The main idea behind SuperNexus is to provide Vanilla Android experience, just like on Google's Nexus devices, to non-nexus devices. SuperNexus is entirely built from Google's AOSP Source. A lot of improvements and optimizations have been done to the Google's Source Code to have the best possible Vanilla Android Experience. SuperNexus is very light too as there are no 3rd party apps (ZERO Bloatware).
Big thanks to TeamHacksung (Donate To Them) as I'm using their Device Tree and SoC related patches in my SuperNexus ROM. Thanks to CyanogenMod Team (CM), CodeAurora and TeamKang (AOKP) as many features are cherry-picked from their source code.

IMPORTANT! READ BEFORE FLASHING THIS RELEASE!
1. This ROM will wipe data due to different partitioning. The device would reboot while flashing and resume again.
2. Once on this ROM, the most effective way of going back to any other ROM would be to repartition from Odin.
3. While converting the filesystem, your efs that has your IMEI is backed up to /emmc/backup/efs. Keep a backup on your PC just in case.
4. Incase if you don't get a network signal, check if your IMEI and Baseband are proper. If not, go back to stock and try again.
5. Do NOT use Odin to flash Modems. Due to different partitions, Odin will screw up your existing MTD setup.

Re: [ROM][UNOFFICIAL][4.1.2] SuperNexus-BUILD 5 final [Alpha 4][AOSP] NEW !!!
Just a quick question and forgive the dumbness of it. The screenshot and documentation above mention the i9100. This ROM is a port to the i9003 right? I mean the screenshot is merely for reference?

This is a hacked rom i9100 ported to our base i9003 cyanogen Dhiru
Sorry, you need to make the connection between diferent Alpha 4 changelog and build each hacked

Hi Lolation! Can you port this moded camera app to our phone?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2091509
It will be great if you can or if our phone is capable of running it.

Gotcha. Thanks a ton. I just moved to the Jellybam ROM. Would you recommend I stay with Jellybam or move to this? I do you a lot of the Google services, simply because they are all tied into each other, but battery life is also a concern. I don't get access to a charging point that easily.

[COLOR="Red"][B]Build 3[/B][/COLOR][/SIZE]
This release of the rom contains a ramdisk that will scan ext(4,3,2)
filesystems prior to mounting. Repairs are done automatically as
needed so if your filesystems are clean, you shouldn't notice anything
different. If they are corrupt it may take a little longer to boot.
Precautions:
We are asking (insisting) that everyone flashing this version of the
rom do a clean install.
Factory Reset must be run through recovery. The installer is not
capable of unmounting the cache partition that recovery mounts.
The Option inside the installer for clearing Data will reformat
the data partition only. In the future it will clear all the data
that the Factory reset option in recovery does, but for now it is
limited.
We are insisting that Factory Reset be used because it's an almost
guarantee that /data, /cache and perhaps /system are corrupt.
Journals only repair certain types of fs corruption and android
doesn't use fsck to repair filesystems. So overtime, especially
with the use of overclocking and undervolting and unsupported versions
of android, these writeable filesystems get corrupt.
Repairing such corrupted filesystems will yield completely unknown
results as far as files that get cleared or duplicated.
In the future however, you should be able to rely on dirty installs
much more, as those filesystems will not get more and more corrupt
overtime. You should also notice that long term use will not
result in increasing instability.
You can verify that filesystems are being repaired prior to mounting
by checking dmesg via adb or in Terminal. You should not see any
messages about the journal recovering the filesystems when they
are mounted. But more importantly you'll notice things are way
more stable (at least in the force close and random crash department)
Short version:
Boot into recovery.

