currently running cm10 stable.
the strage thing is that data network is working while i cant call anyone. what do you think the problam is? its happaning 2*3 times per day.
I experienced calling problem (in and out) when memory is low. My solutions:
1.Uninstall unused apps, especially those "memory resident" type such as facebook, google+ and so on.
Use setting->apps->RUNNING to see what is running and RAM left.
2. Install memory efficient or bigmem kernel, I use Marmite 7.2 with good results.
For system apps that comes with CM10, I use Titanium Backup to remove or freeze (TB Pro).
Hope this help.

Hi team,
hope you can help me...I just rooted my phone, did everything what was needed before flashing a custom rom.
I tried the Android Revolution HD 2.1 custom rom, and it worked fine, but once I made my first phone call, the process com.android.phone started to consume 100% of my CPU, the phone started to be hot, battery rapidly down etc. The only thing helped was the restart and not to make phone call. I searched in the different forums, I tried the USB debugging and also to clear calendar cache, but nothing...I flashed a different kernel as well (Leddroid) but no luck...still the same issue, 100% cpu usage after a phone call.
I decided to flash another custom rom, which was Leedroid 2.2.0...was hoping that it will fix the problem, but again...phone call and cpu on 100%...the strange thing is, that this time it did not do right after the first phone call, but 2 days later. Tried to disable all the synchs, usb debugging, calendar cache etc. but still got this problem
Anybody can help please? I would appreciate
Weird..
I've noticed my phone burning my leg while its in my pocket randomly when im not using it? Maybe a bug on HTC's behalf.Download fast reboot off the market and try using that to kill all the apps, its the best one ive used and normally stops it being so hot
Thank you, but it did not help...it actually kills everything, but as soon as I make the next phone call, the CPU gets back to 100% :-(
Anybody can help please...I installed a different kernel as well, but no luck...tried stock, Leedroid kernel and still got the 100% cpu issue.
Perhaps a full wipe can help. Make a Backup before.
Thanks MysthMob...I tried that one as well...used the SuperWipe from mike and from Leedroid as well...reinstalled the custom rom, everything worked fine till the first phone call...than it went up again to 100%
I was thinking of that it is caused by any 3rd party app...I have these installed:
Advanced task killer pro
Battery widget pro
Automatic bluetooth dongle pro
You dont need a task killer! Sense has one built in called Low Memory Killer
Good to know thank you...just removed, but the problem still persist...I am tired to reboot the phone all the time I make a phone call.
If you still have problems i would send it back for repair, Maybe it has a hardware fault
Do not think so...it was working fine with stock Rom...its just in custom Roms..but with all? I flashed back stock Rom and its working fine, but I want a custom one, I think I do not need to explain why
I will probably go back to the stock rom :-(
Mike is planing to release his 3.0.1 version, maybe he will include a fix...will wait till he posts it
I have got HTC Sensation XE.(it is rooted,revolutionary s-off,super CID,unlocked).
My old ROM was ARHD 3.6.9 and i was really satisfied except it was a bit laggy so after witnessing people's admirations of this new ROM (ARHD 6.6.3) i decided to upgrade.
After all i installed the ARHD 6.6.3 but i have these new problems now:
1.My mobile screen turns on and off involuntarily what should i do?
2.Battery drains too fast in comparison to my previous ROM(ARHD 3.6.9) e.g today with only 3 calls and no other actions(no video and audio usage and no internet browsing)2 P.M in the afternoon i had only 23 percent juice.
Of course i think one of the main causes is that screen turn-on and off.
3.Wireless doesn't work at all sometimes it finds the wirelss networks and sometimes not.
After finding the net it can not connect and shows this message "not in range"
4.Before installing this ROM i succeeded to connect to my mobile through Adb and make it SuperCID but now adb does not recognize my mobile what has happened?
So i couldn't install the Radio. But in "About" option my Radio version reads 11.69..... is it still necessary to install it?
