[Q] Help with getting my phone back to normal. - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

Hello,
First of all I'm new to this forum so Hello! second of all I'm also new to rooting and custom ROM's.
So today after 3 days of trying to unlock my HTC One X by htcdev.com i finally submitted my identifier token and i got the Unlock_code.bin
I downloaded Android Revolution HD 18.1, I also downloaded the CWM v5.8.4.0 and installed it on my phone.
After that i followed the instructions on how to install the Revolution HD 18.1, after doing all the steps on my phone it told me it was succesfully installed and i had to reboot the system. So i did it, then the part comes where i'm getting stuck. It was rebooting my htc , and it wouldn't go further then the opening screen HTC quietly brilliant it was stuck there. trying to put my phone on and off and on and off, same problem. Now i can only go in the bootloader menu and in recovery menu and thats it.
I did a lot of research on how to fix my problem, unfortunally nothing helped. (Maybe cuz I'm a noob and new to this)
Can someone please help me with this, i've been trying it all day now and i'm giving up the hope.
Some information at the hboot menu of my HTC one X

Hi Maikel this is the HTC OneXL for evita forum. You should be in the HTC onex forum for endeavor.
Sent from my HOX w/CM10.1

This forum is for the dual core LTE version of the One X (also known as the One XL) code named EVITA. You have the quad core version code named ENDEAVORU.
You want to be in this forum section: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1533
Its possible you just need to flash the boot.img using fastboot. But since your hardware is different from ours, we can't be sure. Head on over to the correct forum section for some proper help.

Xda noob - please help!!

HI,
I've been tampering with my HTC ONE XL on Telstra's network and didnt realise that the Tegra chipset had anything to do with how the software ran on the handset - basically, I've unlocked my bootloader via HTCDEV.com, however, couldnt flash a custom recovery.
So now the bootloader comes up, it says **tampered**
**unlocked**, but when i try to boot, it says that "This version of software is for development purpouses any unauthorised use of this is against the law" i can not seem to recover it anyway i have tried all of the methods that i can find on here. included getting the stock RUU and browsing in temp and finding the system.img and flashing through fastboot cmd.
Ive contacted a HTC rep who sent me the stock ROM but that still doesn't fix it.
Could someone give me some instructions on how I might me able to get it to boot, as there isnt a ONE XL thread on here.
I'm happy to donate some $$ via paypal too.
TIA.
JASAWR.
**EDIT**: Forgot to mention that I've been using the ONE X roms - which is why I made reference to the Tegra chipset above.
Bootloader has been unlocked successfully, but no recovery and no custom ROM - just a standard HTC logo with red writing "this build is for development purposes only, etc etc"
TIA

If your One X is the Tegra version you are in the wrong forum. This forum is for the S4 One XL.
I'm happy to donate some $$ via paypal too.

You can relock the bootloader and run an RUU. You MUST relock to run the RUU. Why can't you flash a recovery?
BTW, if you have a One XL then you don't have a Tegra. It's an S4.

[Q] Bricked my One X, really need help of a wiser people. Please

I've been following xda for a while now, but this is my first post so please take it easy on me, if I posted this in the wrong thread.
I am not new to rooting and costom roms. I have successfully rooted one phone before and I used it for a more than a year, didn't have any problems at all. Yesterday I got myself HTC One X and today I tried to root it and somehow got myself stucked/bricked.
The phone is stuck on HTC Quietly brilliant screen. I can get into bootloader, but thats it. What can I do? I already tried to flash back the original ROM, but couldn't get device to connect to PC. I looked all over the forum and googled it and still can't seem to find the solution. Any help would be highly apprechiated.

