I get approx. 24 hrs with heavy usage.. around 2 hrs of music 1-2hrs chaton\whatsapp and sometimes games as well with wifi on 24/7
is there any battery with larger capacity ?
Seems these battery from flipkart are really good I ordered 1 from here
http://www.flipkart.com/samsung-eb5...acker=from-search&query=samsung i9003 battery
& was delivered in 2 days time charged it fully & then discharged it fully repeated this for 4 cycles & after that I am now getting 26-30hrs with moderate usage. Now my charge doesn't loose over suddenly & phone hasn't randomly rebooted since last 15 days or so as it was happening with older battery below 40% I was sure that battery will give up any time.
A good practice is always fully discharge (let the phone shut off) then recharge fully without using the phone if possible so now I use the phone for almost 24hrs without recharging & then charge the phone only in night when I am not using it at all.
I bought one for my SL recently as well from flipkart and am extremely happy with its backup. My phone now lasts more than 1.5 days on medium to heavy usage.

Thanks for the review. Might be something to check out for.
Just got mine today. From ioomobile. They've got it on sale for $17 + free shipping (on their website) or $19 from eBay.
See how it runs over the next few days. Usually get around 35 hours (light/minimal use) or so on miui 1.7.8 on stock battery.
I'll post back after a day or two and report if it's any better.

If you've got the battery drain on 1.7.8 here's the fix (install as a regular app and restart)
Hope it helps. Worked for me, had terrible drain before the fix.

Once the huge redesign hits (apparently this week) I will give it a go
this is a very good battery i have it for 2 weeks and it does now 3 days one darky jvp base rom with normal use
1e charge about 8 hours from full then drain thil empty
trie to start the phone untill its do nothing then charge phone when he is off for 8 hours then go to clockworkmod with charge cable attached and wipe battery statistics now start youre phone and wait until it says 100 % unplug it and use it till the phone shutdown and charge again 8 hours with the phone off untill 100% power up the phone and wait til 100% is given then youre battery statistics calibratit with the bigger capacity.

for a stock fit this would be the best, if you want a larger battery with back then I would recommend their 2700
I've received my 1700 momax battery last week and it's very good!
2 days with medium usage and CM7
Could someone pls do a real test? white screen, max brightness screen on time till shutdown compariaon would be great. everything else ia just not really compareable.
I've had my Momax 1700 mah battery for about 3 weeks now and it's performing well. I have a noticable increase in battery life, deffinitely more than a day, up to almost two days depending on usage.
I'm not a heavy user, main usage would be a few calls, internet and bit of video/movie viewing a day.
I'm on Juwe's 5.3 ROM with a Semaphore 1.5/1.6 kernel. Am also just trying the latest GalaxianGT kernel and seem to be getting similar battery life.
"1e charge about 8 hours from full then drain thil empty"
what do you mean? a full battery then charge it again 8 hours? or charge it with external device? i dont understand. the rest makes sense but this is....
Got this battery from ebay (ioomobile user). I have it in my possession for one week now. It went through 3 full charge/discharge patterns and the beefed capacity is getting noticeable now. I'm easily getting 2 days out of my phone (~36 hours) compared to ~24 I was getting with the one year old original battery. I'm actually using my phone daily for music - emails - web browsing having the display on for about 3 hours/day.
I highly recommend this battery nor necessarily to the recent SGS owners but more to the ones having these gadgets for about one year .

im running cm7 and juiced defender ultimate on my phone, i typically go 16 hours before reaching 50% battery left. that's listening to media using wifi all day at work and such. maybe i have a supper battery or something or maybe the combination really works well. it is totally worth the 4.99 price for it.

