I accidentally selected wipe system while i was on the stock rom slot. What do i need to do to get it back? I was on JB, and of course the only phone i have ever had that I didn't make a backup for before messing around with stuff. Thanks in advance.
Bump. Please help.

That is what I was going to do if there wasn't an easier way like flashing something in safestrap. I will probably go ahead and do that.

One more question...
If a phone won't boot, and one cannot get into ROM Manager, how can a restore be done?
Do you have a link to that guide? I cannot find it.

Through the recovery on the phone
No problem! Check the Motorola Droid X general section. There might be some good insight as to how to solve your problem. I'm sure you can try the "factory reset" option. Good luck!

So I'm running into difficulties updating to jellybean.
I'm rooted on stock 4.04,with the bootloader unlocked, and have vodoo ota installed.
When installing the update, it prompts me in cwm to install the untrusted package. So I click ok to continue.
A quarter way through it fails and reboots, then continues to reboot continously after it powers up to the home screen.
What am I doing wrong, what should I disable to install this ota update.
Thanks in advance

If you have safestrap installed, you need to uninstall it first.
So would safetrap be the equavlant to clock work mod?

Possibly. If you can live without it temporarily without losing root, give it a try. For the update to work, you need to have your phone "stock" with the exception of being rooted, which you can protect with rootkeeper. Any apps that came stock, need to be there, etc. also make sure that your SU binaries are updated as well.
I tried the temp unroot and tried installing it, but it didn't work. I'll attempt to un install clockwork mod, and temp unroot and try it again.
Would you be able to save me some time and point me in the right direction for removing clockwork mod please

I'd say this is probably your problem. Always better to use TB, and just freeze the bloatware, but leave it in place.

Okay thanks! I had the utility on my desktop. I rerooted it too cuz SU seemed to be missing. And the stupid update has popped up again!!
I wanted to install the Moto X camera on my RAZR HD but also wanted to stay with the stock cam, ended up with none of them. They told me to rename the MotCam.apk I did it using Root Explorer and also renamed the odex just in case, when I launch back to homescreen the Camera app was missing. Also, the Gallery app is on the app drawer, so the only problem is the cam app. Any way I can recover it back? Or do I have to reset or flash back to stock rom?

Did you do a back up of the camera app in titanium back up?

Well, I've been able to go to the MotoX and back to stock camera a few times without trouble. I'm glad it worked out for you even though you had to do a factory reset.

Sorry to bother, but can you give me some sort of tutorial on how to stay with both cameras without losing one and having to reset again? I messed up the first time because I renamed it wrongly. Your help will be appreciated.

Ah hah, I realize now you were trying to run both cameras installed at the same time. My apologies, I did not try to do that, instead I installed one or the other.

Okay, I'm here at best buy looking to upgrade my droid razr hd to an lg g2 but they said I need to put my phone bank to stock before they take my phone as a trade in. Can I do that really quick while I'm here at best buy?
Thank you all in advance.

If you have a stock image, you can flash that and use supersu to perm unroot but the bootloader will still be unlocked
Sent from my XT926 using Tapatalk
They didn't care about the bootloader being unlocked, they just want superuser gone. I don't have a stock image with me, how can I get a hold of one?

what i would have done is go outside for a few minutes and uninstall the su app. there is no way you could have flashed it in the store. @ home you can use this from your pc to flash it back to stock http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2474393 although there is no way to lock the bl back as previously stated.
