I was wondering, is it possible to have picture in picture( Like is S3, you can watch a video and use another app alongside. The video can be kept in a corner.) That would be cool. It sucks when I have to jump out of a video to text or reply to an email :/

With the iphone, I could add videos to my music playlist. I cannot find a similar app for my nexus one. I don't really want to keep a mp3 for my playlist AND the mp4 video of the same song. Does anyone know a fix?

Try meridian player on the market, for free, I handles videos and music playlists..unless you're looking to play videos files and music files at the same time..not sure possible!
Yeah, I mean at the same time. On the iphone, I could add a video to my music playlist. It would still play the video selected, like a song, with the screen turned off. I can't seem to find one that can do that on the nexus one.
I know MixZing and Meridian all play both music and video so you could try each to see if they work. There's a third that was on my mind but I can't remember that also plays both, maybe it was Zimly? I forgot now.

The first time I use the stock app to record a video, i happen to run a music app on background. It turned out that the video included the background music. I think this is amazing. But when i did it again and again, i didn't get the music in the video.
Does anyone have any experience on this ?
no one ever try? just run any music app (tune-in radio, pandora, whatever) and make a short video and see how it goes. I want to know anyone got the same problem as me. Thanks a lot!
Same here, its not just you. I want to be able to do exactly what you said you actually did. But no luck finding an app that will do it yet. All I need is it to play music while it records video. I only have one device to bring with me on a trip and I want to listen to music, while shooting the sunrise ANNNND have the music playing in the video. SGS2
Right now, if I go to a site that plays videos in flash, like Break.com for example, it will play the video on the website as if it was a desktop. and there is almost no way for me to control it because the buttons are too small (pause/play, skip, etc). In iPhone that would pop out and be played with quicktime player or whatever that native thing is. anyway to do this on this phone?
I don't believe you can do this with embedded flash videos. And just for comparisons, neither could the iPhone (with flash videos, that is).
Yeah, iPhone couldn't play flash videos at all. Only I think HTML 5 videos.
I did figure something out last night though. In dolphin browser I set user agent to iPhone. I was able to get videos that iPhone would "pop out" to also "pop out" and play with MX Player. So that was pretty cool
I also found that if I hit the fullscreen button while watching actual flash videos, it seems Dolphin has a sort of built in tool for that and it actually shows full sized buttons for pause and stuff. Though it would be cool if any/all videos popped out to play on MX Player.

^ lol. Upnplay + Dice Player works great. Another of my favorite players is Stick It. Allows a floating player window that you can move/resize.

No, i mean music player how is a Regular player that show Also the clip of the sony, and if the song has not have clip he show Nothing or picture.

What is "clip"? Album art? Lyrics? What you "download from youtube" is normally video, which Electrostatic Text already mentioned.

I want a player that plays songs and the song's video player. Without separation of video and songs. If the song has a video he saw him, unless he noy has a movie he saw a picture or a picture of the player. The songs I download YouTubeבטל עריכות

He/she wants the same kind of music player system that you get with iTunes and iOS devices, where music videos and audio files mix in a way that makes it appear as though music videos are simply audio files with video album art. They mix with the audio file in every other way, from artist/album/etc tags to being included in playlists and shuffle modes.

I tried searching on Google Play but couldn't find anything... maybe someone knows of a player that can do it.
I liked that feature in iOS too, but there's one problem with it: video files don't have any system for storing album/artist/title data. Apple adds that to its videos using the .m4v container format, which is how they can merge the two so seamlessly. Without that system in place, it's tricky finding a way to mix audio with album/artist/title data with video files that don't have them. Not impossible, but it could explain why there doesn't seem to be any such apps.
Showbox updated today and now instead of letting me use an external player of my choice it forced me to download MX Player from the Play Store. MX Player is useless to me because it does not have Chromecast support. Can someone explain to me why Showbox is doing this? I have no need for it anymore if I can't cast it and I don't want MX Player. It's crap.

I could not agree more. A service designed to help cut-the-cord started with annoying, "I can't be streamed" action last night. Now is proving to be WORSE than cable"s $200/mo for three channels even worth watching.
Comcast nazis then force their customers to rent a DVR/decoding box (another SEPARATE charge that never depreciates in value). So, tell me how Showbox is any different with rigging the game and forcing us to use some lame video player?
Well, I might as well uninstall because I can't stream to my TV anymore. The app on my ancient Google TV wants me to do the same thing. But, guess what? THERE IS NOT COMPATIBLE VERSION OF MX PLAYER for GTV. So, thanks very much (insert random chained expletives here)

I've tried every work around there is. No solution to this. I've Googled and searched and downgraded. I've recently sent an email to MX Player developers expressing my sincere disgust with this switch, and anger at their promised Chromecast support but lack of delivery. Furious! If I could find the developers of Showbox I'd let them know my displeasure as well. I've left a negative review of Showbox on Apptoide and a negative review of MX Player on Google Play. All we can do is hope Showbox gets the hint after all the complaints. Anyone have any other ideas of apps that do what Showbox does? I bought Chromecast JUST for this app less than a month ago....displeased is very minor depiction of how I feel now.

Nothing constructive is being said here, so I'll be locking this topic. If you want to complain about Showbox choosing MX Player, then go to Showbox's support forums/page/email. The MX dev has indicated intention to support Chromecast, but has never ever committed to a timeline; it will be ready whenever it is ready.
