Since the marketplace closed where is the best place to buy and sell android device???
Thanks
Evilbay, craigslist, amazon, forum members, yard sale, consignment stores

Thanks but those are the obvious ones, and really not that good if you ask me. Im looking for another forum marketplace to buy and sell like new or new devices. Feebay has nothing for what im looking for, same for CL.
CTO!!! Most members from here go there to sell there stuff now. Celltraderonline.com
This should be put on the front page... I'm surprised more members don't know about this site. All your favorite members are there!

The Moto Triumph will be released here in the US on July 19th and a forum would be awesome. I started this topic over in the Android Hacking section without realizing that this was where it needed to be. About 5 of us over in the other section signed the petition. Hopefully we have more luck here. I predict a lot of themes and roms for this device will surface. It is thought to be a rebadged Huawei Ideos X6, so it might be easier to develop for than other Moto phones.

I second that motion!
We need to get more people to agree to this! Haha. This is going to be a great device for the market.

+1 to the triumph forum. I would love development. I don't think it'll be completely necessary, but always something I want with an Android phone.

I posted a link to this thread in the other topic. Let's get the ball rolling!

+1 from me. I'm going to hope this on sale at radioshack when it comes out. They usually do that. Fingers crossed....

Full hdmi mirroring, adreno 205, etc. Im excited.
Coming from a galaxy s, the screen type will be drastically different but paying 25 a month instead of 73 is worth it!

Yes sir radio Shack will have it for sure. I'm already thinking of rooting this phone with super one click root lol
Definitely, need a section here. It's the first high end phone with Virgin Mobile and it will attract a lot of users.
I agree, please create a new forum section for the triumph.
I think the fact that when you search for this device on google, this thread comes up, will help us get our subforum. People are going to love messing with this phone.

+1 I'll buy this phone as soon as I see it in stores. Would love to root it and mess around with it!
+1 I too would like too see this forum and Motorola Photon 4G as well.
Im sure the photon will be getting a subforum in due time. Im campaigning for the Triumph to get one because I do not want it to be overlooked because it is a prepaid device.

I have the money set aside to pick this bad boy up. I would love to see a community around such a device.
Ordered
I pre-ordered mine from Bestbuy, and ordered a Skinomi screen protector from Amazon.
I hope that best buy price matches.

This is the next phone I'll be getting, i hope the community really gets behind it.
Based on the response here, at HoFo and PrepaidAndroid- I can see this phone having a thriving community.

I'm keeping an eye on this phone. Rumor at HoFo was that Virgin was going up to $35 a month, but haven't seen any dates.
I really liked the Optimus V, and plan to move to Virgin sometime soon. A Triumph would be nice. Hopefully some 'slickdeals' happen on it soon.
Hey guys just snagged one of the 32gb for $160 at office depot just wanted to share with anyone who's interested in the deal and to any devs out there who might be interested in trying to port android onto it.

If you're waiting on Amazon or want to easily track HP TouchPad sales, be sure to keep checking http://touchpadtracker.com.
Cnet reported places selling it for $99 yesterday.

So other stores are reported that they're sending their touchpad back to HP which means more to sell coming from HP.

Got one @$85 from HP yesterday night.
Need find the way to change to Android!
is there any possibility of getting honeycomb to run over webOS or in place of it? If that's possible, I'd be all over that.
hell even if android couldn't be ported over, it's still a great deal to watch movies on and browse the web with flash
Craigslist is the best list

No. Craigslist would be people buying for 99/150 16/32 GB units and trying to sell them for 200/250, just like eBay.

This is exactly what is happening, funny you said that. Just went on craigslist and people are overpricing, but you can still buy it. Best Buy is selling it now also, and RadioShack might!
i just purchased one from the hp small business website.

since xda marketplace has been closed, i have had a hard time finding another forum site to buy phones.
what do u guys use?
(not including craigslist)
What is wrong with craigslist? I have bought, sold, and traded many phones locally through cl.
Sent from my GT-N7005 using xda premium
eBay n locally for me mercadlibre
I bought this phone on eBay. Great dude, phone perfect. Just make sure you're covered and that there are no omissions or anything in the listing.
Craigslist is okay, but it's a little bit more complicated to not get burned and you're best looking for advice pertaining to your carrier.
There are also some phone market sites, but I've never used them.

eBay is a great option. You have to be very patient and wait for the right deals. Don't overpay. Do some research to understand what the used price is for the phone you're looking for.
I upgraded to a Samsung galaxy Sii, and now I want to sell my inspire. It has a cracked screen, but its only the top corner. It also has an otter box case, charger case, and another tpu case. What could I realistically get for it?
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda app-developers app
I bought mine for 80 bucks but if you try to sell it to gazelle they'll try to tell you 25 and that's for a better condition phone...just keep the inspire, its not really a bad phone just a little outdated

Check how much they are sold on ebay and amazon, compare to your local dealers and sell it accordingly.
Sent from a dream.
Ok, it really surpirses me how much these have come down in price in the last year.

It should not really. The phone is over two years old, single core processor, and officially no support past GB. ICS has been out for some time and now JB is out on its second iteration already (4.1 then 4.2). All of this drives prices way down. This is simply the way technology depreciates. The same thing happens with laptops and desktops...regardless of how clean it is.
I would base my asking price off what they are going for on ebay.
Moved your question to the Q&A forum. You might try our partner site swappa.com. Use your XDA account to login.

I'm bored with my AT&T one x, want to let it go.
Not sure of etiquette with posting for sale items, can I do it in this forum?

There is a marketplace thread in the general forum. Your best bet would be Swappa. Nothing but phones on there. EDIT: Marketplace actually says to use swappa.

Ebay maybe...or even Craigslist.
Selling items is no longer allowed on XDA. Try eBay or Craigslist.
Swappa would be my recommendation, just log in with your XDA account
