Changing fonts - RAZR HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Has anyone tried changing the font? Either by flashing new ones or making edits anywhere?

I used the font changer app in market to change my font several times. No problem.
Swyped while swerving from my Droid Razr Maxx HD

There are several different apps. Any chance of getting a link to the one you used?
Thanks in advance!

That's up to you. I've generally left it at whatever is selected by default.
I know Clocktopia is the font used on the lockscreen clock so if you want that to be something completely different you can choose a different font for it specifically.
I've never gone through and tried to switch each one individually to see what actually changes.
Hmm.... that might be something to do at some point.

I have tried to changed all and it goes into bootloop... i think something with framework font....
P.S.: What about the ones i show on screenshot? What they change?

Droidsans is the default font so if you change that one it will change the standard font.
Are you rooted? Both apps require you be rooted to work.

Honestly, I'm not sure where those fonts show up within the UI. You'd have to change them to see what exactly, if anything, changes.
Be sure to backup whatever you're changing in case it doesn't look right once changed. Sometimes fonts are too big or too small and don't look good once changed.

That's what I did and everything seemed to change fine. If you want specific fonts to be changed you'll have to experiment to see what each one changes. Unless someone else knows for sure what each one specifically changes.

Enviado desde mi XT925 usando Tapatalk 2

If you want the same font everywhere then check everything. Other than that I'm not sure what to tell you.
If that doesn't work you could always try email the dev of the app and ask him what needs to be changed specifically. I can only tell you what has worked for me.

[Q] How do i get % battery icon

how do i get 1% battery icon on rooted Nexus S 4G with sprint stock rom. thanxs
I use battery indicator, a free app from the market. I have not found a setting within the phone that does it natively. I imagine this has to do with the fact that the battery icon is now vertical, and the numbers would be too small to read. Seems like a silly step backward for Google to take with Gingerbread. Hopefully they fix that with Ice Cream Sandwich.
If you like I can post a flashable zip that will do this for you...
This is included in the ns4g Rom that's posted in the dev section.

hey man this is awesome just one thing i noticed. At the lock screen, If you just pull the "unlock" bar or the "sound on/off" a little bit, there's like a white discoloration from the natural grey that the bars have. Is there anyway you can fix this because this battery indicator is just awesome.
Thanks

Dialer And Contacts (Works on RC1 and Hermes)

Here is Galaxy Tab custom dialer and contacts.
I'm still working on it, but if you want to try it here is what you need to do:
1.Backup your original Contacts.apk, in case you want to go back to original one.
2.Download the attached file.
3.Replace it in /system/app using Root Explorer.
4.Set the permission like the last attached picture.
5.Reboot.
That's it, I hope you like it, if you do just hit the thanks button.
*Do the steps for phone.apk as well.*
Change Log:
The search result white font on white backgroud is fixed.
Changed some images in Phone.apk, including incoming call background.
White letters on white background
in the phone tab iff you add favorites ther name are invisible on the white background.
Nice work m8.
is it possible to make it whit white background whit black letters.

I'm not sure which tab your are talking about, because when I add favorites
the contacts font is black.
Edit: If you mean the search result, The color is fixed.

You don't need a rooted device to use this dialer but in order to replace the files
into your /system/app, you need to use an app like Root Explorer which needs a
rooted device.

It was from a Samsung note 3. Sorry I forgot to state that
Anyone?
Just ask a note 3 owner in the note 3 forum as he can easily look at his own booted device...

I was in Titanium backup and deleted something and now when I try to change my wallpaper the Pixel Launcher force closes. Does anyone know what files I would need to get this running again? the duplicate entries is a known bug, I guess that happens only when overlays are enabled through cmd. I didn't see them in case of substratum.
