How can I find the radio version installed on my phone?
Does the installation of CM7 updates the radio as well?

Yes, you have the latest (KB3).
Ithink it has nothing to do with CM7 because the radio is flashed separately, ok?

Yeah, CM7 doesnt replace your radio. You have to manually push it. Some ROMs may include KB3.

So my baseband it's still KB1, am I missing some great improvements by not flashing the latest baseband? And who developed the KB3 bb? It's trustful?

KB1 is a different version of the same radio. I believe its for European models but it is the latest.

I don't think there's a difference between either americans or europeans models since they work on same frequencies.
I bought my nexus in England and used with O2, than I visited USA and used with T-Mobile and I live in Brazil and use it with TIM. He worked flawlessly in all above mentioned networks. All I had to do was pick the networks that used GSM and HSPDA frequencies supported by the Nexus chipset.
Anyway, I flashed the bk3 radio, so let's how he behave the next days. I was getting frequently reboots so far and all happend when I was using something controlled by radio... So fingers cross!

Alltel just released the firmware update. And I found a Root for it as well. So I am Root.
BUT they have it just like Verizon has it now. You have to have mobile Hotspot plan, BUT only the new firmware can stop the use of the Wireless Tether.
So what I need is to downgrade my milestone X back to what it was before.. Like use a stock rom. But I can't access the clockwork recovery mode since I updated. I have searched almost everywhere. Please help me with this. I'm sure others are looking for a way to do this as well.
I can apply update.zip via Stock recovery mode, and i can also access bootloader.

I recently did the same and experienced the exact same frustration with tethering. I have searched and searched for answers. I too believe that we need to downgrade, but I now have an boatloader error. From what I am reading, the error comes from the phone not accepting the downgrade. Unfortunately, I can't find the 2.3.5 sbf to load back on it.

Hey!
I just flashed my i9000 to CM10, and its a thing if beauty. Except for my data signal strength. I have looked through the provided list and cannot find a modem recommended for Bell Canada. Any suggestions? And whats the best way to install/upgrade modem software? Thanks a bunch!!!
(edit) Also, how do I find out what modem version I am currently using, so I dont try it again if trial-error comes up?

Your S2 is a bell/virgin i9100M and the CM10 is Jellybean 4.1.2?

DMH1 MODEM | Fixes unknown IMEI / No signal

This is a cmw flashable zip of the latest DMH1 modem for the n7100 for anyone who has updated to a DME6 rom and is stuck with no signal, no imei or a buggy modem...
This one seems to have fixed all issues for me. Before it used to be slow and speeds were all over the place. Now I get a steady speed when on wifi.

Yes sir, according to SamMobile it was just posted the other day for the 4.1.2 Turkey and Slovakia updates.
Although I would only flash it if you're having problems currently. If you did not update and got stuck with DME6 modems do not flash it.

mh1 is the csc..it still carries mg1 build but turkey has got mf3 build

There has to be changes because I used to get 3-4mbs on my wifi now I'm getting the full 35+ download

CSC is not Baseband ( Modem is XXDMF1) in all Sammobile FW.
CSC is the Country...Hidden-senttings my Friend .
When you fix the other Modem ( Baseband) for the Note 2 and FW MG6 or MG1 than write not here is new Modem MH1....Ride.
The Problem with Imei is in MG6 and MF2 and finish.

Modem has absolutely nothing to do with WiFi. WiFi is handling by the kernel and a different chip from the cellular connection.

Exactly, this one is misleading
MH1 is not modem but CSC, it still carries MF1 modem. If you refer according to number then still MG1 is latest modem. But still i don't recommend anyone to update it except this one is for your region. Likely you will get best result for network on your own regional baseband not on latest of other region.

i like that XDA brings both the most awesome and amazing knowledge base, and the stupidest ideas missing even the most basic knowledge of what some people are messing around with

If there's no changes in this modem then comparing the files should give the same results and what I am seeing is major differences in the two files... It might have the same build name but it is not the same modem. Also, I know the issues I was having with wifi and now I am not. The modem is the only thing that was changed.

I had 'not registered on network error' when moved from 4.3 test roms to some of custom 4.1.2 roms. After flashing this zip, phone functionality works fine without error.

The reason is the modem is not a DHM1 modem, it's from a DHM1 rom however it does have changes to it compared to a different DMF1 modem.
The best modem is any modem before DME6, but if you're stuck using something after that then this one seems to be ok for me.

I need your help to solve this problem. My Imei is ok by the serial number has gone "0000000". I had network but could not dial of message anyone, in other words "No Mobile Network Connection". I used the Azira's Patch and now I am able to make calls. Is there any way to get back the serial number back on the phone, without screwing up the IMEI. All this happened after the stability update OTA from Samsung.

[Q] Issue on all FXP based roms

On all fxp roms, I get no connection to my carrier only wifi works and my imei and baseband both state unknown! How can I fix this!
