How to Install this ROM?
*This ROM is flashable via CWM recovery
Note: Make a backup before flashing this ROM, just in case something goes wrong!!
1. Download LightningROM, gapps-jb.zip and Multi DPI Play Store for JB.zip
2. Place these files on your external SD
3. Make sure you have installed CWM
4. Reboot to recovery
5. Wipe data/ Factory reset
6. Wipe Cache partition
7. Wipe dalvik cache in advanced menu
8. Choose the option Install zip from sd card and locate the zips and flash in this order -
(i)LightningROM
(ii)gapps-jb-20121011
(iii)Multi-DPI-Store for JB
9. Reboot system
10. Enjoy !

1) How to use Adrenaline Boost Script ? --> Download Terminal Emulator, Open it then type

3) How to use superchargerv6 script --> Open SManager, touch browse as root, hit back two times then go to system-->xbin-->superchargerv6.sh--> touch the su icon (make sure it is green) --> touch run. go through the script. Then choose the 9th option at the driver's console. Then choose the SuperClean and Restart Option. (you will have to run the script every time when you reboot but when you run first time it takes time to install but when u do it after reboot it will take u straight to driver's console and after that choose 33rd option and hit back.) Done !!

Video recording is a bit better !
And you can overclock it to max 1200 mhz !
Touch screen not working
Any ideas why my touch screen not working? Connecting a mouse works.
I updated the ROM after bricking it.

First go back to yarvik ROM !
then do this download es file explorer press the three dots go to root settings check all check boxes then go back to main screen of es file explorer then long press the dev folder, set properties, check all boxes, click ok. Do the same for the data folder, now open the dev folder, and repeat the steps for the block folder, and inside the block folder do the steps for nandg file.
then restore back to stock rom, now you have touch working !
then install this ROM !
Great work, thanks! You probably know all this already, but just reporting - hardware acceleration is a bit flaky. Sometimes it works but sometimes MX Player defaults to SW for no reason. Other times HW works but there's a multi colored artifact in the bottom and the resolution is very low. But then sometimes it works fine. Also, some audio don't work with HW, and starts working moving to SW. I am using MX Player btw, and another thing is that it doesn't go to full screen completely, just the status bar icons are hidden as dots but it is still there. In Mobo and BS Player the status bar goes away but it only fills 95% of the screen. Hope all of this helps.
Also, I am on v2.1. Sorry for the n00b question but what is the best way to update to v2.2 without losing apps/settings?

Did the same (Install stock rom and then this one).. works now.
Any ideas why Idea netsetter is not able to connect on Funbook pro? - even with this ROM
Looks like it is not going to sleep sometimes. So even in idle with the screen off it is awake and eating battery. In the Battery section under Settings I can see clearly that the bar continues under "Awake" even though the screen is off. But sometimes it goes to sleep as normal, other times it doesn't. Any idea what's up? Now using v2.2.

JellyBean has some bugs ! Due to kernel maybe !!
Also, My screen always goes to sleep and doesn't eats battery !
But the battery life is good so you dont need to worry !
And for playing HD 1080p Videos Jellybean has bugs for it also !

Thanks. It is not going to sleep most of the time now. There was 30% battery remaining last night and overnight it has discharged completely, so for now the only option is to power off when not using.
Let me know if there's any info you want so we can find out the bug. It looks like "Surfaceflinger" is one of the processes keeping the tablet awake and using power.
But when in use battery life is definitely better than the stock ROM, and also much smoother.

Try MoboPlayer, it is working for me. 1080p videos are not smooth in either MXPlayer or Moboplayer though but up to 720 works fine.

Dude can u help me with this:
I installed CWM 6 ....After that when i reboot to recovery the following error shows up -
Can't mount /sdcard/ cache/recovery/command

2 Questions and really need your help as I carrying the TAB with a mouse :crying: !!
How can I go back to Yarvik ROM
After this step should I simple install the ROM from SD card or should I follow the all the steps (Wip factory date/ delvik cache etc) too??

1. Make a full backup of your current ROM. Then copy it over to PC if you wish.
2. Reboot into ClockworkMod Recovery (CWM). *Note* You should always flash CWM using a USB Cable and NVflash; do not 'flash CWM from the ROM Manager app'.
3. To begin start by clicking "Wipe User Data/Factory Reset", this will wipe all data off of the phone's memory (not SD card though).
4. Now click "Wipe cache partition".
5. Then go down to "Advanced > Wipe Dalvik cache".
6. Choose Install zip from "External SD Card". Wait for that to complete and confirm you see an "Installation Complete" message.

