I have setup some mirrors of all the latest ROMS at http://kaiserroms.blogspot.com/
I will upload new ROMS as they become available. Let me know what you think. Hopefully it is not a waste of time.
I will probably upload two more older ones and then just focus on new ones from today on.
Awesome idea. Thanks for the efforts!
Please add ROMeOS, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=406346
ok, it has been mirrorred.
BUMP on this excellent service.
A very fine idea
You can find some of them also in this wonderful mirror by f1ip:
http://f1ip.net/plug.php?e=index& f=./Downloads/KaiserFiles
Thanks to f1ip, and thanks to XDA-Devs
This one goes into my favorites
Thanks...
Cheers for the mirror, much appreciated!
So why isn't anyone producing nexus themes?
There's some great devs out there but no themes?

Look through the sub-fourm that you just posted this thread in.
1. It is time consuming.
2. Most images need to be recreated.
3. People are still too busy playing with the phone/waiting for stable ROMs.

I perfectly understand it's a lot of work. I just was surprised that there weren't more of them. I definitely didn't mean it in a derogative way. I truly give the devs a standing ovation for their hard work and efforts. I guess it's me being impatient as always! Am used to the g1 forums being crammed with new stuff. My apologies if I offended anyone.

Also, I think most of the main themers with the G1 don't have a nexus yet lol. I know one of them just got a nexus, so I need to harass him some more so he starts working on his theme.
I just purchase Nexus One just before few days.Well my experience is positive.Recently I am using some themes which I have downloaded from few sites of themes, but I am not much satisfied from that so I am surely trying to make some new themes in a short period of time.As I complete that I will surely share that here.Till then please keep in touch...

You just bumped it.
why not make one yourself? Theming in the case of resigning and rezipping is easy. Editing the pngs is probably next hardest (esp. when you see what guys like Sir_Mez and Manup456 are able to do- now that is skill) and then you just learn how to fix 9patch drawables- easily done if you spend a bit of time reading. All the information is in the android theming section.
At the moment there is no theme template for cyanogen which is one reaosn why no themes- personally i just have a themed framework-res.apk, services.jar, Launcher2.apk, Browser.apk and vending.apk and each new rom i just still the themed images in to the apk files and push them across via adb- not for general consumption. And unless you barrack for Geelong Football club my theme is no good for you
There are plenty of themes for the Nexus One, just many of them arent found on this site.
Here is mine: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=625306
As already said, there are quite a few out there. Some are flashable, some are morphs.
I think that the apps and themes parts of this forum should be broken apart into two uniques so it is easier from a user standpoint
Ok, so I'm thinking about buying the new Transformer Prime.. It looks great and with the keyboard docking, I see a lot of potensial. I've been searching the market up and down for code-editors specially for tablets, I've seen some, but they all look none-userfriendly. So here is an mockup for an simple, yet powerfull editor that I think would be popular for developers like me.
Anyone?
looks cool
Thanks shockem!
Now, any android-developers out there who could take the task of making this? I can help in many ways, but not that much in the coding since I'm a web developer.
I think that people might pay anything from 0 to 40 USD for a editor that looks great, works great and is easy to use.. Just look what Coda did for mac users..
Edit: I see that I forgot to add tabs for files that are open, I'll add that after work
I'd Love to help however I need alot more experience. I want to release a ics rom for the nexus s after ota for ns is out however Times running short and school holidays are ending. Wish you luck in getting this into reality!

Not sure...ask the dev if that's what he used. It's possible. This launcher is nothing special to me, I used to have an X10 so it was one of the first mods I did.
Someone may recommend the dev for RebelROM to try this? I would, but I'm unable to post in the development section yet... Compared to what RebelROM has, this looks a bit more full-fledged. Those widgets and extra features could do some good for RebelROM!

No need to recommend anything to the dev, just flash the launcher, problem solved! Not everybody like the same launcher, but that's a non-issue with as many launchers as there are out there including the one here this dev has made available for us.
Unfortunately, following instructions in the thread, notice I read it first, still unable to install. Any advice or comments are truly welcomed. I do like this launcher and would love to be able to kick the tires and take it for a ride.
Also, perhaps we all should allow each other, as long as the Devs are OK with it, to suggest things to enhance all of our experience. I kinda like the suggestion to include this launcher as I did your posting about the toggles.

A little respect for each other goes a long way.

Haha, good job
As for why it's not working, I have no idea. I never bothered to try it cause I didn't quite understand the direction clearly and cause I used to have a SE X10 that had that launcher so it's old news to me. Maybe try posting in the original thread and see if they can help you out.
It doesn't matter to me if you guys suggest or request things be added to the ROM, my only reasoning was if it can be flashed to your phone why does the dev need to bake it in to his ROM. Doesn't matter to me what launcher he uses cause I use GoLauncher no matter what.
What would you guys recommend as replacements for the cyanogenmod apps to regain the functionality of the Sense versions of Messaging, Camera, and other apps as well? I tried cm9 out, but kept going back to sense because i've been spoiled by the included apps.
So you guys are showing me that you have NO OPINIONS on what are some really good apps to use as replacements for the camera app and messaging app? Come on, now.
There are 9000 SMS apps on the Play Store. Some have very unique features. But none of those features are better or worse than others. They are are just different. It depends on the user. Some people love 1 app and hate another. Other people love the other and hate the 1.
The best thing to do is try out a bunch of different apps and see which ones are best suited to you. You can make it easier by reading the descriptions in the Play Store and see which ones seem like they even have a shot at being good for you.
But I can sit here and say that Go SMS is the best messaging app in the world and rave about how much I love it....and you might try it and hate it with a passion. So I can't tell you what you're going to like. Neither can anyone else.

I hear what you're saying, but i'm really just wanting peoples opinions on apps. From there, I can go on to try them out and choose what's best for me. I think that that'll be easier to do than going onto the playstore and searching through the thousands of similar apps. Oh, and hey, another Marylander!
U can find peoples opinions on apps in the reviews within the play store... no need to ask people on here too

More opinions available on the Play Store than you could ever find here. Plus screen shots. Plus change logs. And on every app you click on there's recommendations for 4 more apps that are similar to that one!
