So I just read about a social alarm clock that's coming out on vita in a couple of days; was wondering if some here can/will/might make something like here for the One S, or android in general?
Copied from kotaku:
This is it, video games. You've hit your peak. Things aren't getting much better than Wake-up Club, a free game that comes out Tuesday for Sony's PlayStation Vita handheld.
Wake-up Club, you see, is a social alarm clock.
"What does that mean?" you might ask. Excellent question. What you can do with Wake-up Club is set the app to wake you up in the morning, then look over at your Vita and see the avatars of a bunch of other people who wake up at the same time as you. You can high-five other people who are awake, laugh at the people who are still sleeping, and add people as your Vita friends—because clearly you all have something in common.
But wait! There's more!

Your Vita will now keep track of how often you wake up on time. That's right, Sony has gamified the process of getting up in the morning. Waking up is now a video game. Pack it up, everyone. We're done here.

Hi all,
aTimer
I wrote this as I couldn't find a decent app that was quick and easy to use, and suited my needs.
Some features:
aTimer allows you to configure fifteen individual countdown or stopwatch timers for common activities, allowing you to quickly and effortlessly get on with the task at hand. Start a countdown timer, and when it expires, aTimer will sound a short alarm and vibrate your phone. Edit timers by long pressing on them. Use as a stopwatch by setting the time to 0:00:00.
Market link is here -->

or get the APK directly here -->

No ads, popups or stupid permissions **** (only vibrate & wakelock).
And just plain old free.
Give it a try and post me some feedback and I'll get back to you.
For Android 2.2 or later...

Those links do not work.
Hi XDA!
I want to share with you guys a widget a made for my own use before on time. As people around me asked me to have it due to its utility, I finally decided to publish it on Google Play.
What it isfor
The widget shows your next alarm (hour and day) with customizable colors. It also works as a shortcut to your alarm application. Yeah, I was tired of tapping so many times to check my next alarm!
SOUNDS GREAT. WHERE CAN I FIND IT?
I know, right? You can find it here.

NETWORK COMMUNICATION: Why? I am using ACRA library for crash reports (very useful). Because of Android fragmentation, the package of alarm application is different depending on your smarthphone. When you tap in the widget and it does not get you to the Alarm app, I get a report to know what is your smartphone model. I then go to look for the source code of your smartphone manufacturer and find out the package name
Hope you like it :good:
Updated (03/01/2013): Fix spacing for the hour.
Will try yes very nice does the job

Needed Alarm is an alarm clock that is mainly focused on the alarm clock sounds
What it has?
Alarm clock, of course
Sound builder where you can record voice and add intro, outro, or background sound to it
Alarm sound sharing - you can share the sound with your friend
You can share the sound that can be available only at the time you choose - kind of intriguing
No ads, no paid version, no registration - just install and use! I really appreciate your feedback!

By working remotely I've been having trouble waking up at the time I want. I realized that I need some kind of morning "motivational speech" instead of a default alarm sound. That's how this got started. Later I decided to add the sound sharing, make it look nicer, and release it.
For me, it's really interesting how this works for other people. So if you decided to give it a try, please leave your feedback. I really appreciate it!