HOW TO CHANGE BOOT ANIMATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Download the posted ZIP file either using your device, PC & USB, or however you'd like and save the bootanimation.zip file to the root of your SD CARD (i.e. /sdcard).
2. OTD, using "Root Explorer" navigate to /system/media and mount as "Read/Write" (r/w).
3. In that folder, rename existing bootanimation.zip to "bootanimation.zip.orig" and save. This is now your backup file.
4. Press "back" twice to get out of those folders and navigate again into /sdcard and find your bootanimation.zip that you already downloaded above.
5. Long-press the .zip file and select "Move", then navigate back into the /system/media folder and "Paste" it there.

Awesome Job Don! It's really smooth and the battery life doesn't drain too fast! However I have a question, how would I mount emmc? I go to CWM and go to "Mounts and Storage" and once I mount emmc, I can see all of my files but once I boot to the ROM, emmc is empty...

EDIT: The fix for this is pretty simple. Props to the other fellas who found out how to do it. Simply get a Root Browser, go to System/Etc/vold.fstab then change the number 9 to an 8. That's all! This will mount your EMMC Partition

to answer your question idk ICS uses different mounting points i soft bricked my phone couple of times lol when i was building source since partitions don't mount like GB, but did you try via root explorer under mnt/emmc and then copy/paste to SD ?

As for the video to display all of the features...you have too many!
For the mnt/emmc, I have checked under the root browser...and it's empty but again through CWM I can view all the files, no biggie but it would be cool if someone knew the fix. Perhaps a few cmd commands in the terminal may fix this...anyway I'll do some research and see
I was getting this com.android.phone error at the begging when u sign up not now tho and the screen like goes black when I m writing something in the browser
I was tapping around on the screen and accidentally confirmed an error message while waiting for the splash screen to pass, but I briefly read something that contained com and media (I know that doesn't help much.)
No other error messages so far.
Everything is good so far except settings>battery doesn't show anything using it. I've only had it on the charger so far but it should still be showing something, correct me if I'm wrong.

This release is pretty darn solid bud... Already spent the last 4 days trying to break anything I could... aside from a few known issues there really isn't anything buggy. ...and its only getting better from here folks!

Wow that was helpful. Since I don't have anything under my meter (this being the only ics rom not showing something) I figured it was an issue. Has yours shown apps using battery since you installed it?
I've fixed permissions and restarted several times. If that's the only issue then oh well lol.

Mine don't... just checked that.
OK I changed the option at the top a couple times from albums to people etc etc then back to albums. Now its good, very strange.

This project originally started by Fonix232 does not only aims to port the TouchWiz ROMs to our device, but to have a full-blown Samsung experience, as good as on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 itself (and of course, a lot better than stock performance).

HOW-TO-FLASH time
1. Copy the zip to your external/internal SD card (it depends on which CWM are you using)
2. Reboot to recovery
3. Do a backup of your current system (in case you want to revert back!)
4. Wipe Data+Cache+everything
5. Flash the zip, then reboot, and wait the system to boot fully (leave it booting completely EVEN if it seems it's bootlooping at the bootanimation)
6. Now get your ass to work, and fix some stuff you can
Please, if you decide to fix things in it, post about it, so we won't work on the same stuff! This will make things go more efficiently!
Troubleshooting:
Q: The screen not rotating itself it's a pain in the a**. How can I rotate the whole UI?
A: Yeah,autorotation still needs a definitive fix. In the meanwhile I included in the ROM an app called "Display Orientator". Open it,then exit. It will put a small icon in the high-left corner of your screen. If you tap that icon once,the screen will rotate to portrait mode. A long tap on the icon when you're in portrait mode will bring you back to landscape. Nice huh?
Q: I need USB connection to my computer!!!
A: Keep calm,at the moment MTP usb mode doesn't work,because of Samsung's kies mode deeply integrated into frameworks. We're working on a temporary workaround,just wait for it
Q: ZOMGG HW Video decoding not working!!??1 How can I reproduce my favorite movies now???
A: There's a solution even for this Just download the free app "MX Player" (and its correlative Armv7 plugin) from play store,set default decoding as S/W (if you choose S/W [fast] you'll lose too much quality) and ,tada! You can play every video you've stored on your "GalaxyTab"
On the other hand,we know YouTube videos can't be played,unfortunately. If you find a workaround,just tell us
Q: I can't see my external SDcard from Sammy's "My Files" app.
A: Yeah,this is because GalaxyTab doesn't have an external SD slot Just download from Play Store another file manager (I use RootExplorer,paid app but just great) and you'll be able to mess around with your external sdcard

