Yes. They are the same. You also can find other names of this model Samsung Galaxy S SLCD and so on. Just look at the code of the model (i9003) and you will see they are the same

you can go ahead and root your mobile but just make sure you follow the correct rooting instruction for I9003 only.

The Galaxy i9003 can also be found as Galaxy SCL (in Spain is labeled like that).

The last time I ask about same thing. Some smartass tell me to Google it. But I will tell u to search at Ganish thread about the cfroot for all the firmware version. Read through it and find something about root.zip.
But careful read all the instructions and understand it or you get soft brick.

i dont know about that helping you root your phone but just google LT29i root or your Devices name/root. its a Xperia TX right?
