I have succeed in getting nav bar buttons on my stock jellybean rom.
They are not at all buggy except in camera app, u can use camera jb+ for that:thumbup:....
So if you want nav bar....just add this to build.prop in end....
"qemu.hw.mainkeys=0"

Yeah right I forgot the exact line but it used to worked in my galaxy ace like this..... but the width of bar is like 3-4 cms. I mean very thick.
I haven't rooted my phone so will try it after rooting. ...or if someone tests it...

Well I did but the 4.2 keyboard keeps crashing so... back to normal.

I had to reflash my phone because the 4.2 keyboard kept crashing a lot. I just could control it like 2 seconds and then it crashed a lot, but then i turned off and it is reflashing all again... Do i have to recalibrate the battery? :l

You could just remove keyboard. Or remove its data, and revert it to status what was on install. And no, no need to
Recalibrate battery. I reflashed firmware lot of time on testing, and I didn't need to do that.

Hey everyone , who are having trouble taking screenshots after enabling nav bar buttons, i have foumd a method for that. Instead of doing HOME + POWER you can take screenshots via VOL. DOWN + POWER:thumbup::thumbup:

Because if I reduce the DPI value, two things always happens:
- Google Play says most of the apps are incompatible.. Even after clearing data
- Sometimes most widgets don't load or some apps I use force closes

Instal pimp my rom beta, to change the dpi and follow their methode, this always works for me (googleplay works just fine, got errors without theire methode)
Dont know anything about the minimization without changing the dpi.

Yes, you can make it smaller. Look for guide about that, I do not remember anymore. You have values, 36 was default, as I remember. It is change in xml of systemui or framework.

Yeah you can make it samller
Decompile the framework_res.apk and go to res/value/dimes.xml
There u'll find lines with navbar height and width.

Here are to Home launchers with extra home screens. I have moddded them to have 3 or 7 or 9 home screens meaning more widgets on desktop. YaaaaaaY.
ADDED NEW LAUNCHER 2.3.4 WITH 3 OR 7 OR 9 SCREENS.
How to add it:
Place either Home 7.apk or Home 9.apk onto the root of your sdcard
Copy or Move the home.apk to system. NOTE: DO NOT place striaght into system/app/ or you will recieve many FC
Change the permissions to: [+] = tick / [-] = unticked
[+][+][-]
[+][-][-]
[+][-][-]
Then Move the apk to system/app/ and paste there.
Reboot straight away. Do Not press home button
Once rebooted, you will have either 3 or 7 or 9 screens
Enjoy.

Pretty cool...if you have a need for it I guess. I barely use 3 of the 5 I already have. But should I ever need more home screens......I have the latest version of the SE launcher with the SE logo flashed over it replacing the app drawer launcher icon. If I flash this to my phone, would I be able to flash the logo over it just the same as I have now? I used the one from here

No, it'll install the whole launcher. Just add that icon to this one.

If you use the 3-screen launcher make sure to delete the widgets & shortcuts from your outer 2 screens before you flash it.

New Home
Can anyone link me to the newest home. The on dikej has given me has broke my ROM and needed to restore. Dikej, dont use the one you have given me the home screen will just keep FC on you. I added the permission files and the framework files and it still FC on me.

I tried the 15 button mod on clean room 2.1 odexed and it didn't work, the status bar went the way of the dodo.

Disable wifi popup in dialer. *#6335623# and select disable.

FWIW.... I've found the KT747-s kernel works quite well and can OC to 2100mhz. No problems so far, 3 days running.

I have been using Clean Kernel. It is very fast and great on battery life. I tried few others and got quite a few lock ups and reboots but been on this one around 3 weeks and no issues whatsoever!

You simply will not beat my kernel for stability. I dont try to put a bunch of Fancy Dancy acronyms in that mean nothing and reduce stability. I dont try to incorporate the latest linux kernel code. Im simply under volt and over clock. Thats as stable as it comes.

If the apk doesn't work, you're running a phone that is either A.) running stock Android (as in, AOSP), or B.) running software that has the stock Android keyboard as an option, you'll need to download this ZIP file, and flash it in recovery

The apk installs and works beautifully but only as long as u keep sliding fingers.freezes only if you press single key and backspace.still will flash it via cwm and give the review btw i m in bbrom(hope it doesn't make any difference)

If you are rooted, just use any of the root explorers and delete /system/app/AxT9IME.apk. That is the Samsung Stock KB. Remember to take a backup first!

This is a mod to make the flashbar transparent this is my first release so please give me some ideas on how I did or what you would like to see with this. It has only been tested on Jedi ROM's with the flashbar. Make sure to do a nandroid before flashing in recovery just incase you want the original flashbar back it will replace it at sometime i can make a flashable stock bar if needed. To get the flashbar to work after reboot, I have to go in to display and disable multi window then reenable it.
Does anyone else have to do this?

I never have to just have to wait till phone reboots then unlock and hold the back button for a sec or two then shows up for me.

I modded the CM9 Statusbar to make it transparent, so here are the zips, just flash them from recovery:
As earlier I've three different versions for three different transparency values of the statusbar

I like the notification tray to be 75% transparent but I've noticed that some people like different transparency percentage for the notification tray so I made a few modded apks for different percentages
And as some people are too lazy to push the apk to system themself so I've made flashable zips for those people

Revert back to what?
Nd you could also use a different launcher to get rid of the shadow that shows the separation
Revert in the sense back to default status bar..( though it may not be neccesary as its just awesome )
Well if you want to revert back to default then just extract the SystemUI.apk from the ROM's zip nd push it to system/app/ nd set permissions