EAGLESBLOOD™ ROM INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:
=======================================
**IMPORTANT** - MUST READ CAREFULLY AND FOLLOW COMPLETELY
1. Make a full backup of your current ROM. Then copy it over to PC if you wish.
2. Reboot into ClockworkMod Recovery (CWM). *Note* You should always flash CWM using a USB Cable and NVflash; do not 'flash CWM from the ROM Manager app'.
3. To begin start by clicking "Wipe User Data/Factory Reset", this will wipe all data off of the phone's memory (not SD card though).
4. Now click "Wipe cache partition".
5. Then go down to "Advanced > Wipe Dalvik cache".
6. Choose Install zip from "External SD Card". Wait for that to complete and confirm you see an "Installation Complete" message.
7. Now, you must flash the correct Google Apps - GApps ICS (gapps-20120212-ics.zip) ...link below.
Once the gapps are installed you can now click "Reboot System". Failing to complete all of these instructions precisely can potentially leave you stuck in CWM Recovery until you manage to build your way back out. This is not fun, trust us.
9. Done. Enjoy your new ROM!

Yes you can. Worked for me.
Hi, I have installed this ROM, but I don't see phone.apk so I can use SIP/VOIP calls as you says in features.
Any tip for this?

Can you make a proper changelog / feature list for specific devices? It's a pain seeing so many features disabled or not included.
Please consider inclusion of mms.apk, phone.apk (+SIP calling) and customizable Quick Settings or better yet make it Quick Toggles like CM10.1. I haven't try this rom yet, I will in a moment.
Flashed it, no problems quick and easy. Overall good ROM that seems stable and smooth, but I have only been running for a few days so hopefully things continue to be good after I load more apps and do some benchmarks and push it a little more I'll let you all know how it holds up. Don't anticipate any issues Cuz everything looks good. Thanks for adding another good ROM to my list of nexus 7 gsm aosps.

Awesome!!
Thanks so much!!
The only reason that is keeping me from flashing a CM based rom are the issues with microphone/sound and camera. I mean I really like the look and features of 4.2.2 but its really annoying when the main features are not working properly.
But anyways nice to see more devs are porting roms for LTE version. I will still give this rom a try just to see if the above mentioned issues are somehow solved.
Nice to see an other great dev here
Thx for Rom

I have to ask, but many users have reported issues with their sound, I'm on CM10.1 and update on weekly basis and so far I have never had an issue with sound on my device, what are the common issues people are facing?
Thank you so much!!! looking great!
before flashing, does this rom also suffers from the "low speaker" syndrome that all the other aosp rom has?
thanks again!

All credits go to johnhany97 and the entire ReVolt team, I'm just simply porting this.
Note the there is a 4.3.1 version but It's not working on our device at the moment so ignore anything about 4.3 ReVolt above!
You must be on the ICS kernel to use ANY nonkexec rom
~UPDATE~: This and other roms the A2EPT have ported may not have working in-call volume, so if it's something you really want to work then download the in-call volume adjustment fix by nma83 here: In-call Adjuster App
Reserved for ReVolt-ing!

Sorry I missed your post DH, I wasn't sure if the CM Defy recovery could flash any new rom since we've been using BMM for everything.

You're welcome min and lol, you can basically say that we are 'ReVolting' against our long time lack of rom diversity by unleashing the A2's full potential through porting. Enjoy it all!:good:
Non-kexec ROMs have more bugs than kexec ROMs, right?
Tried 2 non-kexec ROMs and met some bugs:
- Camera always FC
- Tearing UI (really annoying)
- Not responding UI for a few minutes (wake or sleep)
- ...
I see that the only bug in kexec ROMs now is the battery life (also HDMI but it's not important to me)

You could say it's an even playing field between the two. Although recent KK kexec roms have HD recording, can use JBX for performance and no ui tearing, all that comes at a price of poor battery life and other kexec-related bugs.
4.2.2 non-kexec may not have any working HD recoding (only 480p works), ui tear (can be greatly minized in developer options by reducing the Window and Transition animation scales to .5 and enabling Force 4x MSAA) and occasional stuttering/freezing, However, you still get all basic features working, same long battery life as stock ICS and no black screens of doom.
So it all comes down to which you'd rather prefer, I just simply ported, de-kexeced and shared these new roms for anyone interested.:good:
Hi,
I am on JB Leak 3, and I flashed this ROM on System 3.
When I try to boot this, it gets stuck at the black screen.
Do I have to fxz it to ICS??

That's correct, you have to be on the ICS kernel to flash and use any nonkexec rom.

