WHo has tried this pimp my rom app? what settings are recomended?
I've tried "pimping" my ROM, and IMO, it sucks. I tried doing the dual-bootlogo, didn't work. Any of the sound settings didn't work, and the only thing that worked was the build.prop edit to put"pimped" next to the ROM name

The only stock app I liked was Smartshare. Was wondering if any of the flashers have noticed a rom that keeps the menu setting and app Smartshare?

Looks like it only works on stock based roms. That means it doesn't work for cm7 or MIUI

Edit: I uninstalled and reinstalled it an it works now. I was on miui for the record. Really cool app

Does anyone have the Verizon visual voicemail apk they would like to share? I searched but couldn't find it. I am on clean Rom 2.5. Thanks!

it used to work on aosp roms currently it doesnt but i think we need to add some stuff to build prop for it to work ill test after work tonight and give feedback
I used to use this all the time. Google voice seems to work just as good. I use Google voice for vm only. Just forward your missed calls to your Google voice mail. It's free.

Nice find. I just installed RocketMIUI when I shifted back to MIUI ROMs recently and it already has SNote working on it so I didn't even realize that this was an issue. lol

Tried with paranoid android cm10. After doing the steps and rebooted my phone bootlooped. Froze at my bootanimation.

I know that og was clearly for MIUI, i only tried since someone asked if it worked on AOKP. I got curious and tried, i even expected that it would not work, but hey it was worth a shot.

yes. It is slow and buggy. The phone restarts more often.
you can try it yourself, there are plenty of guides, maybe I was following an old one (I don't recall which guide it was neither the version of apk, sorry)

That's odd I just flashed the file in the link a few posts back using twrp and it works just fine. I ended up using the flash tool (in the original thread) to remove it but that stuffed up my voice search.

I flashed it in twrp as well and when it booted up, my persistent search bar was gone, so I flashed it again and it came back. When I hit the microphone on there and it'll go to a white screen then close out
