 5670

I have installed cm-7-20130101-NIGHTLY form get.cm
The camera app is not working from sometime. It opens camera occasionally or force closes every time. No other app like Google Goggles works because of this. Please help me if you can...

Don't ovrclk it above 748Mhz or u'll face such probs.
Well... try setting I/O scheduler to "vr" via *no frills* that might help u!!

[Q] HELP! Not Letting me Overclock !

so whenever i install a overclocking app such as set CPU, android overclock, tegra, etc... the apps just force close! i tried several roms and it does the same thing !
the only kernel that seems to work is the Trinity kernel i use it with pheonix blood rom. but i use the cyanogenmod overclock setting in the cyanogemod performance tab. for as the apps still fc. any idea why ?
Maybe fix permissions? If noy try flashing the latest faux kernel and running setcpu with it. Works great for me good luck
Making bad decision's one at a time.
It wasn't fix permissions I'm using miui rom right now and still get the force close :/

Have you tried using CPU master, worked for me when I was using miui, it could be an issue with your superuser.apk try setting the automatic response to "allow" in superuser->settings and see what happens. Good luck
It worked!!! Thank you

You can try out Camera360
The problem is from the kernel try flashing other kernels or you choose not to over clock alot that is NOT more than 600mhz that ll solve your problem.

I think you should root your phone first then install a custom kernel, then you can be guaranteed root then
You can do that technically, however it may cause some problems, though you have a point. I now feel the urge to test it when I have access to my computer

As far as I remember installing g3mod sets the governor to performance and speed to 800 mhz so it will heavily drain the battery

Do you know how to overclock using terminal emulator? If so you can work your way up to get echo 3 to 1300. But you need init.d support for this to work obviously lol and remember that not everyone can reach the same stable O'C as others. It varies with this device.

What did the oc zip set you to upon flashing it? I've always just either edited the o'c zip to my preferred o'c using root explorer and text editor, or by terminal emulator. And I use SetCPU to control it and set profiles.

Yea the oc zip actually underclocked you there Lol.
Using terminal emulator, type the following:
su
echo 3 1200 1398 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu
Then check too see that it shows 1200 in CPU master or whatever app you use. Use this method to test different overclock settings. Once you find a good stable speed, you can edit it using root explorer to stick on every boot.

You need to modify the contents of the overclock file in the initd folder.... that file was designed for people with only 1 ghz, and they lacked an echo.... add echo4 and modify use all the settings above, and then modify slowly from there if u wish to oc.... do not just add echo 4 you should replace all the clock speeds and voltages from above
