As far as I'm aware it won't work on ASOP/AKOP roms.

When I had a test with JellyBam it had radio but didn't try it to see if it really works.

Aight I am going to try jellybam

Ya that's the same one I had on my old phone but on CM7 so might need setting up to get it working.

Audio quality

What rom would you say has the sound quality that the stock inspire has. I tried cm7s and miui's and the sound is not great. Dsp manager doesn't help much.

Did you flash the audio fix when running CM7 or MIUI?
Yeah but still sounds the same
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA Premium App
I'm running cm7 and it sounds just like stock, try flashing a rom that is based off the inspire, and not one that is based off of desire hd. See if that solves your issue.
Ok well if your cm7 sounds like stock then where was that located so I can try it

Download from the first post (op). I personally prefer the bfs one.
Once downloaded booting into recovery. Select instal from SD card, to go to downloads folder and install. Then reboot!
Some people clear cache and dalvic but some dont.
O when your ready you can also try the new recovery. Link in my sig. Alot of us ninjas are using it.

Have you tried changing radio and ril? Also people, including me, have had major luck changing the apn.
Btw this stuff is not just on ninja people do it on all roms lol
Sent from my Inspire 4G using XDA Premium App
Haven't tried it. Sound is still weird kinda scratchy and staticy.
Sent from my Inspire 4G using XDA Premium App
What radio do u use? You may wanna try a new one
Sent from my Inspire 4G using XDA Premium App
Before you jump ship on a rom please explore the other things such as the apn fix and changing radios and rils. It could be those things in your area that needs to be fixed. Dont blame the rom until you try those. I do them everytime I flash a new ninja update. Been with this rom for a while and never had an issue. Give these things a shot!

Im not worried about the signal bars. Id rather have good sound quality lol

There already is one in some sense ROMs. Not for aosp yet though
Sent from my One X using xda app-developers app
Well there is I heart radio. But if you are like. And don't like to use data, I would use spirit FM. Its requires root and uses the headphone as an antenna. Works wonders
Sent from my Carbon-ize Evita using xda-developers app
Lol no like your radio signal I've seen some ROMs or forums where you can download a different radio or flash on rather and it makes your signal better depending on your area. I'm wondering if there is one for this phone?

I found out it was a problemwith the maps app and the 3d visual graphics causing it to crash. What I have to do to fix it is press the compass in the navigation app to put it on 2d mode. It's the red and white compasson the upper right corner... I used my navigating for about three hours today without it crashing...

ROM Options

Is there a ROM available that has Zram with GPS working?
I've been trying to find anything with the search function, but nothing seems to pop up.
Try an ICS ROM.

Thanks! But do you know if any that include Zram? From what I understand, it needs to be enabled in the kernel...

I think you are looking for Beastmode's Proton Kernel. Or something like that... can't remember if that is the right name. Or try Team Fah-Q's version of CM9

Beastmode's CM 10/ 4.1.2
Has the zram but not GPS....
