Hi
I have search here but haven't found answer to my problem.
I'm using a custom ROM (AOKP) and I'm able to anable the Tethering Hotspot setting but couldn't find the S3 from any other device.
It's like if the S#, even with the hotspot enable, is not discoverable.
Any having same issue?

I'm wondering if the S3 can be flashed to boost mobile? Anyone have any clue if this can be done? I noticed that it will not operate without the SIM inserted. Any Ideas?

With the jelly bean update the galaxy s3 is now global ready allowing it to be changed to a gsm phone. Since that is the case, will t mobile or AT&T SIM cards work in the USA?

Does anyone know of a stock rooted/custom Rom that allows to add an APN? i am on the clear Rom right now, but you cannot edit the APN on that! so any help would be appreciated!

You probably should of checked that before you flashed it to page plus. Most everyone in here uses a Verizon phone on a Verizon network so you will need to search some more. There was a thread about it. Hope this link helps.

so after reading through some of the forums I couldn't find a clear answer. I rooted and rom'd to liquidsmooth v2.8 and now I have no NFC option. I did a clean install and go no error messages. any idea on things I could try, I would like to use google wallet and obviously cant since I cant get NFC
