Settings/Lock screen/Lock screen options
If "Lock screen options" is greyed out, then you have a PIN or pattern enabled, which disables the lock screen options.

Hi, any way to remove the haptic feedback in default lockscreen.
I am with JB 4.1.2 Germany O2.
I disabled it in sounds, but still vibrating in default lockscreen.
Thank you !

I'd like to be able to do this as well, haven't found the option (if it exists.)
I am root , are any way to disable this ?
In other forum told me that disabling haptic feedback in sound its disable it in the lockscreen, but not for me
Try... settings > lock screen > screen security > screen lock (slide) > select "slide"
and from there uncheck "vibrate when unlocking"
This took me a good while to figure out!

Hi all,
Flashed the 4.1.2 German update yesterday on my Dutch note, but something is missing; I can't select to add the Lockscreen ticker in the Display settings. This also wasn't there when I still had ICS. It should be there now though...right? Or is it a setting somewhere else I'm missing?
Thanks!

Settings / Lock screen / Lock screen options / information ticker
NOTE: Lock screen options will not show up if you have the lock screen set to none.
.
I've tried to find this in settings but have had no luck. Does the VZW lock screen have this option? In Settings-> Security, I have no lock screen option.
Running stock rooted 4.1.2. Thanks!
Do you have Settings/Lock Screen? It should be there I think on VRBMB1. I'm on a custom rom so I'm not sure how much is changed. Or maybe even under Settings/Display?

Settings > Lock screen > Lock screen options > Shortcuts (touch the text not the switch)
I do.........but it's only available if Swipe Lock is active - which I don't use. I only use pattern lock.
So you can have lock screen shortcuts unless you swipe on the lock screen?

Make sure to select secure lock with swipe in the lockscreen settings. Then shortcuts should work with security.
Note the option does not show itself until after you've set your pattern or pin
Not interested in having to unlock my phone twice.
That is the most ridiculous set-up I've seen. Is that Samsung standard or VZW?

To have shortcuts on the lock screen, and NOT have to swipe, then pattern unlock.
But if it's not swipe then unlock, wouldn't that defeat the purpose of having a lock at all ? Also it's not swipe to unlock. Its swipe to select the app then it goes to lock.
I have a GT-S700 runing the Inspiration Rom V16 and it either starts up with the installed screen lock or a Holo screen lock. http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/frown.gif
I would like to use the Holo screen lock only, is this possible?
solution

Thankyou for replying.
My lockscreen setting appears to be on NONE by default but intermittantly I still get the original lockscreen to swipe followed by the holo lockscreen to swipe?

I'm on the latest Android 10 beta so I don't know if it's the same, but go to settings, security and lockscreen, then tap the gear icon that's next to "screen lock", then enable the option "disable quick settings panel on lock screen"
