Since I got my Galaxy S3 I have hardly used my P3110 at all. So now I am going to sell it. I will try to sell it as a rooted device but in case someone wants it stock unrooted I need to get it back to stock.
I bought the device in Norway. Is it the french version I need to use? And will the warranty be in place if I install this?
(and since I'm lazy and hate searching on XDA I'd appreciate if someone could give me download links for the original ROM).

What rom did you load on when You rooted it? Because this is the link to the "stock" fender rom on cursordroid's post.

I'm currently running that what I'm looking for is the unrooted stock image files there is no benefit of having this phone rooted anyway.

just sell it rooted so the buyer wont have to go through the trouble; how much you selling it for anyway?
Im sorry buddy your screwed. I guess thats another specfic detail I have to add to the fender rooting thread. Once you root, That image is gone. Unless you can find one on the internet and convert it, you will not get it back. Problem is, for us to get recovery to be able to make a back up, we have to wipe the phone clean as is. So once you downgrade its gone.
I think I may just take the fender tut down. its ridiculous at how many people do it, when I have said there is no point, and then ask somethign liek this later.
It can still get OTA updates (over the air) from Tmobile, so just wait about a month and 2.1 will be on there all on its own.
I actually rooted it without your thread. I found your thread when i ran into the no touch problem. I used cursors ROM. I've been working with android phones/ROMs since the G1 came out. I was working on compiling a kernel for the phone because i actually like it(never had a mytouch b4) but now that i N1 i have no use for it and i want to sell it. I guess i'll just have to make a ROM based off one of the 32A port and hopefully the person that buys it of ebay won't know the difference :/

Gime a break dude.. I was just syaing in case because there are a lot of people here who dont know.
And if you were compiling a kernel why did you stop? because the best 3 guys are on it now and they cant get the new drivers to work.

It hasn't even been 3 hours, there's no need for a bump. Also I don't think those cheap knockoffs can be flashed but it's possible. First you have to root it though which is probably possible with one of the "one-click root" apps. Actually flashing one is a bit more involved because of hardware differences. Next time just get the real phone instead of a knockoff, save yourself some headache and heartache at not being able to do everything you want.

Well then take out the "next time"s from my previous post and I stick by it. Knockoffs generally aren't that great. Getting the real version from a store is better, even craigslist or ebay.
I rooted my galaxy note replica with bin4ry it worked perfectly as for flashing i have flashed a few things but to flash a rom it would be harder because i have found out i would have to port the custom rom to work with my device.

What did I miss? Why the assumption that the OP is talking about a "cheap knock-off". Maybe he means a Huawei, or ZTE or something.

Ok, i don't know if this is the right place to ask this question, but i'm desperate. I want to flash my phone that i recently bought in China, but i'm getting no where. The problem is that i can't find recovery mod that will work on my phone. If someone have any idea what recovery mod should i try, please suggest it to me.
I'm using Samsung Galaxy Style Duos I-8262D.

It will depend on the device you have. You should search xda for your device name, but if it is a cloned device, you may not be able to find anything, because some clones are not well supported.

I just bought a Samsung GT-S5570 Galaxy Mini. It's running Android 2.2 and I want to update it to 2.3.3 and get CyanogenMod on it.
I wonder how can I backup the stock rom, so I won't void the warranty after a rom update? If I would need to get it to warranty back with Android 2.2. Cause I can't find the stock rom nowhere.

You probably already know this, but you would have to get the factory ROM directly from Samsung or your cell provider. If you do some searching around you might find it posted somewhere online. Best of luck and happy hacking!
hi guys, i am despertely in need of help, i have rooted my galaxy s3 and installed the cyanogenmod rom onto it. i want to revert to my stock firmware because i dont like the rom but only problem is that i didnt backup my original firmware because i just got really excited installing the cyanogenmod, and i dont like the phone either, i have 30 days to return the phone and cancel my contract so tgat i dont have to pay and early cancellation fee, and i dont think i can return the phone modded. SO PLEASE if anyone can help me with this it would be much appreciated.

Flash one of these roms depending on your carrier: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1711746 . Make sure you read up on how to use triangleaway to hide your flash count.
My phone was soft bricked and I really want to unbrick it without getting a new device, but I can't find the stock firmware anywhere online. Can someone either give me a link to the stock rom or post it if you have it yourself. Thank you in advance!

This is a very rare and obscure android phone, (yes android!) so it's likely that there isn't gonna be anything online unless someone has it themselves.
