suggestion for tablet widgets? - Asus Transformer TF700

I've tried various widgets on my tablet.mostly ones I've used on the one x and they're really suitable on a phone instead of a tablet. Any suggestions?
I've looked at the Asus ones but not available on third party launchers which I prefer.thanks

Most of the widgets I've been using on my SGSII have been perfectly suitable for tablets. Minimal Reader Pro, Simple Calendar (although I'd like it to be able to wrap event texts... if anybody knows how to, let me know!), Beautiful Widgets, HD Widgets... there's probably more as well.

Andro widgets, HD widgets, news republic, reader, feedly, business calender, equalizer. All suitable for tablet screens.

I like Andro Pro widgets and Wizz widgets. Both contain calendar, people, facebook, twitter. Wizz has other extras and so does Andro that they dont have in common.

More widgets and home screens?

I am running virtuous 2.0 (sense based) on the inc and find the stock android and sense calendar, mail, messages etc widgets to be either too small to be useful (android) or too big (sense). Any suggestions on where I can get better widgets from? Just moved from an iphone and my ideal widget would be something like lockinfo that u can install from cydia after jailbreaking it. Basically like a landing page which combines weather, calendar, text messages, mail, missed calls, voice mails, tasks, twitter, rss feeds etc in 1 scrollable screen. Then the rest of the home screens can be used for frequently used apps and other widgets.
Finally, how do I get more home screens than just 7. I certainly can use more. With these big widgets, I have to go to the unsorted app folder to find something. Painful.

Well, I figured out at least some of this on my own. For anybody who is in the same position as me, I would recommend Apps Organizer and Multicon. Between them at least I can squeeze in more apps into the home screens. Still not able to find any info on how to get more home screens than 7 though...

I'm not entirely sure you can get more than 7. All the launchers, themes i've seen use 3,5, or 7 screens

Thanks. That's what i am finding too. Perhaps one of the custom roms can incorporate user set number of home screens?

i posted this in your other thread too:
Pure Grid calendar widget
very customizable, size, tons of themes, and when you click it, it takes you too your google calender ect.. i use it.
its only like $2 in the market, make sure its the grid one, not just the one that says calender.
I was looking for one as well, dug through a few and finally settled on Agenda Widget.
Best one
the best one - for me is - jorte - i tryed many apps - http://androinica.com/2010/04/16/jorte-is-a-promising-android-calendar-replacement-app-reviews/
+1 for Pure Grid Calendar Widget
I am using LauncherPro Plus calendar widget, otherwise Android Agenda Widget is the best for me
I tried a few this past weekend, also looking for a good free one. i ended up settling on CalWdiget. Fairly customizable & seems pretty solid so far.
just my personal preference/opinion..
I suppose I'll vote for Android Agenda Widget, even though this whole thread shouldn't even be here...
Agenda Widget
Big fan of agenda widget, free, fast, simple and customizable.
Calendar Pad.
The weekview is, for me, great. There are also numerous widgets with it, including fullscreen ones, other sized ones and (the one I use) a single button widget (showing date) which will take you to your preferred view (weekview for me).
And it's free

[Q] What is the best calendar widget?

I like the stock widget, but it's too small and I'd really like something different until 3.1 comes out.
I need a Calendar widget that:
looks great on honeycomb
can be resized (or at least be large)
strong customization
Also, I don't mind paying for it. Does anyone have a recommendation?
I use Agenda Widget Plus and I love it! It's scrollable and has lots of customization potential, although it is tedious to customize.

Android Agenda Widget.. its free too
Pure calendar widget.
+1 for Android Adgenda Widget. Still seems a little small at it's max size, but I love it on my Evo, and certainly a step up from the stock one.
Small? Odd.. I'm using the 2x4 widget on my TF home screen and its plenty big enough
Jorte is a really nice Calender with various widgets.

I like Business Calendar
I switched from Smooth Calendar to Jorte to BUsiness Calendar and now stopped at Colorize Widgets. It shows both a monthly calendar and agenda type calendar. happy with it and its free.

AOSP ICS 'Sense' Widgets?

Wondering if someone can help suggest some widgets that offer 'Sense-like' function for an AOSP ROM. I'm experimenting with Virtuous Quattro, but miss certain features, these three for example:
'Friend Stream' integrated Facebook/Twitter widget
'People' avatar dialer (I like the 3x4 display of icons only)
News widget
Clock w/ weather
Thanks in advance!

Try Android Pro widgets. That is about the best there is
Fancy widget for the Sense/weather experience.
Friendstream widget -> Friendcaster
HTC Clock and Weather -> GoWeather
Thanks for the suggestions, guys.
Regarding AP widgets, I tried the free version, but it seems to default to the mobile number, rather than the one that I'd prefer to use. For example, on any given contact you can select the default action (view card, send message... whatever) but you can't select which NUMBER to use if a contact has multiple phone numbers. Am I just not using it right???
Never mind... figured it out after buying the paid version.
Also, one other request - how would you synchronize contacts with Outlook on the desktop? I never really trusted Google with personal information, and now that they've changed the privacy policy, I trust them even less.
Thanks!
I'm sure they have all of your information regardless. LOL. Seriously.

If you're using an android phone Google probably already knows your mothers maiden name, your blood type and has the rights to your firstborn child. Its OK though, because all they want do to is get you to watch YouTube ads. Isn't technology fun?
