How to backup application keys??

Hi all, got a question about Windows Mobile.
I want to backup my application keys so that when I flash a new rom, I don't have to re-enter all those settings and data again. I'm talking about data/information such as serial key, all your settings and accounts that you configured and setup, etc etc.
I tried backing up HKLM\Software as well as HKCU\Software and when I imported them, it bricked my phone and the ROM somehow got corrupted. I had to reflash it again to get it working.
Of course, I can backup the ENTIRE registry, and that will obviously work on the same ROM. But if I try to use that backup on a different ROM, then obviously it won't work.
I tried Google and searching around and couldn't find out which path I need to look at to backup the application keys.........does anyone know?

HELP!!! my nexus s I9023 is locked by the ROM XenonHD

I have installed the XenonHD few weeks ago so i am not using the most updated version.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1667442
today when i am using the phone as normal, it suddenly rebooted.
when it is started, it didnt show any launcher screen or wallpaper but it required me a password to start up the phone.
It shows " Type password to decrypt storage".
As i remember there is a button for activating the encrypt storage function in the system setting/ rom setting.
I am 100% sure that i didnt press it. This function is activated somehow after the sudden reboot......
Is there a way to get the password or extract the data from the phone before i flashing a new rom.....
maybe you should try wiping dalvik cache, or just randomly try to unlock, eventually it should ask you what your google account is, and you should be able to unlock. or else you have to do this: make a nandroid backup, then, flash a new rom, use titanium backup to extract the apps and their data from the nandroid. hope this helps.

Best way to back-up settings and apps for a new rom?

Guys I know I'm stupid. But I know all the basics of flashing, rooting, recovery, etc... But I never cared about backing up my settings and apps, I always started fresh. But now since I flash a lot more I'm starting to get annoyed. :silly: I want to start backing up, but is it possible to do so and keep all my settings, my apps, and the settings of my apps? I know Titanium Backup can backup setting and apps but can it backup system settings as well? I would prefer to use what you guys think is the best option, thanks again. I do not care about backing up the whole ROM itself with all the apps and settings via TWRP or any other custom recovery, the whole point of this post is to have a fresh ROM then restore it with all the apps and settings I previously had on the ROM before.

You should never restore system apps/data/settings with Titanium, that'll lead to problems, only ever backup/restore user apps. I wouldn't suggest you use any app to backup/restore your system settings, it could cause problems, plus it should only take a few minutes to set those up after flashing a ROM.

Cleanest ROM flash with minimum reconfiguration.

Hey, everytime I want to flash a new ROM or even new version of the same ROM,
I like to clear everything beforehand and factory reset my device.
The issue is everytime I do that I have to download all my apps again and configure the device all over again (apps & phone settings) .
I need some guide about backing up the maximum data possible (settings and applications) while still keeping the new flash as clean as possible.
I own Titanium paid version.
Thanks a lot!

The fact that u have titanium backup pro makes it so much easier backup all user apps only (backing up system apps/data will cause problems with new ROM) then flash new ROM, reinstall titanium backup, and go to restore then you can choose apps or apps+data

Can't restore app data to gm1913 running crDroid

Ok, I've tried different things, but it seems I'm stuck when trying to restore my app data for certain apps (mostly games) on crDroid 6.11 (Android 10). I'm restoring from an older Android 6 ROM. I would prefer not to root at this point.
I've tried:
ADB backup: I can create backup, but adb is stuck on the 7 Pro at the password prompt when trying to restore
Helium backup: Again, I can create backup on my old phone, and transfer to new phone. But Helium throws an error when trying to restore.
It seems I'm running out of options. I can simply not understand it should be so difficult to back up your app data for a few simple apps (games) and restore them on a new device without root.
I know there are options with root, and maybe I will end up rooting with Magisk just to be able to do this. But I still find it very strange that there is no easy tool to do this - or maybe there is and I don't know it.
Any suggestions are very welcome. Thanks!
