Really.? Doesn't work on mine!

Don't know if it counts, but my two most used shorcuts are made with nova launcher and is:
-Swipe down on home screen to get notification bar down (no more reaching on big phones)
-Swipe up on home screen to go to app drawer

holding the finger on the status bar then swiping left or right changes the brightness

HTC ONE S unlock bug?

Do you have this bug?
Edit:
Youtube embedding is not working.
You can watch video on this link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vglQDdwDkzk
I wouldn't count that as a bug because your phone is not actually 'locked'. When you turn on screenlock with pin, notification menu is disabled untill you enter lock code.

Seriously? Not a bug.
You're clicking the gmail icon, which is animating the ring to the icon. Try grabbing the actual ring from the bottom of the screen and dragging it up, over the icons.
explain to us what are you considering as a bug here because i dont see any bug.
I slide down notification bar over the ring, enter in settings and unlock phone.
On GB on my previous phone (DHD) that was not possible.
Why to lock it if I can unlock it on this way?

This is a known "feature" since ICS 4.0. Ability to use the notification bar from the lockscreen. I assumed you were unable to unlock the phone using the ring, which is why I said what I did in my previous post. Sorry for the misunderstanding, but please try being a little more clear.
So, once again, not a bug.
However, I do understand that it seems unusual being able to unlock this way, but that's the way it is.
Ok then. But, this "feature" is stupid for me...

Understood. Love it or hate it.
I remember seeing somewhere a way to disable the notification bar on the lockscreen...but I believe it was through a 3rd party app. WidgetLocker does it if I'm not mistaken, probably some other lockscreen replacement apps as well. Check them out.
Ok. Thank you bro.

flashlight notification toggle?

Would it be possible to implement a flashlight notification toggle like in cm 10.1 and long press home button activiation in lock screen??
I have a lockscreen widget and a normal widget right now but that's not nearly as fast as the methods described above.
Not to mention the no look possibility with the home button one.
I'm using a rooted Stock Rom MDM with an i9505
thanks in advance
im going to bump this out of interest because im going through holy hell trying to find a method to have an easy to use DISCREET flashlight toggle

Resizable invisible box on 4.3 lockscreen?

Hey, after I updated to 4.3, I'm getting this extremely annoying invisible movable and resizable box on my lockscreen. Sometimes when it's moved it has small pencil icon on the bottom right hand corner.
Idk what this box is, as I've unclicked just about everything in SETTINGS>LOCK SCREEN and it's still there.
The reason I want it gone is it prevents me from quickly accessing my phone as the box highlights itself if I accidentally touch it.
Any ideas? Thanks

What Disappointed Me In LolliPop 5.1

Doesn't matter How beautiful is the UI of Lollipop , There Are Certain Things Which You Will Feel Uncomfortable With .
Here Are A Few Con's Which I Feel Uncomfortable With .
1. Two Controls To Unlock Screen ;
First You Need To Push The LockScreen cLock ; Then To Unlock Security Pattern or Pin If You Enabled It ..
Uncomfortable !!! Isn't It ?
2. Two Controls To Come Out Of Quick Setting Toggles Even If There Are No Active Notifications .
First A Swipe Up , Which Brings you Back To Notification Panel ; Then A Touch Or A Swipe Up Again To Close Notification Panel.
Disgusting .. Isn't it ?
3. Whenever You Want To Get Rid Of Non Clearable Notification , Holding It Will Not Bring Up The App Info PopUp .. Instead It Gets You To Notification Settings Of That Particular App ; Which Means You Cannot Force Stop The App Which Shows Non Clearable Notification And Imagine You Have No idea Which Part Of System It Belongs To, Then It Stays Forever. Which Can Only Be Hidden And Not Stopped .
Weird .. Isn't It ?

If that's all you got to complain I'd say they did a fairly good job on it.

It was said that lots of apps and games did not work on Lollipop while they worked well on KitKat or Jelly Bean.
I wonder if it is real.
None of it is real man.

Of course they do well ..
But the quick setting thing is what bothers me .
Two swipes to pull down is okay ..
But two swipe ups to close ; cannot agree to it

I think they are working on UX part too in recent builds, they fixed a lot of problems which were reported previously, and hope these will also be.

Hey explain why is the resolution of the camera reduced by 0.1 pixel on both ends? In other words why is the resolution 4.9 not 5.0 on back and 1.9 not 2.4 in front?

Same.
Did anyone capture the download link?

Meh...still not showing on mine.
For those who have it:
Does one button Nav work via the Moto app (or however Pie set it up)? I don't like the nav bar taking up real estate on my screen.

I would think not since they're running Project Fi. (Unless I'm confusing that with the Android One model...)
No One button Nav, but two additional gestures appeared under system settings:
- Swipe up on home to replace the overview button, and swipe up again for the app drawer. (two swipes for app drawer doesn't work for Nova, but does for the stock Moto launcher.
- press power and volume-up to prevent ringing
I've attached pics of these and phone/system screens.

If you remove this prop "ro.mot.android_one", after rebooting, the One Button Nav option will be available.
You can use the MagiskHide Props Config module to do this.
Can you post the pics of changes in pie
My x4 (Google Fi version) just updated to Pie and there are already two changes I hate. The clock was moved to the far left of the status bar and no more split screen multitasking. I used the latter a lot and am not happy about losing that functionality. Anyone know if it can be re-enabled?

it's still available, it's just annoying to use now. go to the recents menu, and then hold down the app icon of the app you want to turn into split screen. not sure why Pie chose to do that, but that's how to do it now.
Thank you RockinAmigo14!! I tried to hold down the app window in the overview screen but not the actual app icon. Beautiful! Now I'm only angry about the clock position!

The "swipe up on home" is the same gesture navigation as on the Pixels. One button nav would come by an update to the Moto actions app.

It's not showing up on me yet (I've checked several times already lol). According to this article on Android Authority, the updates is rolling out to x4 this week. So I guess we should have Pie by this weekend.
