This morning is reinstalled my stock rom to german 4.1.1 again and make a hard reset.
After setting up my account and reinstalling all Apps from google i noticed that there is a new icon in the multiwindow area.
The LastPass App is from now on a part of the multiwindow apps and i can use it as windowed everywhere i need.
Can someone confirm this?
Are there other Apps with this new functionality around?
Greetings Steyen
Yes, says so under the app's What's New section on Google Play.
Total Commander is another app to add multi-window support.

Hi can I ask? I want to make custom ROM from stock ICS for Xperia Tipo.. what app is safe to delete and what doesnt?? I hope anyone can help me with this.. I already search on google but I found nothing relate to this..
well there are some apps which can not be deleted at all
like google partner setup, systemui(status bar) and others
some apps like software update are not needed and are safe to remove
some other apps like phone app, messaging contacts and launcher etc can be replaced by an alternative app
like launcher can be replaced by a good launcher from play store
if you come across an apk you are not sure about, just google for its function
if it is not vital, then remove/replace it
is there any answer like list of it?
While using the stock rom...
1. Can I get a "Reboot" option on shutdown menu?
2. Possible to rearrange or even change the "Back, Home, Recent Apps" buttons? I'd like to swap the Back and Home button locations. Maybe replace recent apps with something I actually use.
3. Possible to add more items to the settings tiles accessed from the pulldown?
4. Is it safe to disable Google+ if I'm running an alternate launcher? Will any apps like Chrome or Gmail stop working (not sure if they're tied in)? I have an alternate gallery app installed so Photos and Gallery will be unused. Hangouts is already disabled on mine. Alternate SMS app installed.
Thanks for your time.
You need to gain root (methods are available on this forum) then download xposed framework, (also on this forum) then download a module called Gravity Box included in the downloads part of Xposed Installer. It allows what you're looking for on Stock Rom.
Edit: I forgot, in my case I hate the soft keys so I used Ultimate Dynamic Navbar to do what you want with rearranging/customizing. Also look into LMT launcher, it allows a lot of customization and includes all of the normal hard keys and app drawers.
1&3 as above
2 I've not seen yet
4 yea get rid the it, nothing will happen

Hello, i got some issues with Sub. i Use substratum with andromeda (non rooted) and Oreo 8.0 on my Pixel. Using Baltic UI theme.
I didnt themed any app.
First one is when i use Pushbullet app to transfer files between devices, when i try to open any file transfered to phone liek txt or pdf (besides images) it crashes the app.
Second one is that any application which has access to calendar adds anything to calendar it adds events as Birthdays, and then after 5 second even this birthdays are gone from calendar.
Maybe im wrong and substratum has nothing with it, but please let me know is it possible to substratum crash that apps and causes that problems with calendar?
And additional question, if i want to get rid of substratum themes and apply factory settings should i disable themes and uninstall substratum before or can i go to factory settings besides that? (non rooted installation of substratum)
And also can i update system to 8.1 with installed themes or i should get rid of them before? Thanks in advance for replying.
Sorry if any of these questions were asked before but there is so many topics and post about that so it gets really hard hard to get exact answer.
Thanks in advance!!!
hi is it possible to completely remove bixby, for some reason i only can pick bixby when i hold power button, any help thanks, also how can i remove samsung apss, like calendar, clock and what not
You can't "actually" remove them without custom firmware that does not include them. You can, however, "uninstall" them.
It's a trick that uninstalls for the current user, which is similar to the stock functionality of disabling apps.
[GUIDE] [DEBLOAT] Remove stock apps WITHOUT ROOT
Asus Zenfone has stock android without bloatware .. why this thread is created ?? Agreed that we have near stock android and most of the apps can be disabled in settings. But with the method mentioned below, app will never wake up to consume...

I believe there is a Samsung thread somewhere that gives the package names for a lot of those apps.
found sideActions on play store to removed and remap bixby. now on to removing these damn apps
you should just have a setting in settings / advanced features for the sidekey.
Hi guys. I'm a satisfied samsung Tab S7 FE user, but there is one thing that annoys me. Google maps are always having white theme and I can not find any toggle in settings to change it. I have not found any solution yet (reinstalling an app, clearing cache and any data, latest update available installed). From my point of view, it looks like the google maps app does not support dark theme on this tablet. Of course it is not a very big deal, but I think that it should work on almost every device (there is no reason to delete it from settings section). If you have found a solution, please write the answer below. I would really appreciate that.

this is the google guide
try it
On your Android phone 10+ phone, open the Google Maps app .
Tap your profile picture or initial Settings. Theme.
Select one of the following options: Always in light theme: Dark theme is always disabled in Maps, regardless of system settings. ...
Tap Save.
source : google support
As I said, I can't find a toggle to change an app theme. On two of my phones I can change it easily. On the tablet this setting is not listed in settings section.

I think in tablets we can't change it because I have SM-T585 and google maps doesn't allow me to set dark mode theme
