[Theme] [White'n'Black] Need help with my first own Theme

Hi!
I am currently working on a white and black theme for my Vario IV. Have a look:
Picture 3 | Picture 4
But I still have some Problems: I can't get rid of the stupid Web'n'walk logos and the Magenta:
Can you tell me where I can find these? In Manila Editor v.0.2 no magenta or wnw is left :-(

Thank you for your help, but it didn't work. Replaced the existing one, restarted the Phone and nothing happend.

OK, will download it and see what happens...

Instead of using TF3D to install the theme, use TOTAL COMANDER to copy the files in the .theme to your \Windows directory.
I just did that and no more web n walk icons. Everything looks great!
So... Maybe the Icons you want to change are in \Windows directory as .png files or they are embended in your ROM.
One other possible solution would be to first install a different theme and on top of install your theme (again, use Total Comander)

Hallo KobiP,
ist das Theme auch ohne Probleme und mit der selben Performance zu installieren? Und wie geht das? Muss ich das TF3D Config Tool dafür verwenden?
Wegen der Performance hatte ich schon eimal mit TF3D ein schwarzes Manila 3D vom Dimond verwendet. Nur war dann die Performance des 3D Menüs auch so langsam wie bei dem Diamond. Hab dann alles wieder zurückgesetzt.

OK, the problem goes deeper then thought. I have first installed my theme with Total Commander, nothing changed. Then I installed yours. Now it's black but wnw is still there!
Watch for the new design in landscape mode for wnw . But: If i try to copy my theme these two files cannot be copied:
1e8c4d7d_manila
6582c9b1_manila
If I copy yours these three can not be copied:
1e8c4d7d_manila
2330fc3c_manila
6582c9b1_manila
Is it because of them? And: I have also tried to deactivate TF3D and copy then, but it won't let me.

Du musst TF3D dafür nicht verwenden. Du kannst auch die themes datei in .zip umbennenen, entpacken und dann die Dateien mit Total Commander in dein Windows-Verzeichnis kopieren. Mit TF3D gehts aber bedeutend einfacher Geschwindigkeitsverlust ist mir auch keiner aufgefallen! Versuchs einfach mal, außer 5 Minuten kostets dich nix ;-)

Hi all
I downloaded the file from the first post (the recent one) and it gives me a .theme file. Since I've got the branded dutch T-mobile TP (and for those who got the branded version knows what I mean) and I'd like to get rid of the T-mobile logo's. Too much T-mobile for me
But I can't install the file provided in the first post. Do I have to extract the file so that I can install/copy it into my \windows directory?
EDIT: ah...I've red the german posts and it become clear Tnx anyway!!

I am guessing then that the theme files are in ROM so they can't be changed.
Did you try one of the custom Roms?

I tried to extract the .theme file and get stuck with a lot of manila files. I don't know what to do with those files but I'll search for some "howto's" here on the forums.

Just copy the files to your Windows directory using Total Comander...

great!!! it took me some time, but it works fine now and looks nice

I was afraid that this is the answer No, until now I have not tried different ROMs. My plan was to remove the Magenta & WnW without flashing, but the plan failed I will have to decide for myself now if I can live with WnW or If I flash my device.

Incompatible apps

Hi guys,
I'm using a galaxy nexus und after flashing a new Rom and rebuilding my apps with titanium it seems that I lost full play store support. A few apps can still be downloaded, but the rest is incompatible to my device.what can I do? market helper in titanium didn't help..

What GApps are you using ?
I have had that problem , but i flashed GApps again and it went back to normal.
Hope that helps.

Maybe you have wrong LCD Denisty, try to change it to 160 or 240 and then (after restart) check your apps in google play

Changed LCD density back to normal and it worked after deleting play store cache! Thanks!

(Workaround) Carrier name fix for cm10.1

We all know cm for S4 9505 (and perhaps the other variants) have the carrier name shown as a number instead the actual name.
Here is a workaround for that til it's fixed.
1. Download Modaco Toolkit and install.

2. Download and install xposed mod
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1957219&d=1368387321
3. Run xposed mod and install/update it in the app and check modaco toolkit.
4. In the modaco toolkit mod you should see system ui. Click on it and change your carrier name.
5. Reboot and enjoy.

Cheers mate! It works! Though I noticed it doesn't show up with the pull down notifications. Only on lockscreen.

Note 3 EFS problem.. Backup from Note 2 but i maked a new one

Hello,
I am from Germany, so please excuse me for my english.
I've got an problem with my EFS. I just make an recovery, while i want thinking it's badly. After recovering so I'm looked at my Serial from the Device and I've seen my Serial from my Note 2 but the IMEI are true. The recovery is maked without (Recovery)*.img . MAC-adress isn't been controled of fails. Now to my questions..
1st one: Where can i get any tool to reset my EFS to the originaly settings? (Windows, Linux or Android)
2nd one: Is it recommand to delete the EFS folder for automatical restore EFS?
3rd one: Who's speaking German here? German ones, please write me over pn. / Wer spricht hier Deutsch, bitte über PN bei mir melden.

Okay.. so I'm have found the failure of wrong EFS.. My backup that I maked isn't badly. Only the 'serial_no' in folder 'FactoryApp' was edited. I'm was Confused with the editing date of EFS backup folder, while it's maked on an date, who I'm doesn't have an Note 3. But on this date exactly I've maked an EFS backup from my Note 2.. I don't know why he did it on the same day who the Note 2 backup was maked. But the 2nd backup was created where doesn't lived my parents..

Now that we have root on our phones, I am searching for typical root apps. Maybe you guys can post them here if you already found some.
• YouTube background play/adblock?
• Statusbar tint (stock android style)?
• System wide adblock?
Other useful apps?
For my own findings, seems like Chainfires Recently works good on our phones.

careful with busybox. Normal busybox app doesn't install and screwed my system UI, I am using the inbuild busybox from magisk now but not sure how good this is... (or if it works correctly)
