[Q] Browser question

Hi all!
I'm using my TF mosly for surfing on the web. But I don't like the stock browser cause there's a delay when I type. Then I tried Firefox, but there I have a US-style keyboard altough my dock is a german QWERTZ-version.
Finally I tried Opera Mobile but I can't scroll with my USB-mouse 8with the stock browser I can scroll).
My configuration:
- Asus Transformer B50-revision running Revolver-ROM
- QWERTZ-keyboarddock
- Logitech M235 mouse
So which browser are you using? And did ou have the same problem(s)?
Thanks in advance,
LB
Have you tried dolphin HD? It seems to have allot of features so it might have all the ones you need.
Also wrong section
Dolphin for Pad has keyboard lag.. I don't remember for Dolphin HD, but I think they're based on the same stuff right?
Thanks for the answers!
I didn't like Dolphin on my Galaxy S so I didn't try it - but this was a huge mistake! Dolphin has no lags, a nice fullscreen mode, a lot of features and I can scroll with my mouse.
There is a special version for tablets but I don't know why I should use it cause the 'normal' version is working perfectly.

Solid white or black box over embedded video

Hello all,
Just like the title of this thread says. Im having a very odd issue with my Transformer displaying embedded video correctly. Whenever I open a video in a website, or within the pulse app, I will get a solid white or black solid box over the video. It usually covers the bottom 75% or so of the video, making it unwatchable. If anyone has a solution to this it would be awesome. It is a very annoying problem. It doesnt happen in the youtube app at all, it is only with embedded video.

Launching SuperVideo with stock android Youtube app widget

I've been getting very attached to the SuperVideo app as it lets the video float on screen and lets me multitask. The only thing it really lacks is a widget like the stock YouTube app widget which lets you flip through your new subsciption videos. I know it might be a bit of a noob question, but is there some way to launch a video from the YouTube app widget with SuperVideo? (i.e. I see my subscription vids on the widget and when I tap it, it opens in SuperVideo) Might be a long shot though but I personally think it's worth asking about

If I understand your question correctly, Google YouTube policy doesn't allow 3rd party mobile app to access their video content. And if it does, it's not allowed in the Play Store (ie. YouTube downloaders) So, if they were to implement this reqest, Super Video would no longer be available in play store.

Youtube videos cannot maximize when docked

Has anyone else noticed this? I'm not sure how long this problem has existed, but with the latest version of YouTube, there is no option to maximize the video while the tablet is attached to the keyboard.
Yes, it's a well-known bug in the latest version... Just "Uninstall updates" from Settings->Apps->YouTube and you'll be back to the previous version...

Oh so that's why it wouldn't do full screen. I'm always docked so I thought Google just simply disabled the feature in the latest Youtube much like they've crippled Youtube on the Desktop with the new update.
Note you still get full screen over HDMI.
Also does the load time seem longer after the new update? Mine is constantly buffering. Very annoying

Two other problems with the latest YouTube app:
1) Videos autorotate on screen even with the system's autorotate turned off.
2} It is impossible to read the full text of long video title names.
Are you guys experiencing the same?

Problems with YouTube connected to the tv

I'm having problems with the YouTube app when my tablet is connected to my TV through HDMI. The videos play on both the tablet and TV extremely jerky and will crash the tablet eventually causing a reboot. Other apps such as TED and twitch TV will play only on the tv. Is there a way to get YouTube to do the same ? I think the tablet can't handle playing on both screens causing the lag and eventual reboot. Using katkiss 4.3 build 26.
Thanks

I think it is more a bug with the youtube app. If you look at there recent reviews there is a bunch of 1 stars for multiple issues/bugs. I would recommend trying older youtube apk versions to see if the issue is resolved.
