I am new to this forum as well new in the Android technology.
Recently I bought HCL ME U1 tablet whose specifications are
Operating System : Android 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich)
Processor : 1GHz Cortex A8
Display : 7Inch 800 x 480 WVGA
Camera : Front 0.3MP
Storage : 4GB Internal Flash Storage
Memory : 1GB DDR3 RAM
HD Playback : Full HD 1080p
Connectivity : 3G Enabled through USB Data Card (WCDMA/EVDO) Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
I/O Ports : mini USB
APP Store : ME App Store
Battery : 4000mAh Li-Polymer
Now just tell me:
1. How can I root my device?. - Can I root using SRSRoot One Click Root for Android
2. Where can I find Clock Work Recovery for my Tablet HCL ME U1.
3. How to take a backup of the stock rom before updating or installing any thing new in the tablet ( before installing CWM)
4. Will CWM delete my basic build while installing it.
5. Any thing else which I need to do apart from this.
6. Inform useful applications.
Please help me . I am asking all these questions as my tablet is new which has 1gb ddr3 ram as compared to previous hcl me u1 which has 512 mb ddr3 ram.

i want to root my mobile and install cwm recovery. Pls make a new discussion or give me the link to root and install the cwm recovery in it and is there any custom rom for it because there are so many apps run with out need to drain the battery and reduce the performance of the mobile pls give the link or suggestion for it also!!!

You can try using vroot.apk or universal root. you can search them in google.

Connectivity: Wi-Fi & Wi-Fi Hotspot, FM Radio, GPS & Bluetooth

And already Installed Version is

I don't think your phone has any developers or has an unlocked/unlockable bootloader. If you can't find much of anything fairly easily for custom roms and other such things for your device, you might be out of luck. I take it you couldn't find any dedicated device forum for your phone on here?

Display 7.85" HD IPS, Resolution 1024x768, Processor A7 Dual Core MTK 8312 1.3GHz, RAM 1G DDRIII, Graphics GPU Mali-400, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, Memory 8GB exp up to 32GB, Front Camera 0,3 Mpixel - Back Camera 2 Mpixel, WI-FI (b-g-n), 3G Voice + Data, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS + AGPS.
The software installed is:
Base Band ver. MOLY.WR8.W1315.MD.WG.MP.V18, 2013/11/29 20:10
Kernel 3.4.5 [email protected] #1 Thu Apr 10 20:55:08 CST 2014

The tab is rooted
Due to a virus the sistem loose Apps like File manager and Keybord and install a lot of trojan and malware .
The factory reset and the HW reset did't resolve.
Can anybody suggest me the way to reinstall a clean system?
