Hi guys. Someone please tell me how to activate 3g connection in tipo.i m not able to find it to turn from 2g to 3g.

Do you have 3 g enabled on sim? Go into settings > more > mobile network > network mode. Try wcdma only, then preferred if 3g works

I have a 3g gsm sim. But I can't find from where to select 2g or 3g.it always select 2g network

when u'll select WCDMA it'll only catch 3g signals or if u have weak reception in your area thn stay on dual mode(GSM/WCDMA)

Click menu choise radio band and tap the japan band
Back scrol down change network wcdma prefered to wcdma only

I have a Samsung Galaxy Grand i9082 dual sim. There is no option to make it connect to internet with 3G only. Instead it has 2G, and 2G/3G options
Is there a code to force it on 3G only?

i guess you have to go into settings->mobile networks->uncheck the use only 2G networks option
Yes, I have unchecked that. But I want it on 3G only and not 2G/3G. I thought there would be a code for that.

I have an european Sony Xperia Tipo ST21i and in my home country I was getting 3G signal without any problems. But I am now in USA and I can't get any 3G, nor 4G network from T-Mobile. I have tried flashing some stock roms, different versions but no luck... Any help?
Maybe usa version of 3g is different. St21a should be able to detect usa networks.

Please help I'm using cm 9.2.3 ICS plus with kernel flashed to 2.6.35 sweetnsour kernel version 4d.
I have issues with the mobile data which I didn't find the solution in any thread.
When I switch on mobile data it doesn't connect.I'm having to switch on/off mobile data repeatedly to make it connect.and a lot of times it doesn't connect and I'm having to switch on flight mode and then switch it off to make it work.I'm having this issue from long time. And I have new baseband.

Problems could be baseband, kernel, or burn wcdma chip

Bro i also have docomo and its tata docomo problem not any rom or kernel i tested my mobile data with vodafone and there is no problem with mobile data.and tata docomo session time is only 30min ie after using 30min your data automatically disconnected and you need to wait 5-10min for data signal to come.thats why i hate docomo.
Ya I know about that.but after it gets disconnected its difficult to make it connect again.in my bros xolo play it gets disconnected and connects automatically within seconds.

Can I flash c2104 firmware on a c2105?
I got my phone from Asia and want to use it on Rogers network which is 850/1900...it's such a joke that these 'newer' phones are not 3g quadband, it has dual band wifi...
Even my old asian galaxy s1 has option (debug) to let me use 4 3g bands. So is it such a stretch that this is just a software limitation?
Any help is appreciated EDGE is really slow...
I guess you should be able to use C2104 firmware on C2105.. But, you should confirm with someone else too.. Don't proceed flashing now, just wait for someone else's reply
Why you need to flash c2104 firmware to get this? My c2105 got that bands,will provide screen. Maybe you need to flash ftf(for c2105) for other region that got that bands? There are some ftf in general tab and in android development tab too.

What android are you running? 4.1.2? I'm running latest fw 4.2.2 flashed from PC Companion. Can u show me *#*#7378423#*#* under service->service info->configuration->working bands
I only have UMTS_BC1 and UMTS_BC8 for 3G...
If you do have more, can u link where you downloaded your ftf? Thanks.
Sorry, now I saw that they are only this two that you mention... But I don't think that c2104 baseband will work on c2105.Maybe you need ftf for your region, because I don't have problems with 3g. You can try to change customization number in your build.prop and try to update it with SUS.

Oh okay, where are you using your c2105?
Like I said in OP, I'm using an Asian L (C2105) in North America (rogers/canada).
I guess I can live with EDGE is not that bad for messaging (whatsapp, bbm, email). It's just browsing and downloading is superslow 15kByte/sec at least the upload is 1:1...

D2302 doesn't support LTE

If the modem of the D2302 doesn't support 4G LTE then it's impossible to have 4G LTE with it.