5.There is not any options in menus and settings for enabling GPS or i could not find the one.Of course after opening Maverick program ,GPS started but it is very laggy and after about 8 mins it found the location .Before this it was very speedy about 2 mins it could connect. So what should i do to bring that speed back?
6.Maps program does not work and steadily a message shows up "unfortunately Maps stopped"
What's the problem?
Some of my other programs does not work as well and this message shows up after trying to open them.
7.After these all i am really regretful and disappointed of this ROM.Why should i upgrade and face these all problems even i thought to sell my phone and change it.
8.Is there any way to downgrade or use main kernels from HTC to solve all of these?
I tried to downgrade my HBOOT from 1.27 to 1.17 and bring my old ROM back but i couldn't.
After flashing the old firmware(1.17 HBOOT) the system hung and couldn't start and only 4EXT recovery touch removed and Clockwork recovery recovered but the HBOOT version was still 1.27 and the system could not start.
Excuse i really bothered you people with my long questions.
1. Settings > Display. What does it say under sleep?
2. It take a few days for the battery to reach its full charge after flashing a new ROM.
5. Setting > Location > GPS Satellites or put a toggle widget on your homescreen.
6. Update maps?
7. If you really dont like it go back to your old ROM.
Personally ARHD 6.6.3 works perfectly for me.
i am a noob but i think i have answers to your questions
2) kernel problem? if you're using faux123 kernel, download System Tuner by 3c from market and make sure governor is intellidemand (it was ondemand by default for me for some reason), or reflash faux123 kernel
havent test with sebastianFM yet, sorrry
3) ICS WiFi bug?
5) Setting > Location > GPS Satellite, install GPS fix tweak?
based on my experience, gps lock speed varies by apps
for example, Sygic locate gps fast than HTC location most of the time
6) clear ur old map from ur SD card
Settings > Storage > (under SD card) Make more space > Maps
Not sure if this is the correct place to post, but I am having a rebooting issue with the ROM. The phone seems to reboot while using Google Talk, specifically while typing, the phone just locks up for a few seconds and reboots. It seems to also always be when I'm either typing on the keyboard, or getting focus on a box that requires the keyboard for input. I thought it might be an issue with the gApps that I have installed, but I flashed back to my backup of v7.1, and the issue no longer persists.
Also, a general problem with HO!NO!, on both v7.1 and 8.2, the camera app crashes my phone quite a lot. It is random, so I can't say exactly what's causing it.
Also, is it normal for a phone to have completely incorrect time after rebooting (from a crash by the camera app, I should add) without a data signal? (This was a problem for v7.1. It updates fine within a second with a data signal, but the time seems to default to 00:00 without data.) I was in a place with no signal and all the pictures I took ended up with time stamps of something like December of 2002.
I'm currently using HO!NO! v7.1 with kernel version 3.0.8-HO!NO!_Mod-cyanogenmod+ and Cyanogen Mod version 9-20120721-UNOFFICIAL-p930.
I have the same issue. Same trouble with Jellybean too. I think it's something to do with the Kernel. we need a custom kernel soon!
Hello,
Although my post count will show I am totally new here. I am quite comfortable with flashing/etc.
I have been running the Synergy rom since 1.4 and I absolutely love it.
(full wipe of the phone)
I recently installed the R67 nightly (wiped cache/dalvik)
After R67, I noticed that my browser would not load pages completely. It would show about 90% on the status bar and it just stops.
I have had the problem before on my HTC Incredible so I went through the normal motions.
Tested Wifi/3g/4g....all show the same behavior.
Cleared "data" for the app...
Cleared app cache....
Wiped system cache...
Force closed the app...
This was all still showing the same result.
I installed Chrome...same result?
That kinda threw me...I was expecting it to be limited to the stock browser.
I installed Firefox...eureka! it is working now....for about 4 pages...now the same thing is happning to it.
I hate to even appear to be calling out the Synergy guys. I think they have a great ROM, but it is the last thing to change on my phone. So I am reaching.
I did go through a few recommendations from other phone models, remove proxy from APN settings..etc..
