About battery stat in recovery menu.. - HTC Pico (Explorer)

i have some doubts about
1) I'm way confusing that how can we increse battery life.. by wiping the battery stats in recovery menu.. actually what it will do by wiping battery stats in dat menu.
2) if we wipe battery stats then what it will wipe .bin file.. so after wiping how will get that again.
3) should we wipe battery stat after new custom rom installation or can we wipe in that stock rom itself.
4) is there any chance of bricking fone by doing this.. i mean battery dead anything like dat.
5) when we should wipe this stats..
6) what is the use of battery calibration app in playstore. see this link - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration

1), 2) It'll delete .bin file, then android will make one by it self, with new stats.
3) Normally it is recommended to wipe them after flashing new rom, so you will have fresh start, I think that when you wipe everything when flashing new rom, wiping also wipe's the stats BUT i'm not quite sure about that. Personally so far I've wiped my stats only once because my battery % was obviously wrong.
4) By wiping stats, no you can't brick it, but you should keep in mind that to several members, when battery was discharded to 0% the phone doesn't start, and won't charge while switched off, then you need external charger, or another battery.
5) Battery app that you posted, wipes the stats, and check's out voltages, so you can be sure that your battery is at 100% when you wipe stats. It's recommended your battery to be at 100% when you wipe stats.

can we wipe battery stat after some days use of new rom.. if we do dat will make anything wrong.. anybody got better battery life by doing any miracle..

Yes, you can wipe battery stats whenever you wan't, it's recommended to do it when flashing new rom so you will have fresh start with the rom, but you can wipe it after that.
Best way that I've discovered so far, is to use "Better battery stats", it shows you what is taking what from your battery, then you can make some changes and be happy.

Battery use about phone

Why is battery use not resetting itself, it says 7days on battery... shouldnt it reset to zero everytime recharged?
You haven't said if your phone is rooted or not. If you are rooted, boot into recovery and you can wipe the battery stats there. I belive some custom roms have it built in so that after the first 100% charge the battery stats are wiped automatically.
If you post more info about your phone you'll get better answers.
unrooted and stock, and now it has reset after another charge....

[Q] MiniCM7 battery issues

Hi!
(xperia x10 mini)
I have installed MiniCM7 2.1.7 and Kernel 2.6.29.6-nAa-09
Everything looks great, except the battery is drained within an hour.
I have tried to "wipe battery status" from Recovery without success.
It's very strange. I fully charge my phone, reboot into recovery, wipe battery stats and reboot. When the phone gets up again, It sometimes has 4%, sometimes 52% and so on.
When I get the 15% warning, the phone often dies 10 seconds later.
I had the same problem with 2.1.6 and kernel nAa-08
I have tried to wipe data/factory reset and reinstalled 2.1.7, but nothing helps.
Any ideas ?

Problems regarding official cyanogen mod 7.2

Hey guys
Well i had some problems with cyanogen mod made by tj_style
1-Battery drains so damn fast, i keep my mobile charging like 3 hours, wipe battery stats using CWM, used battery callibration but still it drains so fast, does it have anything to do with the kernel? because when using stock firmwares, this problem is gone.
2-Where is the screen calibration? i can't find it at Settings>Display Neither at Cyanogen mod settings.
And i am still a newbie so please take it easy on me.

Cm by tj_style is super smooth with no bugs, not even battery drain bug
Check your battery is swollen or not. how old is you FIT,battery??
if above is good, read below stuff.
flash the rom with the below instruction and let me know if still the battery bug exists..
wipe data, cache dalvick cache dnt format battery stats
flash the rom
again wipe data, cache dalvick cache
and reboot. let the rom settle and then again go in cwm then install gapps (if u want) reboot and check/test battery drain prob.
turn off when not in use : wifi, gps , bluetooth, mobile data, auto orientation , auto sync ,reduce brightness
when u want to charge ur phone :
turn off phone
remove battery
put the battery
let the phone charging
after charge complete (2 hrs) remove the charger cable and remove the battery
put the battery
turn on ur phone

I've been using his firmware since 4 months and this problem started to appear the first time i flashed it.
I've tried your method many times and still bug exists
and excuse me what does a " swollen " battery mean?
Anyway i bought a new original battery from my Samsung customer care, and problem still exists.

of course i turned off all these stuff before reporting this problem as they are hard battery drainers.
But thanks i'll try your method.

Skrocket battery stuck at 100%, multiple roms/fixes attempted

OK so I bought a phone off craigslist as a replacement for my gf, really unstable running the stock 2.3 firmware, did a factory reset, seemed to be stable afterwards but the battery meter constantly reads 100%, so I flashed it to 2.3 stock with ODIN, problem was still present, put clockwork mod on it, wiped battery stats, still was there. Installed a PAC MAN rom, still there, flashed back to stock 4.1 firmware, problem still present, and finally put the dirty unicorn ROM on it and its still stuck.
So I found a post saying to charge up all the way, delete the batterystats.bin file reboot in recovery wipe cache partition and davlik cache, power off and keep plugged in, disconnect charger reconnect and leave powered off but charging, then turn on, did that and leaving on till it powers itself off and its still stuck at 100%
Oddly when the phone is turned off upon first showing it does display the correct battery for about 15 seconds and then reverts to 100%
What is going on here, how do I fix this

u would need to try an oem battery and cable to see if it corrects the issue, if not then its probably the charging port, reading this post might help http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2493751
An OEM battery really isnt a possiblity as no places sell it locally (sure I can order it online but this is a time sensitive project) and I really dont want to dump any further money into this project if its not going to work

Battery for 3rd gen stuck at 85%

Will not go any higher I've wiped cache partition art/davlink
Reset battery history after getting phone fully to 85% then running battery calibration.
Please help I'd need a working solution please so I can have full battery before my shift ends.
Is my battery screwed up or would it be my ROM installed ?
What ROM are you using?
I'm now using Xenon HD 03-01-16.
