Rooting Galaxy Ace 2

Hi guys just wanting to ask u guys a question.
So i have a galaxy ace 2 having 2.3.6 GB and a baseband version of I8160DXMA1 (bought in singapore)
so I just wanted to ask if I can actually root my phone using this method here

is it okay that i am actually flashing a pda that is I8160XXLD8 ?

1. Yes you can root it!
2. Why did you have to create a new thread for this! You could have just asked in the rooting thread! Please don't create new threads just to ask questions!

Dear people,
I need help rooting my Wolfgang AT-AS40D phone.
I have browsed the internet to find how to do that, but I couldn't find any tutorial.
Is there somebody that knows how to root this device?

Don't know if it's still relevant, but I have the Wolfgang AT-AS 40D2, its successor, and was able to root it with Framaroot: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2130276

Hello Everyone, I'm new to XDA (Yes I am a noob lol). I need a little help, anyone know if I can root the proscan PLT7223G? Or maybe if there's a ROM for it? Anyway, any info you may have would be much appreciated

[Completed] Can I safely install a Custom Recovery on not officially supported phone?

Hello everyone,
I've been given a Digiland DL5003QL phone
I used Kingroot and successfully manage to gain root access but I'd also like to install a Custom Recovery. I'm kind of new of this kind of stuff and I only knew CWM and TWRP whose unfortunately don't officially support my phone model...
Can I install one whitout throwing the phone in the trash? If yes could you give some hints in the right direction?
