This post is for those developers who want to help those noobs to become a developer,So how many developers want to help??

Well there are Tutorials everywhere, there is a xda book in amazon, becoming a dev is all about reading and understanding, if you have spare time, you have more than enought resources to become one.

First thread in xda. ..
I'm new to forums and other stuff.. so,here goes,
I've always wondered why people always ask to hit thanks rather than say thanks. Simple question...

Becuases it fills up development threads with pointless posts. Hitting thanks keeps the thread clean and still lrts you say thanks

Like zac said above, it is much more effecient and easier to tap a thanks buttons, rather than get 200 posts saying "thanks"

OK it keeps the development thread clean.. .but I've seen people asking for thanks.. like they want it.. .more likely the only thing that post is written is for thanks.. .
Does this thanks convert to some money or something? Or why do people want this so desperately?

Yes it does.. xda is the only forum I joined and I love to tweak mobiles roms softwares. ..it seemed to me like, if I hit thanks, people will answer,if not they won't.. so, I'm still wondering on that ...

I'm guessing some people see it as some sort of competition, but in reality thanks are pretty worthless.
It mainly shows that you have helped a lot and it is easier for other people to see who is legit.

for explaining. Other sites have "Reps" or "Karma" it is tracked by the guys upstairs. They use it to determine if you're a good member of the internet at EOL.

Sooo... Might be a stupid question but why can't we just have a dual boot to try new roms?

i'm new to that too, but i find the app CatLog (available on play store) pretty easy to use
give it a try