Firstly this isn't the place to be asking it, as you have a quad core HOX. Secondly, you're not bricked but we can't help you. Please see here

[Q] HTC ONE X all in one kit problem

Hi All,
I've just tried to root my htc one x (international). using the All in one toolkit V3.0 [7-16-2013
I went through step 1 to 5 (unlock bootloader) with no problems. I perm rooted and flashed TWRP but now I'm stuck! I m on the bootloader screen, I select Hboot > recovery. It loads the 'teamwin' screen and I see all options (install wipe etc) problem is that the touch screen stops working. I hit the power button and it just tells me to 'swipe to unlock' which doesn;t work either.
I searched for solutions online but cant find any. Anyone got suggestions?
Thanks
Please check your bootloader... Does it say evita? Or more simply... Are you dual or quad core?
Sent from my evita
It's a quadcore, bought in Europe if that makes a difference.
You'll have to go to the Endeavoru (HTC One X) forum then, this is the dual core Evita (HTC One XL) forum.

Apologies, will do. Please close this thread.

Help needed

By mistake I have tried to update my HTC One X with an EVITA rom, now my Phone is not booting at all.
Tried installing the original RUU_ENDEAVOR exe, but it gives ma a 156/158 error. During the update of the signature (translated).
Secondly when I try to install any rom the fastboot commando is returning "remote: not allowed".
The bootloader is giving me the following information:
*** UNLOCKED ****
ENDEAVORU PVT SHIP S-ON RL
GBOOT-1.72.0000
COKD-None
MICROP-None
RADIO-5.1204.167.31
eMMC-bootmode: disabled
CPU-bootmode : disabled
HW Secure boot : enabled
MODEM PATH : OFF
Jun 21 2013, 18:24:41
I can enter RECOVERY with has ClockWorks installed, when I try to install a custom rom there with sideload it says "remote: not allowed"
Cleared all Cash and cleaned the device, Relocking the bootloader does not help, leaving the phone shutdown for a while, are things I did try my self already.
I am totally stuck and would appreciate any advice you might have !
You'd probably have better luck on the ENDEAVORU forum (this forum is for EVITA).
That error number means you are running the wrong RUU. It must be for your device's carrier version, and hboot of the RUU must be equal or higher than what is on the phone.
Since the phone is turning on and you have bootloader, you can probably recover. But its just the wrong RUU. Also the bootloader must be locked when you RUU.
Thanks, I assume there must be a way to recover, but don't seem to be able to figure it out.
Placed a new thread in the right forum, must say it is confusing as the main screen of the XDA forum only contains one (the wrong one) HTC ONE C section.

You probably have "Top Devices" selected at the top of the forum main screen. Click "ALL" and you will see all of them.

Htc one x help scared croatian :(

Hello guys
Sorry for my bad english but il try to be precise as i can. I bought my htc on ebay it says new and it feels new. But after i read may treads here it seems its not new . I have problems with automatic software update it freezes on 20% then it reboots after few minutes, if i regard this problem the phone works fine. But im fustrated i want new software . Now i got in boot loader in this is what it says:
++++locked+++++ - in one tread i read this should be relocked
evita pvt ship s-off rl - i belive this is s-off i need your confirmation
cid - 11111111 - i dont understand fully this yet but its a good thing i belive
h-boot 1.09.0000 - dont understand what this means
RADIO - 0.16a.32.09.17_2 - i belive this is software for my phones antena

emmc -boot
Apr 2 2012, 21:08:24 - is this last known software update i manufacturing date
Know i need you help to explain this thing to me and if its safe and what do i have to do to install new software. Which software whould you
recommend and maybe can i install viper xl
Thanks
The phone definitely isn't new. You have SuperCID (11111111) and s-off which means it has been unlocked at some point. But the good news is you can easily unlock the bootloader at htcdev, then install a custom recovery, and then install Viper if you wish.

Thanks for the reply, now i never unlocked bootloader can you give me some advice on the safest way to do that and where can i see when bootloader is unlocked, sorry for dumb questions but if i dont ask ill never learn
Can somebody send me some links where can i find instructions on how to unlock bootloader, make recovery image and then how to install viper xl rom
Is your phone an at&t model? If it is it'll have the at&t logo above the screen, otherwise it'll just have the HTC logo.

Itd at&t phone
Sent from my HTC One XL using xda app-developers app
You already have SuperCID so you can go to htcdev and unlock your bootloader.

The phone is s-off, does the OP even need to unlock the bootloader to install TWRP, flash ROM, etc.?
You typically won't receive OTAs for AT&T phones outside of North America. So that is probably why the update is failing.