Good method here, so for JB leak users you can do this as well if you seriously don't wanna fxz back to ICS.

Realy nice, i'm gonna install the rom. And Pie and Peak can wait
Hey educk, thank you for the ROM ^^
Everything works fine so far except two things
- GPS: In Settings GPS is enabled but apps don't search the location anyway. GPSTest shows that GPS is disabled but other apps show it's working but they don't search (number of satelites = 0)
- Wifi strength: It's not a bug but in comparison to CM11.0 it's a little bit weaker I think.
EDIT: I would like to say that if you change disable low RAM in Advanced Settings it's irreversible.
Disabling low RAM (or enabling - in any case change it) it makes your display brightness to 100% at reboot even if you change it back(and Tapped Out won't work anymore xD)

Hi!
Thank you for report! You are right, the GPS is not working on the current build, I will try to fix it ASAP!
About LowRam Switch, I tested now and it switches fine, I don't know what's the issue over there. Also, ART is a bit unstable, make sure you are running a compatible gapps package (odexed).
Would you mind telling me which Gapps are you using ?
Hey there,
I also installed this rom, I've been loving PA for a long time. This one also performs nice, overall performance is pretty good.
GPS problem is also confirmed here, but the low ram switcher works fine.
I'd like to ask if older PA features, like Paranoid settings, system DPi changer(phablet, tablet mode), themes, etc. will be implemented?
Fixed GPS
New build available, fixed GPS issues. :victory:
Changelog in second post!

All previous PA features such as Hybrid Engine (DPI), PIE, Peak and the new HALO (called HOVER) will be slowly rewritten by the PA team members. PIE and Peak are already finished but the sources are not public yet, they are only available on official releases.
As soon as the sources go public, I'll provide builds...
Enjoy!
Sorry, XDA derped...

I'm using the PA Micro Modular Package (~86MB) because of its size (and because of the fact that the Google Stock one has been aborted ) . Our device hasn't got much internal storage volume for system partition unfortunately.
I install the new build later and give a report by editing this post then.
EDIT: GPS works. It takes some time for the first time but that's normal for SGS+
EDIT2: I've got the "100% brightness at reboot" again.I've done a logcat via catlog.
Code:
03-23 22:31:44.510 I/WindowManager(525): No existing display settings /data/system/display_settings.xml; starting empty (Line 863)
03-23 22:31:47.022 F/SystemServer(525): at com.android.server.power.DisplayPowerController.requestPowerState(DisplayPowerController.java:658)
03-23 22:31:47.022 F/SystemServer(525): at com.android.server.power.PowerManagerService.updateDisplayPowerStateLocked(PowerManagerService.java:1911)
03-23 22:31:47.022 F/SystemServer(525): at com.android.server.power.PowerManagerService.updatePowerStateLocked(PowerManagerService.java:1343)
03-23 22:31:47.022 F/SystemServer(525): at com.android.server.power.PowerManagerService.systemReady(PowerManagerService.java:568) (Lines 1128 to 1131)
These two are suspicious I think but here is the full one as atachement.
I hope that Phenom Kernel is back
100 % Brightness

Hi rboy,
could you please describe your problem more detailed ? I mean: Do you encounter this problem with automatic brightness or if you set it manually ? Because i tested it on my testphone once with manually setted value of about 20 % and after reboot it has the same value. If i find the time later i try with automatic setting.....
You could also have a look at the automatic brightness values and check the value of the snsor within the menu - mine has around 600 to 700 LUX in the office - and maybe have a look on the curve of values dedicated to each brighness level...
Please report back so we can dig down to your problem... you can also pm me to prevent misunderstandings due to talk to eachother in a foreign language
Cheers

I made a video (quality is not the best, but it's possible to see the problem). Here you go:
http://www.firedrive.com/file/3D9CBE8095A6B1E0
Btw, the problem didn't appeared directly after installation. I've got a hypothesis that the Xposed Installer could be the reason but after deactivating/uninstalling the problem still exist. But one thing is clear: Xposed Installer is responsible for forcing Tapped Out
