Question - General Questions and Answers

Hi all!
Does someone know a good app that can be installed on my GF phone so i can audio record remotely? I was using Cerberuss but dont like it any more... If someone knows pls tell .
THX
She owns Sony XS and its rooted ...if that helps .
Thx

You can check out the app 'spy tools' or if u want to record phone calls then u might want 'call recorder pro'. They are very good apps and they serve their purpose well. Have a good day!

Doing a little spying, are we? Have some trust issues? Not my business, I suppose.
What don't you like about Cerberus? Another similar app is PhoneLocator Pro, which lets you turn on audio recording remotely.

Thx for the answers ill check those apps..... Hope they are hidden in app list
Cerberus = i licke it but its buggy and last days its not working well at all.
thx again

[Q] Call policy

Oke folks i have a simple question.
I need a WORKING call policy app, i dont care whether paid or free. I've tried several apps from Android Market but theres one problem with them, neither runs in background or automatically starts after phone restart. Even if the description says they do ... they dont, like Call Manager PRO for instance. All i need from this app is when i set up a time interval, example 8PM-8AM, only certain phone numbers will be able to call me/reach me in this time period, rest will get either redirected or sent back SMS with some random "not available, will call laters" sms. I was getting through out the Sensation apps and setting and theres nothing like that build-in by default, unlike iPhone for example.
Is it realy so hard to find a working app, which doesnt autoclose when i start another app or auto starts after phone restart. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Use root call blocked pro. I have been using it for a month now. Works for me.

unfortunately iam not rooted nor iam planning to be, thanks anyway
I use Call Filter, but it does not have time of day scheduling like you want. I have been using this one for years on 3 different phones and it does what I need it to do.
Maybe this one?

Some browsers are flash-compatible, but just test the sites you want to use on an Android device you already have - see if it works. If so, you're good.
Otherwise, you might consider building a mini computer for the task. Also a good idea because Flash is no longer officially supported and may stop working at any time since it's not going to be updated any more.

Is it worth it?

So I've been looking at the smart watches and just wondering if they are really worth the money. I have an s3 so what features would it really have? Thanks

well i can talk only with my experience.
first of all i bought it because i need a good tool to pass through tracks in spotify without having to take out of the trausers and open the phone each time.
Then i also bought it coz i can't be all the day looking at my phone. with it i can just see which whatsapp notifications are important enough to answer.
when i had it i noticed that it also have twitter but i dt use it a lot.
the other apps for me are not very important.
hope that this small "review" helped somehow

Ok thanks man, I was gonna get one for simple, don't need to pull out the phone use. Seems like it's the watch to get, thanks again.

If you use Instant Messaging and Social apps, these are perfect.
Since you will always wear it(I assume), it will push to you notifications you would need.
There are also apps made for it(GPS Map, Calendar, Sports Trackers, etc.) that makes it better.
Can we have heart rate monitoring with the watch (with or without an ant+ band?)
I won mine at the XDA Devcon in Miami. I love it. I was missing calls from being away from my desk and the phone on silent. Now I don't. It rocks.

The best Feature is the GPS Map
Actually I would not leave the house without this clock!
So I am new here, however, I have been thinking of the idea of a smart watch or band, " the quotes, or in thought of...
But seems more lately watches are a thing of the past like in the movie apprenticeship, more people use their phones for checking time or setting alarms,
I do like the nfc enable features I.E phone music streaming, media playback, pedometer, so on, is Sony the brand to go with in that aspect?

[Request] App idea to a dev...maybe

Hi community,
A few days ago I saw a thread asking for some app ideas.
But unfortunately now I can't find it.
However my idea is as below.
1. An app which can activate a background sound during a call which will be able to heard from the other party of the call. For example if we activate a rain sound the other party listening will think I am in a rain situation. Or may be a urban town sound. without using network just to run from local phone.
2. An app to receive calls and save them as voicemail after several number of rings. Actually I personally think it's a waste to pay mibile companies for voicemail when we can totally save the voice cuts to our local phone. Again this app also without using network connectivity just run using the local mobile.
So above are my requests.
They might sound silly to most of you or may be they are already there which I am not aware of.
If so please share your knowledge in a comment.
Thanks xda community for giving me a chance to share my idea.

Hi jack..I'll suggest my friends to do the test..
I'm really hope you can make a phone ringing in silent mode since notification sound for sms is to short (just 1 or 2 second)..So it difficult to track the phone all around the house if someone forget to place it.. Is it possible to do it?.. Thanks..
Tried it on my Galaxy Note II and it did not work. Tried sending messages from 2 different phones. I am running SlimKat 4.4.2 and using Hangouts as my default messaging app.
Tried on my Galaxy S4 4G, Put my phone on silent and then sent the message from another phone and instead of playing the Alarm tone which i set up, it just played my normal notification sound (Whistle)
confirmed working on nexus4...double aces man!!!
Thanks
Really am little confused can you explain me more.. The Alarm will ring around 2mins if am right
We had a plan to call from one particular number which is set already in app. In-case if the mobile number not there, what will happen in that case its kind of pain.. you can send sms very easy even using any person mobile... ..