Yes the Anker batteries and external charger work quite well for me, find them on Amazon or ebay.
I got a couple of MaxPower 2000maH batteries off ebay (2 for $9 with free shipping). Wasn't expecting much, but damn these things really work. With one in and using Easy Battery Saver on intelligent, I can usually get about 2 days (36-48 hours) of battery easily on my light-moderate use (reading email, listening to audiobooks/music, a few games occasionally, texting and the occasional phone call). I am on CM7 and usually keep wifi and BT off, but GPS on (though it usually is powered down by EBS and my lock times are crap even with the aGPS patch)
Totally worth it. If you want them search for u9000 2000 mah

I'm still on the first charge. I was at just over 22hrs of standby, 2hrs of on screen usage, 15 minutes voice calls, and some texts and emails sitting at 63% still. This would have brought my original battery down to about 30% at least!

This is why Samsung needs to make their own OEM fat battery , the 1800mAh is great but I won't take it seriously until it matches the price of the "3500" batteries

Yeah...I just got my 3500MaH in today. Running videos back to back so as to run the battery down and charge to full. for $7.69 plus the $5 for Express Shipping, I jumped on it like a starving man jumps on a steak. Came with 28% charge...took about 2+ hrs to run it down til it shut itself off. Charging it as I type this comment.
[Edit 1] OK, I've fully recharged and calibrated the battery. One short call and a movie. Battery went from 100% down to 62% then 55% in less than 2 minutes. I rebooted and it suddenly dropped down to 15% within a 3hr period. Will try a 2nd recharge to see if it does any better.
[Edit 2] After fully recharging and calibrating a 2nd time, the battery drain is a lil better. Now 90% after being off charger for 4hrs 24 mins. Hopefully, it'll be even better after a 3rd recharge.

I also agree with the ET4G 1800mah OEM battery. They are 20% more MAH than stock and last almost exactly 20% longer.
When you say your phone dies in 4 hrs, is that 4 hrs of constant screen on time, or 4 hrs of idle/sitting around time? 4 hours of screen on is going to be pretty good for this phone and I could not get that much on the stock battery. With the 1800mah I could probably get a bit over 4 hours screen on time.
On the other hand if your phone is dying after 4 hours of mostly sitting idle, you've got a problem, most likely a software problem. Flash back to stock, fully charge the battery, and then give it a test and see what happens.

Can not buy Anker in Vietnam, so that I always choose the original htc 1730 mAh.

Thanks everyone, my baterry is on the way , ill give quick rewiev on it as i will use it.
I've had good luck with my Anker, but it appears that the battery contacts may be a bit deeper recessed into the battery than the factory HTC one. I had to pry the phone battery contacts out a bit to ensure a good connection (phone was mysteriously rebooting). Battery life has been excellent; depending on ROM, between 24-40 hours (assuming 2-3 hours screen on).
Thanks for the heads up
I just ordered mine, and will edit this post here about my findings. :fingers-crossed:
Yesterday i got my anker , the package looked nice and undamaged.
Things i've done so far :
1.Inserted the baterry and charged it to 100% took not so long 4-5 hours (Was ~70% stock) and did baterry wipe
2. Now will use my phone till the baterry will be at 10-2% and will charge it full again (it said that you need to do that 3-4 times so baterry calibrates with the phone)
Baterry was 100% about 22:00 it kept 100% untill 24:00 (some texting , looking at the time)
In the morning the baterry was at 88% - not doing anything
Now at 12:25 its 52% screen on 1h13m
13:28 -------- 40% , wow it sinks pretty fast with texting and not so many of it.
used mobile network (about 30mins ) with facebook 15mins and a game 15mins., had one phone call and texting mostly.
While playing game the baterry was very close talking about the heat as original but not enough to reach level of finger burning .
original answer what to do with fresh new baterry from ianker.com
After receiving your Anker battery, we recommend our you let it fully charge until it reach 100% with your phone power off. It may take 6 to 8 hours. In order to help the Anker battery calibrate with your phone, please let the phone discharge until it reach 20% then recharge it completely with your phone off). Do this 2 to 3 times in a row to be sure that the phone fully calibrate with the new battery. After that, you can use discharge and charge the phone as you wish. Note: For optimal use, discharge down to 10% and charge completely at least once a month.
