Hi All,
After a recent OTA upgrade to 4.1.1 (DDBLL2) my Note 10.1 has stopped connecting to my office WIFI which uses Cisco LEAP.
A similar problem happened with my Note 2 and I was able to solve it by replacing the etc/wifi and etc/dhcpd folder from an earlier firmware version with help from another forum member. I want to try the same with my Note 10.1 too. Unfortunately I do not know how to extract files from a .tar.md5 file of the earlier firmware releases.
So request any of the forum members who are either currently on 4.0.4 (any English firmware US/UK/India) or those who know how to extract files from .tar.md5 to please share the etc/wifi and etc/dhcpd folders from the 4.0.4.
Would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
The Bone Collector

I have a samsung galaxy s2 running slim rom 4.4 and dorimanx 10.43
NOTE: Everything is working just fine on 3g/4g

Hi,
I'd need your S2 model to point you in the right direction please.
?
But let me say, it could very well be hardware. Or a bad gapps package. My suggestion is using Odin to flash official stock firmware and see if it's the same. If it is.... Could be phone hardware or possibly router related.

I have the international model I9100
Only apps that require an account have a problem connecting to WiFi, everything else works fine.
Whatsapp and Facebook also have this error neither of them uses the WiFi.
Anyway thanks for replying

Hello,
I`m verry new here, but i have an question.
I`ve got here a MXIII 4k 2gb DDR android tv box (model M82). At the moment i know how to put the new firmware on that machine.
A good friend of me, want to have an own bootanimation, well I know where that zip file is located on that machine, but I can`t reupload it to the machine.
I was looking for solutions and tools etc... but nothing worked so far for me.
Now I was looking for a tool that can unpack the custom rom file (exp: Tronsmart MXIII_115k4_20150603.img => 720.148 kb) , also I was looking for tools and solutions all over the internet, but had no luck.
Is there a tool that can unpack and repack that kind of .img files? and how does they work?
I work on a Windows 7 64bit machine, so the software needs to be for Windows please.
I hope you can help me
How did you get here? This is not a rom forum.

You can try asking for help in the dedicated forum section for the Galaxy Note 2 here
Hopefully, someone over there may be able to hook you up with the files you need.
Good luck
