Is it possible to get Apollo music player anywhere - General Questions and Answers

I had installed Apollo music player on my phone a while ago and it was by far my favorite music player. This morning I just flashed a new ROM on my phone and went to the app store to install Apollo and it was nowhere to be found. I did some googling and realized that the app had been removed due to copyright issues. Is there a chance of this app becoming available again? Is it illegal to use it? Are there any links for downloading it anywhere? I really would hate to lose this wonderful music player.

I'm sure if you Google Apollo music player apk you could find it somewhere

I am running CM7 (gingerbread) and when I tried to install this apk using root explorer it said "unable to parse package". Is there a trick to installing this? Or is it not possible to install this on CM7? Thanks.

Sounds like it is not compatible with CM7
"Hello World"

Dang. I have a Droid X and I was on Liquid ICS but the camera couldn't shoot videos and youtube app didn't work so I went back to CM7. As much as I love Apollo, I love having a working camera better.
EDIT:
Found this thread. It says that it works on all ROMS. However, there is no longer any link to the download...

Try copying it to /data/app/
If it still didn't work, try this one I attached.

you could always download unzip from the playstore. unzip the rom find the app through a file manager then install( along with every other apk. you want). i really like the inverted roms in the gapps package from jbsourcery but prefered using black bean 7 rom so i did this to have all the apps i wanted

And yes this is the most current special thx to Almighty1 for developing the fix and to the others with signature idea if I left anyone out my apologies.

No jus download this and install like any other app and it will work on the hulu app or or the internet jus change your user agent to IE6 its not a fix its the adobe app with the fix already in it jus uninstall the old adobe and put this in gets no easier
Does not work, i tried it with the HULU App and i tried it with HULU.com -- (and i changed the string to desktop in dolphin browser)
On hulu.com it just said that i need to have flash installed (seemed as though it showed i didn't have any flash installed) -- and once i reverted back to stock flash 10.2 it didn't say that anymore
Dont know what to say Ive got some confirmation from another that it worked for him also worked for me so any feedback from others would be appreciated

APP: Gtalk video chat app installer

Here's the gtalk with video chat everyone's been waiting for, just install like a regular apk file. Developer information is in the app with instructions on how to install. DO NOT DELETE ORIGINAL GTALK APP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I get a "Parse error"
"There is a problem parsing the package."
Is there a specific ROM design to run this?
Stock ROM or any GB?
Thanks
FYI, this installer is available in the Market as "Talk 1.3 Installer".
I'm running infused 2.1 and it worked fine for me. I didn't know it was on the market though.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using XDA App
Also, since Serendipity VII usually comes without GTalk installed unless you hit the "addons" section of Mikey's site, the "backup" function of the app won't work.
However the installation function works fine.
Installed... and seems to work fine!!! Running on Infused 2.1.0!

I can't find the installer in the market.
Maybe it was pulled.
It's still there, I just saw it " talk installer"

I, Too got the parse error. Hmmmmm
hmmmm, must have got pulled again, I see nothing at all regarding Talk 1.3, or talk installer etc.
i searched "talk 1.3" on market.android.com and found it just fine and pushed the install to my phone. installed just fine and works great.
Serendipity Infuse v7
Downloaded and installed successfully from the attached file. Checked the market, and talk 1.3 is there.
Quick question though, you have to be on WIFI to use the video feature? It wouldn't let me unless i was on WIFI
I to am Running Serendipity 7
..the backup wont run but the Install is Flawless..thanks man. -
Doesn't work. Parsing error...
app needs more work
ima dummy
I'm learning and I tore the web up researching but heres my question:
on my rooted phone, all I need to install is talk 1.3, and as the instructions call for, I need the phone to be rooted and to have busybox installed, is that right? Thanks for responding to this noob questions

Ics stock music player?

You could just download a rom that has it and extract the zip file. Pull the apk from system\app or whatever the directory is and find the right apk, then transfer over to your phone. Not sure if it will work tbh, but won't hurt anything to try.

This works, I added weapon's email.apk to bionix this way.
Awesome, got it to work. I used EB's music since it is from gingerbread. The ICS music player crashes constantly on ICS roms, pretty sure it works well on stock ICS phones...but not phones flashed with ICS.
Anyway, i disabled the music player included with the Hellfire ROM, so it doesnt show up in the app drawer any longer, also did this with other unnecessary items that i dont use...how do i enable them again if i ever want to? When looking for the apps i just disabled, i cant find them anywhere in the Manage Apps list or anywhere else.
Why didn't you just download the GB music app from the market. The one in the EB rom is not the newest player. Just do a google music search and it comes right up.

Well, if you looked at my previous post, the newest ICS player (with the headphones icon), doesn't run well on my phone.
It's a glitch with the ICS roms.
I'll give this one a shot, though.
Deleted: Sorry I read your original post wrong. I didn't realize you were running HellFire ICS and not GB. Sorry about that
its fine, I still need to find out how to enable things i disabled!! I got rid of the stock Browser, Voice Dailing, and something else i dont know.
I dont NEED those things, but i want to know how to bring them back.

Adobe Flash Player

Those of you looking for the Adobe Flash playstore apk that was taken off of the market. Well here it is
Why should you download and install this? Well firstly its no longer available on the market, secondly if you want any kind of flash support on your device when browsing certain webpages, watching specific videos then you'll need this. Most of the browsers even the ones on the market dropped flash support, i'm not sure why but they did, and having this installed will give you that flash support back And lastly, it only takes a few seconds to install and won't harm anything so why not have it just in case you need it right?
Links:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6260242/Applications/com.adobe.flashplayer-1.apk
https://docs.google.com/open?id=0Bx4sftkd1mSvbE94YlV3dHFkZWM
That's the last updated version from the market. Pulled directly from my phone Just sideload it like you would any other application.
-Make sure "install from unknown sources" is checked on.
-Go into your favorite file manager find the apk and install it.
-There you go all done
***Chrome Browser does not support flash, the stock touchwiz browser does though***
Mods, i don't believe this is considered warez since it was never a paid app on the app store. But if this is somehow against the rules, please feel free to remove it and let me know
Disclaimer: I don't own this app, it was made by Adobe and then discontinued, i have simply provided a safe download link for anybody looking for the application so that they still have flash on their phone. I do not guarantee that it will work on your rom, and will not make any attempt to force it to work. Its the same application that was available on the market
Thanks. When jelly bean synergy drops I will be back for this.

If you are running jelly bean you can't. And if you didn't previously have it installed you can't either. This is so people who still want it can sideload it and get it from a reliable source
Edit, when I get home later today I'll upload it to a few more sites
Added a google drive download link and added the apk as an attachment as well

[REQUEST]Stock n7000 video player

Have searched the forums but i can't find what I'm looking for.
I would like apk for the stock buy Note video player. I used to watch movies i have downloaded via BitTorrent on my pc on my note, using ES file explorer. Now that i am on CNA black rom, i can't use the stock video o player as it isn't in gapps ?!?
Every other video player I've tried lags when watching high quality videos via ES file explorer via wifi.
Please help.
Thanks in advance.

I dont think what you are asking for is possible, u need the samsung codecs, but as official jelly bean for the note is not out yet you cant do it. This is one of the many reason I have gone back to Rocket rom Ics, it may be older firmware but it plays all movie formats with no problems.
Dammit. Yes , this is possibly time for me to go back to ICS again. Once black cna came out with pressure sensitivity on the s pen i decided it was time to stay on JB for a while. Alas.
Tell me, would ICS player work? Has anybody a copy of the apk for me to try? Or are the codecs not stored in the apk file?
