I got the bluetooth.apk from my son's razr m. Is it possible to replace the s3 bluetooth profiles with the razr m's? I'm trying to find an easy way to connect to my Dodge Dart's Uconnect system. The uconnect system is fully supported for the razr but not the s3. Would I have to root my s3 in order to install? Is there anything else that I would need to do in order to get this to work? Any help is appreciated and would probably help alot of others not just me. Thanks

Tried just kicking off the apk by itself not rooted and came up with this error "Bluetooth Share application not installed Package with that name and different signature already installed". Any ideas?
Im not as experianced as most but im pretty sure you would have to root your phone and switch out the system file. But you could probably upgrade your stero firmware by burning it onto a cd and running it in your system. I my self am looking how to hack uconnect to change some stuff. Ill let you know if i find anything.

Hello,
I am brand new to this forum and I apologize if this has already been answered elsewhere... I just purchased a samsung galaxys3 and i rooted the phone in order to get my MOGA controller to work with all of my games. I am not a very experienced user when it comes to these things, but everything turned out ok and I was able to use the controller the way I wanted... however, last night Verizon updated my phone to Jellybean 4.1.1 and after the update I no longer have root access Is there a fix for this? I already tried to redo the root process and it is not working. I have the super user app reinstalled but it tells me it does not have superuser permissions... I just wanna play my games. lol... any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

OTA updates usually remove the root. U gotta root it over again. Not with the old procedure u might have used to root when it was on ics. It won't work on 4.1. Use method specific for 4.1. Look into ur respected forum for the steps.

Hello everyone! I'm a new member here. I'm not really experienced with roms or anything. Sorry in advance! :$
But I was hoping one of you could help me out with a problem I am having with the app Drivelink.
The app it's used to mirror your phone to your cars head unit. I recently updated my phone to Kit Kat and the app doesn't want to open. Do you guys know of anything I can do to make the app work?
Sadly Samsung didn't include the TMServerApp.apk File that is needed for drivelink to run properly in the Kit Kat build for the Galaxy S4.
There is no way to make this work at the moment and currently there is no one working on it.
Transition from 4.4.2 back to 4.3

So I have a friend who has this tablet, a Visual Land Prestige 7, Model # : ME-107-L-8GB, Android 4.2 JellyBean. He tried to root the device using a market app called Towelroot before I could get to him. He says he ran the app and now all his tablet does is freeze up, and as far as we can tell it is still not rooted.
I have successfully rooted 3 separate GS3's and an HTC Evo, so I can say I know my way around a tiny bit, but I sure as heck would never trust any apk to do the rooting for me.
Anyway, I cannot find any support for this off brand or model on the site, so i figured i would ask here. Any one know the correct way to root this particular device? any replies appreciated. Thanks in advance. Sorry if this is in the wrong place, please move it wherever you think it should go.

You could try toweroot root as well...
I have used Bin4ry's method and never have any problems. You can get it here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1886460
The other way would be to use dsixda's Android Kitchen:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=633246
Of course that is a little more involved, but that to has never failed me.
Hope this helps.
i also had a tablet with no brand name, vroot did it for me.
Use FRAMAROOT

I've been using the app from this thread that worked amazingly. https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/ps4-remote-play-android-thread-t3068225
But since the ps4 update to 4.50, it's stopped working and I was wondering if anyone is working on a similar app that will work on non rooted devices for the new update. I don't want to root my phone yet with it being a bit too new. But I have got a rooted tablet so if anyone has a way to make that work, it will be appreciated all the same!
Really sorry if this is in the wrong thread
Thanks in advance
I'm looking too for a solution ! =D
