Stock JB Rooted on the p3113. Smooth, fast and stable. And all the hardware works, unlike the CM based ROMs.
from stock to sungxxx,back to stock 4.0.4 rooted .

P5100 running Pyrana Va4 GT P-5100 3G 4.1.1 LL2 and Zeppellinrox Supercharger, 3G and Flush-O-Matic scripts. Awesome combo.
Stock 4.1.2, using self compiled kernel, and disabled a lot of stock apps.
Stock JB 4.1.1 for the P5110. Fast, stable and smooth... definitely the best stock rom out there.
kwbr expresso clean 3.0 stock rooted rom, with Tablet UI on Tab 2 7" smooth nice cool
CM10.1 lattest nightly, works well so far.
Latest OTA update w/ CF Auto Root.
I don't need all the extra software, I just removed the samsung bloatware while rooted.

Its super stable. Just about everything works perfectly (and if you have a WiFi only device, everything works perfectly)

GT P3100 running on stock rom ics 4.0.4 unrooted and still waiting for jb update.
I rooted in 4.0.3 but latter i knew that every customization will be logged. To lazy to use triangle away to reset the binary counter. So 4.0.4 i left it unroot.

CM10.1 Latest Nightly, works awesome! About the only thing that doesnt work on my 3113 is the IR Blaster but no biggies since I don't use it!

The title says it all what is the best jelly bean rom for the galaxy tab 2 10.1 p5100? :laugh:
Stock you may try the leaks or wait official update
Custom so use cm10 latest nightly (i use it) from www.teamhacksung.org or aokp v4 (more customizable)

You can use jelly bean custom rom from cyanogenmod or AOKP. The both rom is very smooth. If make comparison I think the rom of Cyanogenmod is better than AOKP a bit

Thanks guys I'm now running aokp build 4 I tried the official jellybean ota leak it was really smooth but the sound was much lower , I also tried cm10 nightly but its still not stable there are too much bugs .....:good:

You rally only have 2 choices.
Stock JB Touchwiz
and CM10 variants which are stable but lose some hardware support like HDMI (on 10 inch) and IR blaster
Got a bit confused as to which would or wouldn't work between 3113 and 3110 because there's no official jb for the 3113 yet, correct?

I've seen people say that the Stock 3100 JB works fine on the P3113. I cannot confirm that myself since I don;t have a P3113.

A good Non-TW jellybean ROM is CM10.1 with the AOKP kernel. It is very smooth and is pretty stable IMO. (Can be found here)
A good TW jellybean ROM is the Sungsonic ROM. It comes with lots of extra audio/visual mods that can easily be removed if unwanted, and it's fast. (Can be found here)

there is also Tab2lite for the 3113 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1888179 that is a TW stock based JB just debloated to the extreme, haven't tried it yet myself, but it will probably be the next one I test.

I personally use Expresso. It's great, can still use IR blaster, get jelly bean, and it's very stable, great on battery life.
try sungsonic hd, it's nice...
There are so many damn roms and I dont want to spend days testing them all. What is one of the better roms? Right now Im running Jellybam and dont really have many issues at all. What prompted me to come look is that I started up my old Samsung Vibrant and was disappointed at how fast it felt compared to my HTC One S - faster!
So... what do you guys recommend?
I'm using ViperOneS 2.00 and it's perfect to use as a daily driver. You get sense and a lot of tweaks plus new update is in the works
Well i'm using pac man rom latest version and flashed bubbas kernel 2.7 over it and it runs pretty fast. You also get a bunch of tweaks that you can change with the app kernel tuner

I use viper 1.2.1 since I like the sense can with zarboz beast kernel with s2w. Awesome battery life

Dark Jelly CM10, works perfectly fine and hasnt caused me any issue.
Viper 1.2.1 with zarboz kernel is also damn good.
The custom JB Sense roms are too limited for my taste atm.

I'm using the recent STOCK AOKP 4.2 (Feb 15th build) It seems very smooth, certainly in comparison to the original firmware.

I know a lot of people may not have this phone anymore, but can anyone tell me what Ice Cream Sandwich ROM is the most minimalistic? What I mean by that is I'd like a ROM that has everything working flawlessly, but with little to no bloat, such as Touchwiz crap & the like.
If anyone can help me out, I'd be so grateful!

Using CM10 myself, but if you specifically want ICS for any reason: Blaz3r and Tweaked ICS 2.2 are my personal top choices.
Yup, for minimalistic, your going to want CM9 for ics, or CM10 for jellybean.

Thanks a lot...the reason I was wondering about ICS was because I had heard that the Blaze didn't have everything working in Jelly Bean. Is that true?
Nothing different then any other cm10 ROM, cm10 is really stable on the blaze. You can try it if its no good flash back stock or what ever you want.

Plain old vanilla cm7. You can get it from get.cm. the latest nightly for our device is extremely stable. I personally prefer some of the ics roms that you can find around the dev section. Eagles blood, paranoid Android and hellfire sandwich are all ics roms that I have enjoyed using. Currently on Hellfire sandwich and am liking it however I will say I think eagles blood 4.0.4 aosp is the most stable of all the ics roms I have ran. Only thing that doesn't work that is relevant for me is the video mode for the camera and video playback is really crappy.
