good afternoon, a few days ago I bought a samsung gt-i9300 mt6577 of acuafone and was wondering if anyone has bought them the same model as that model is not able to do root
to see if anyone can tell me some program or something to get the specifications and so we can do things with and I do not dare to do anything without knowing the model

I live in Korea, and went ahead and bought a Galaxy SII phone. I'm very much interested in rooting it, however, after browsing around, couldn't find a solution.
With the wonderfully written threads in regards to rooting, they all seem to be geared for Galaxy I9100's out side of Korea.
I was hoping someone would be kind enough and point me in the right direction for the Korean Models.

I found what I was looking for at matpclub, for specific roms, but need to know some korean to navigate, there are a few threads here that can explain a bit more, ..

I'm travelling to US in a month or so and I wan to get a new phone, the one I have in mind is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (GT-P5100), the problem is that I want to make sure that this specific model is the one compatible with my current mobile service.
I have hired a plan of internet and voice with Telcel.
According to my research, Telcel works on GSM 850/1900 and UMTS 850/1900, is that right?

I have been checking some videos on internet of unboxing of clones of iPhone and Samsung phones since I was interested in buying some replica of a phone (either a samsung or apple)
I find this videos helpful but since I'm a beginner I can't be sure what to choose, there are several that looks the same but they have so different prices.
I wanted to ask you if you could kindly advice me, given your experience with these phones.
Do you think you could help me? Which one would you advice me to buy (price/quality)

Hello everyone I am new here, I have a massive problem with my phone, I bought it from dhgate and was happy with it, 3G started to play up so I complained, he sent links to flash rom and that for which I did and it died, anyhows after 3 days I got it to come to life from reading all the forums, now the screen is not responding at all from any part of it, can anyone help me with a solution ???? The emie has also disappeared and is showing not valid.

Just discovered XdaDev by googling....like the spirit of communal help, hope I can contribute back one day.
Am semi tech on many different things but I've got no 'head space' on mobile tech, rooting and all that goes with it.
The more I read the more I get confused, many posts come assuming you know stuff already or have a 'familiarity',
=MY PROBLEM=
My Galaxy Young GT S6102 keeps filling up as storage is low spec. Due to Samsung forced updates I either factory default it again and run around with no security or Learn to ROOT it and perhaps put a minimal image on it.

Tried looking for my model and although there are some refs here and there I cant find a good NEWBIE GUIDE to do it.
Can someone please point me in the direction with a few links. I'm not being lazy, I spend over 20 hours searching the internet and cant find anything that doesn't leave me with some doubt or missing knowledge [assumed pre knowledge/familiarity].
Don't want to brick my phone, am out of work and can't afford to replace.
