I want a music player that has a song database, an interface like the Google music app, and shows embedded lyrics. Astro is close but I can't find any skins that are close plus its a very clunky interface. Basically I just want the cover art on one side of the screen and the lyrics on the other. I'm hoping there is one that I haven't tried yet. Thanks in advance for any input.

no need of internet...like iphone.....
The current Music player in the Wolf Rom...can comeup with one more facility of lyrics on the player itself....
even one of Nokia's 5800 symbian has such kind of facility.....
like if there is a lyrics with the song itself...
the player will display that....
but, if there is no lyrics with the song...
it will search internet.....

MIUI music player has lyrics.
MIUI Music or SE Themed MIUI Music
The way the iPhone gets the lyrics is by the MP3 file itself. You add it to the Lyrics tab under the "get info" option when you right click the song. Hope this helps

Android does not natively support the ID3v2 USLT necessary to display lyrics. I added a new feature request that would give Android support for reading USLT in the ID3 tag. hi there! the standard music player loads me all audio files from my card but i dont whant that. on my windows pfone was simple. i had core player. loaded just the folder of music and go! here... i don't know. i gotta make playlists bla bla bla...dont have pacientce to load every song in playlist.
is there a player to be able to do that on android 4 & control the player with the headset. or is any easy way to load just a folder in the standard music player. btw... i have also winamp... same problem

i use the phone to lisen to music while i jogg.

I'm not very sure if ttpod has the folder mode. Give it a try. And yes its free

MixZing is also a nice music player with eq, playlists, lockscreen, sleep timer... Free version is enough to play music everyday
I prefer vanilla music. I think it's on the play store but I got it from
F-DROID.

I'm looking for a music player that can show the lyrics of the songs. I know player pro or ttpod can do that but i want to put the lyrics on my own. I used to have an iPod and i was putting the lyrics with iTunes. While i was listening to music i was able to change the musics too but i cannot do it with player pro. Can anybody help me?

Hi. First of all, great work! :good: It's a nice app (visually and conceptually). Anyway, I have some opinions and suggestions.
The app don't synchronize the album covers very well. I have a folder with 906 songs and it only downloaded the cover of a Franz Ferdinand's song.

The memory consumption is a little high, almost the double that other player (GoneMAD is a music player full of unused options).

I miss some options like Ticker notifications, Inactivity timer, lyrics viewer, sort songs by artist and delete songs directly from the app.

Hi Llamero. Thanks for your report! I 'll try to get working all these suggestion..(maybe the next thing will be a playing song screen). App syncronizes de cover of first song that has metada in the album. It costs lots of resources/time each ask for last.fm API. And yes, i have to clean the code in order to consume less memory

I was looking for a simple music player and this is a really good option.
I'm using since last 2 weeks and can tell....
1- Didn't found a way to delete a playlist not a track inside it (Opened a folder and later deleted some tracks, they are still there... No way to remove them.)
2- Sometimes player pauses itself when passing to next song, then I have to press "pause" button in order to continue, it's pretty annoying (can be something with my phone?).
3- A timer function could be nice.
I'm using Lollipop 5.1.1, CM 12.1 in a Galaxy S3.