I can not seem to figure it out.
Anyone else on R67 seeing this? Is it something more fundamental to the phone itself?

Love your opening line, I am in the same boat in regards to post count!
Have you flashed over the latest R68? I did not use 67 at all, infact started at 64, played with some JB developments, and came back to the most current 68 (with a darkhorse rises awesome theme!). I did not have any browser issues on the 64 build, and have "none" on the 68 build - well sort of: I have noticed that when I have been on wifi for a while, when disabling wifi, the data connection (which shows in the status bar as ok) seams to freeze up. Similar symptoms of what you described. What I had to do was disable the auto wifi connect, open an instant data drawing app (play store), close it, re-open it once or twice and boom! 4g data as advertised snaps back into action without any issues until I start using wifi again for a long period. This freeze appears to only happen when the auto wifi connect is enabled (need to verify that a bit). I would flash the current nightly and test. Chrome also seams to work a bit better than the stock browser, as it should. Stick with the rom, as you know its great. Hope that helps.
Hi folks
I have a Nexus S (i9020a). It has stock 4.1.2 Jelly bean from Google (downloaded the stock image and flashed it). It worked fine for over a month.
Suddenly few days back this device got a problem. When I dial any number I can't hear any dialing sounds and even after the call has connected I can't hear the opposite person and the opposite person also can't hear me (The phone still shows as 'Dialing' though it's already connected). The same is true when I answer any call. Both parties can't hear anything.
This is solved by rebooting the phone for the first phone call only. After I reboot, the 1st phone call works fine, then this problem persists for any calls I make/receive until I reboot the phone again.
I tried flashing a different radio but this problem is still there. I tried my sim card on a different phone and it works fine, so the problem is not that too. My 3G data works just fine.
I need this phone for the next few days/weeks (hopefully not months) before my Nexus 4 gets delivered
Thanks..
Edit: Modified the title; Probably gave the wrong meaning that the problem is solved.
<bump> Modified the title. Earlier title gave an impression that the problem is solved whereas I still have a problem.
Have you installed any apps which could somehow affect the dialler?
Unless someone else can give you a different advice, I can't think of any other option than do a full wipe and reflash.
I haven't installed any such apps.
Also, I already did a full wipe and flashed the stock image again. The problem is still there.
Don't know what else you could try, sorry mate - hope someone else can help you sort it out!
Thanks for trying. I think I will go to some hardware shop and see if they can figure out..
Try using a headset for making phone calls so that we can identify if it's really the hardware's problem.

I had similar problem when RAM running out. Usually a reboot fix the problem for a bit.
What I did:
1. With Titanium Backup Pro, froze unused RAM hogging system apps, like Google+, Google play magazine, etc
2. Froze or uninstall Facebook, Word with Friends, etc which are resident and hog RAMs .
3. Install marmite kernel, free up more usable RAMs.
Hope it helps you too.

Thanks for the suggestion!
I tried this too but doesn't work...
Try any custom ROM instead of stock ROM and a different kernel too. There could be chances that you've flashed the wrong ROM / radio too.
Sent from my Nexus S
Problem solved.
I went to a hardware store today. The guy said that it's a problem with the 3G service of my carrier (Vodafone India). The moment I enabled the '2G only' option in the Mobile networks settings area, this problem was gone. The technician said that this issue is affecting some people randomly. He said that since 3G service was launched just last year, the networks are not yet capable of handling all kinds of devices (he claims that the bug is so erratic that another Nexus S i9020a may work just fine with the very same bootloader/radio/rom which doesn't make any sense). When I said that 3G service was working fine before, he said that most probably my carrier changed some settings on their side which is causing this issue for me.
I have tried this for 6-8 hours now, making a lot of phone calls and it seems that the issue is gone. It saddens me that I am off 3G for now but at least my phone calls and basic EDGE internet works fine. I will have to work with Vodafone to solve this or simply wait for my new phone (Nexus 4) and hope it won't have the same problem..