Oh i missed the part;

i don't think this is booting at all 12.43am was this procedure at least started and still hasn't booted (01.09am)

i don't know i went to bed and fell asleep
Well after 6 hours of boot time I decided to tell myself it won't boot, can op check this and se if it really boots? I followed the steps and I usually does this all time I flash so I can't missed anything. MAybe you uploaded wrong zip? I can't say but you may check

ROM is very good smooth but still needs some improvement
camera is working
Rotation not working as mentioned
Sd card not appear
Battery symbol in the status bar is flashing appear and disapppear not stable ( it is not appear in screenshots)
For me it is very good rom just need to be with ICS not HC

As stated in first post,sdcard will show in 3rd party file managers
And as far as the non booting tabs.. well it's weird! Mine booted after 5-7 minutes at first boot!
You can try flashing the ROM,then if it bootloops,force reboot the tablet keeping pressed power button. If it still doesn't boot try to wipe data+cache and reboot
Ah! I don't know if this is useful,however I reverted back to an HC official build before flashing

Requirement NOTE for V3 [Jelly Bean]: You have to be on Stock V2 first (which i guess most of us have ) to flash it. Since the partition table of Stock V2 and T2 is same but its different in Stock V1.
Root your phone - Refer THIS to root your phone [Thanks Jgsolo27!] (Skip if you're rooted)
Flash CWMR - refer THIS to flash CWMR [Thanks Subtrix!] ( Skip if you've already flashed it)
Download DrBhokali ROM
Copy it to the root (the very first level of sd card ) of your external sd card (though it can be done using internal sd card also)
Turn off your phone.
Reboot in CWM recovery mode [ For this press "vol up + vol down + Power" button simultaneously ]
Choose "install zip from sdcard" option
Select "choose zip from sdcard"
Select DrBhokali Rom file and install it [ use vol up/vol down keys to move up/down AND power key to select ]
Wipe DALVIK cache (For this go to advanced->wipe dalvik cache)
Reboot system

when people say in their new roms Improved Battery Life
what does that mean can u please tell what did u do for this ? i have used many stock and custom roms in my previous device all claim same but none works. so can u elaborate ur point ?

Successfully installed and big thanks for this rom. I came up with couple of issue a) LG camera app have force close issue but i tried some other camera apps like burst cam and camera zoom FX and ther are working fine so pl include stock camera in next version of rom. b) WiFi not working as it started working after flashing WiFi update fix.
The most imp thing is the battery backup which i will let u know after a day of usage. Still playing with it...hope every thing works grt...

but upgrading to jelly bean is a developper work, bucause mtk didnt made the 4.1 source for mtk 6575, too old.

Well, as you can read in the the other Aiki thread there is no support for USB OTG implemented into the kernel of our Xtreamer. What do you think about getting the knowledge to program a new kernel for that?
Next finding: Aiki runs at 1000 MHz or is in deep sleep. The other processor speeds are not used (166 MHz, 250 MHz and 500 MHz). I'm experimenting with different programs to achieve that functionality. Maybe you can implement a program like "CPU adjuster" to reduce battery consumption? Just a note: 166 MHz seems to be too slow to operate the phone in all situations. Had a couple of spontaneous reboots over the last days. After limiting low speed to 250 MHz my Aiki runs smooth without reboots.

Thanks. Downloaded the *.zip and will try it on weekend.
Just to confirm I'll do it correct:
- make a backup !
- download the file to your µSD card and insert the card back into your phone
- restart your phone and check with filer that the update file is there
- long press on/off button and select "restart" from menu
- choose recovery
- phone restarts and shows CWM recovery meny
- navigate with volume down to "wipe data/factory reset" and press "on" button
- now navigate to "install zip from sdcard and press "on" button
- "choose zip from sdcard"
- navigate to the zip file (I copied it into the folder named UpdateMe) and press "on" button
- choose "yes" from menu and again press "on"
- have a coffee and wait (takes some time), your Xtreamer will reboot
- Now reinstall your programs/your backup and enjoy.
Note: This is the procedure of the official update and it will work for this ROM too. Am I correct?

