Hi..I am a new user in this forum. I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 from AT&T (SGH-777) and later unlocket and I intented to find the way to show in the phone screem, the icoms of 3G/4G from my operator. I don`t know is an option in the menu, an application or theme. Could someone help me in this matter?

I'm trying to get a friends phone working for them in Chile and I can't edit the apn settings on his Stratosphere 2. In the APN settings there is no option to add a new APN. It's a global phone and voice works fine with entel, the provider down here, and I know what the new settings need to be. I thought it would be easy to just edit the APN but the menu to do so is hidden. The only option I have within the APN is reset to defaults. Anyone have any info to help me out? Do I need to unlock the phone to do this? If I do, can anyone point me in the right direction to do that?
Thanks for the help!

Hi !
The required APN ( access point name ) for your network is unique , you can`t change it as you won`t be able to use the network nor achieving faster speed connections.
Cheers !
I called Sprint and they gave me the MSL code for my phone. When I try to change the APN settings all of the settings are greyed out but a few choices and of course not the APN type. ( I am trying to get the hotspot working without rooting it. Any ideas anyone?
I guess I will have to root the phone. I really don't want to but I guess I have no choice.
Hi Crusader,
I'm with Sprint and my phone is rooted and still have no access to many options under APN settings. Did you find a way out? Please share.