Impossible, i didnt change anything to the gps.

1. Left Capacitive Button shows recent menu?
A: To accommodate the shortcut for floating apps the capacitive button have been reconfigured.
Long press of left button will take you to floating apps launch pad. For the actual function of left capacitive buttons a 3 dot menu can be found in most of the apps.
2. How to change lockscreen wallpaper?
A: Go to Settings -> Control Centre -> UI Tab -> Lockscreen
3. Some features of Gravity Box doesn’t works?
A: This ROM has some stuff which work on custom framework and Gravity Box doesn’t support this. SO some features won’t work. This is neither the ROM nor Gravity Box error
4. Quick Settings tiles have disappeared?
A: This happens as Gravity Box takes over the quick settings tiles. You can customize what tile you want by doing this
Go to Settings -> Control Center-> General-> Gravity Box -> Status bar tweaks -> Quick Settings Management->Status bar Quick Settings titles
5. Network Signal Bar disappears when orientation is changed
A: This usually doesn’t happen, but occurs when the screen orientation is changed continuously of couple of times. Although the signal bar disappears, the network connection is not interrupted.
To get back:
1. Try switching data connection off and then on
2. If the above doesn’t work , go to Settings-> SIM Management -> Switch the SIM off and on again
6. Dialer keypad not oriented properly.
A: This is due to higher dpi of the mobiles which I ported from. I am trying to fix it. Rest assured all the dialer functions is working properly
7. Mobile freezes while chaning recent app style?
A: Yes, this normal the mobile will freeze for a minute or so and then reboot itself.
8.Themer is not working
A: If the themer fails to work check these
1. Make sure you have SD card
2. Go to Settings -> Control Centre -> General Tab-> Themer Settings -> Re Run Set Up Enviroment
And then try
9. Reboot Option not found in Power Menu pop up
A: This can easily be enabled, follow this
Go to Settings-> Control Centre -> Gravity Box -> Power Tweaks -> Check Advanced Reboot Menu
10. Mobile takes long time to reboot or boot
A: Well yea .. This happens as lot of scripts and apps have to be loaded but after that the ROM works like a butter
11. MyStyle App Force Closes
A: This happens a couple of times during first boot . Just try opening the app for 4-5 times , it should work after 4th or 5th time
12. No native Video Calling?
A: Yes this ROM has no native video calling , but there are so many 3rd party apps for that but it does support internet calling
13. Irritating Stock Music EQ !
A: Well what can I say ... I have left it as some emotional reminder of Acer , after all this ROM is based on their work. . Actually this EQ **** is integrated pretty deep and I dont have that much time to work and remove and fix it, so yea you will have to live with it.
14. Wifi Grey Bar , Blue Bar ...confused?
A: So here is the thing , WIFI When GREY - You mobile wifi is not connected to Google server and most of your GAPPS wont work and when its BLUE it mean mobile is connected to Google Servers and GAPPS should work fine. If you mobile is stuck at grey wait for a couple of min , if it is still not blue then switch wifi off and then on
15. How to get Xposed Installer and Gravity Box working?
A: To get Xposed Installer and Gravity Box working , follow these steps
1. Go to Xposed Installer -> Framework -> Install/Update and reboot
2. Go to Xposed Installer -> Module-> Gravity Box -> Check It and reboot
YOU ARE DONE!
16. Move to Phone Storage or Move to SD card?
A: Please note , although the Settings may show Move to Phone Storage , It MOVES TO SD CARD
17. GPS Doesnt Fix ??
A: Refer to the video above
18. How to Get Android L look keyboard?
A: Go to Settings -> Language and Input-> Click the Settings Icon to the right of Google Keyboard under Keyboard and Input Methods -> Advanced Settings -> Colour Scheme -> Material and you are DONE!
19. USB MTP not available?
A: I tried to get it no luck....
20. USB Icon persists even after removing?
A: Make sure you have ejected the drive from your comp and turned off USB Storage. If the problem persists just reboot

Hi Shikhar, I am flashing the ROM. Aroma installation is done. Clicked on Reboot. It's stuck on boot logo. Waited for 45 min but no luck (still waiting).
I have verified the MD5. No issues with the download.
Any help?

Gave me an awesome battery life and multitasking is also very good!
But can I somehow get the classic recent key back, long pressing home button one?
Tried Gravity and Xposed Additions, still no luck. The Edit button thing is irritating!
